auditioning.
Look I've read alot of posts about how girls audition, I haven't gasped in a long time, I wanna know whats up with getting naked in front of managers? :o like is THAT considered an audition? I would really be interested in other girls feelings, what goes through your head? We didn't audition in New zealand, they just threw you up on stage if you lasted you stayed more or less. I've auditioned ONCE since I've been here, and it just felt weird. I personally don't consider getting naked in a room with one guy professional, we being strippers or not. I guess it's a process I have to get used to over here. ;)

Re:auditioning.
In my experience dancing for four years in 7 or 8 different clubs in Maryland, Nebraska, Colorado, Scotland and Ireland, the audition always consisted of a stage show, except for one where I had to give the manager a lap dance. That felt unprofessional enough, I think I'd have a problem working for a manager that required I get naked for him/her. Doesn't seem right.

Re:auditioning.
My impression of the clubs around me in the northeast is that they are always looking for new dancers to fill out the schedule. At some clubs a dancer can just show up either before opening or during normal business hours and do a quick set on a satellite stage. If she's attractive and looks like she has some idea of what she's doing, then they'll offer her a job.
Many times girls just go in for amateur night. Almost every club around here has one, and it's as much an audition as it is a competition. Where the dancer finnishes is usually not as important as her stage presence.
