Okay guys...
My SO just came back from trying to get his tail light fixed and came home because it was okay.
This stemmed from him getting pulled over after picking me up from work a few weeks ago. I was in full make-up, but wearing the unofficial dancer uniform of sweats and a tee. I joked that he probably pulled us over because he thought I was a hooker, but backpedaled and did the broken taillight thing when he realized he actually had no probable cause.
My BF's license was taken by the cop too, and he made me get a copy of mine from my club.
I'm wondering if there's anything we can do about this. It's utter bullshit. Should we get something in writing from the mechanic? I know it sounds like it's not worth it, but I'm trying to keep the post brief. It was totally unwarranted and there was no reason for him to have his license taken. I want to at least speak to the precinct supervisor, but any advice on possible legal recourse?
