I hope that clears this up for everyone.

OMG you guys all make me laugh so much!
Okay, well, it just seems like the man upstairs is having his fun with me.. ever have one of those days, or in my case weeks? I mean, God must be just laughing his ass off at me this week because all of this week has been just one of those put your head in your hands kinda of weeks.. it started with running into people at home, then coming home and trying to do my norm routine and a project... so here's the deal:
I need a 50 gallon steel drum barrell to turn into a BBQ pit... so I am shopping around for perhaps a water heater to turn into a BBQ pit that can be mounted onto a trailer (I am doing a BBQ competition at the end of this month)... so I go to a recycling place and ask and this is how the convo goes.
Man: A BBQ pit eh? Well, I'll put your name down and if a water heater comes in or some barrells, I will call you.. oh wait a minute.. I think I might have something for you...
me: OH really? What size, can I look at what you have?
Man: They are plastic that will work right?
Me: (and I actually said this) Oh sure, a BBQ pit made from a plastic barrell, I'm sure that it will withstand temps of 400 degrees plus right?
Man: Its tough plastic, it might work
At this point, I just walked away... WTF? Plastic? OH yeah, the smell and taste of plastic on food.. that's a real winning combination isn't it?
Walmart.... at 1:00 pm on a weekday....
two checkers and a line as long as the line to a Bon Jovi concert... but prior to waiting forever in line... and then dealing with a checker who (now mind you, this is a different day than the beer day when I got the underage clerk) a clerk, who is asking me all about what I am buying, like announcing as he is scanning... "SO YOU ARE ON YOUR PERIOD.. HOW DO YOU LIKE YOUR TAMPONS? SUPER OR REGULAR?" (and yes, he asked me that question- whether I prefer super or regular because his girlfriend read some article where super are bad for your body).......
Also: why do people who run into others that they know feel that they MUST conglomerate the ENTIRE aisle and have a reunion of sorts? Then ignore people who are trying to get through?
Sprint Cell phone customer service:
I needed to change my plan as my plan is up... but since I am already a customer, I do not qualify for any special plans, but I can DISCONNECT my service and re sign up and get a new number and get a better deal... ???
The customer I had the night before last:
HIM: Do you take Debit cards?
ME: We have an ATM machine out front(Oh hell yeah, just swipe my ass and a receipt will pop out of my mouth! Do I look like an ATM machine?)
HIM: Oh, you just don't take them, I thought all dancers were self employed, your service fees on your ATM are a bit high
ME: No, but we have Rhino chips at the bar that you can purchase
HIM: Oh, I thought all dancers took Debit cards.. what about a check will you take a personal check with two forms of ID
ME: Sorry, cash only or you can get chips at the bar
HIM: Do I get a refund if I am not satisfied?
Me (DO I LOOK LIKE FRIGGIN KMART HERE?) Sorry, no refunds
HIM: Well, how do I know that I will enjoy my dance?
Me: (And yes, again, I said this) Well, how about if you just go home to a magazine and stop wasting my time since its obvious that you want to rip me off here...
HIM: I don't want to rip you off, I just need a receipt
ME: For what? A tax write off?
Him:Well, I'm doing a research project..
Me: Well, have a nice day, I'm not a lab rat....
(he ended up getting dances, but honestly, it wasn't worth the effort- I ended it after three sessions and couldn't handle the twenty question shit) And, no, I did not give him a receipt.
The YMCA..... this one is the best yet.....
Someone pooped in the pool- and there were no swimming lessons going on and no children and it was 5am (I will sometimes go directly from the club and go swimming to relax me).. so I ask of you.. WHY?
So this sums up my title to my thread... just a rant of sorts, but someone upstairs likes to test me.

Mmm, plas-ti-que. Sound yummy. I've only had the microwaved version personally.
:yummy:
I think G needs a vacation. Maybe we could bring the vacation to her. Stripperfest II in Idaho anyone?
And would someone bring a barrel or water heater?

Re:Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.....
Plastic would give it that "down home" aroma if home was Delaware or Newark.
As for a source of steel drums, look for construction sites or places where there was a strike. They always have the, LOL.
Seriously try companies that do processing of metal because solvents are shipped in them. Other places are wood finishers who use a lot of paint and thinner and the like. Be sure you get rid of any agent previously shipped in them that might have seeped in cracks. Personally I would want to use a counter solvent to whatever was shipped in it then soak it thorughtly in vinegar water for days. Any sign of any agent and do it again. Hit up customers you know who work in manufacturing. Some major volume restaurants might get grease in them.
PS They are 55 gallon.

Re:Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.....
there's some 55 gallon drums on ebay for cheap
there like 15 bucks new, about 20 to ship them.....
