Why is "blonde hair and baby blue eyes" the Standard Look for Dancers??
Why are blondes so popular when most are orginally brunettes anyway? ??? ???

Re:Why is "blonde hair and baby blue eyes" the Standard Look for Dancers??
Men have different preferences... and that we cant change. But I am a brunette and I make decent money.
Now, I dont know why you mentioned that most blondes are brunettes anyway? I mean, its a look they are trying to acheive. Hell, if I made more money as a blonde, I would go back. ;)
But since I make more with my natural hair color, AND I love it, then its all good. ;)

Re:Why is "blonde hair and baby blue eyes" the Standard Look for Dancers??
Don't know what you mean really. But i have a natural dirty blonde, or mousey light brown....YUK. I highlight my hair, with natural colour underneath. I have blue eyes, and very very light skin. I am Swedish, we are light....Very. I made GREAT money when i dyed my hair dark brown, (pix in gallery) But not near as much as with my blonde, i am far too light for browns. I am a natural actually, but with a top coat of blonde streaks all over.
Also, blonde hair turns heads, even if it's only for a second, and does nothing more....People look, that is what i need to work the clubs!
I LOVE dark hair.

That was when M.C Hammer pants were in, and seeing how high you could make your bangs, and let's not forget......tight rolling jeans....and I have to add...Eastland shoes.......man, those days were great :great:!!!

Now I'm getting all sentimental and nostalgic.Sheesh!

Re:Why is "blonde hair and baby blue eyes" the Standard Look for Dancers??
Not exactly sure what you mean, but if someone looks better as a blonde...why shuldn't they change it. I am a blonde...... naturally....and I highlight my hair with lighter streaks to enhance the undertones in my skin. I know many brunettes who make a killing..... especially certain ethnicities. It all boils down to preference. MANY men are suckers for brunettes, others red heads, but I don't think too many people go rushing out to dye their hair blonde just for the club.... they probably actually look better that way.

Re:Why is "blonde hair and baby blue eyes" the Standard Look for Dancers??
Maybe guys associate blonde hair with youth? or health?
I have a preference for brunette's but it is like so many other things... It is a preference but it is not that big of deal for me.

Re:Why is "blonde hair and baby blue eyes" the Standard Look for Dancers??
Blonde hair catches the light I guess...but I don't really believe a lot of this crap.
Many of the top earners I've seen in most clubs are NOT blonde, including myself.
Some guys will just always go for Barbie types, but there's always a flavor for every taste.

I'm not sure where you got this misconception from, but it's patently untrue. I know brunettes, redheads, and black-haired women all do just as good or better as any blonde next to them. Hair color has very little to do with earning money in this business and it's even one of the first things we talk about in our class under our list of "The top ten myths of exotic dancing". Guys just don't walk into a club and say "I'm only going to buy dances from blondes tonight". Guys and women alike are attracted to different shapes, ethnicities, and especially hair colors. To say that blondes earn more than non-blondes is just not true. It's just like saying "dancers who have birthdays in the second half of January make more money than dancers born any other time of the year."

Re:Why is "blonde hair and baby blue eyes" the Standard Look for Dancers??
LOL I have to agree with everyone else. Being a Redhead with Green eyes never hurt my earnings. In fact, 2 of the clubs I danced in, I was the only one, it made me both different and "unique".. Bonus! So, actually in those cases, it did help.
Men LOVE variety. Some favor blondes, some favor brunettes, some redheads, and so on...

Yeah, blondes are eye-catching that's what I figured it to be with me a long time ago. But here's my inventory: 6 long-term faves: natural blonde (rivetingly eye-catching), reddish-brown, chestnut brown, brown, black and back to blonde(dyed) again. But the chestnut brown one I know has captured me forever. So it's not hair color for me.
>>>Sad<<<

So, maybe blonde hair is just a better "fishing" lure. :)
Personally, I prefer long dark hair.

Re:Why is "blonde hair and baby blue eyes" the Standard Look for Dancers??
I myself adore a head of dark hair. However, my earnings have shown over the years that i do alot better with my hair very blonde. Many "tests" from women who have gone out in different coloured wigs said (magazines of course) the blonde got more hits, but was not taken serious enough, i can see that. I did very well when i tried the dark hair, but not near as good as being blonde.
I can say this for myself, i feel sexier, happier, and know i will turn more heads when i have very long blonde hair, because i get the most compliments on my hair than any other body part at a club, and it just feels right. I am too light for dark hair.
feeling better being blonde has an impact on my earnings!
Pamela ;)

Re:Why is "blonde hair and baby blue eyes" the Standard Look for Dancers??
I don't understand the whole blonde hair blues eyes thing either. But as far as stripping goes, I don't think blondes always make more money. I work with alot of brunettes and black haired dancers who do just as well if not better. Blonde hair has the advantage of glowing under the uv lights on stage. I find that the more I glow the better money I make. (-:

Re:Why is "blonde hair and baby blue eyes" the Standard Look for Dancers??
Actually I have met several men who prefer blondes over brunettes, and for some the more bleached the better. Every blonde I know dyes her hair every four weeks or so and that is not the same as brown haired chicks.
I think Donnatelli Versace looks horrible with bleach blonde hair.
I've had pig men say to me "i can't do a lap/room with you, you don't have blonde hair." ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;) ;) ;)
Men are type people, not all but at least %45.
This is the way it is guys, i did not write the book on what men should like.

I made a post here but its toast, Im wondering what the fuck?Im not the only one

Re:Why is "blonde hair and baby blue eyes" the Standard Look for Dancers??
FBR- the site was down for like 20 minutes earlier.. a lot of posts just vanished so I think it had a hiccup. :(
On the whole blonde hair, blue eyed thing... My tastes have always leaned more towards dark hair, dark eyes. Most of my ex's and the women I've dated have all been as such.. plus the dancers I hang with are usually brown, auburne or redheads.
I dont think it's so much the hair/eye color as it is the facial features and builds. Some people just have facial features or a build that looks more 'natural' as a blonde. I do know a couple KNOCK OUT blondes in the 'city, and both of which are natural brunettes doing the bleach thing. They do look substantially better as blondes... it better fits their facial features and eye/nose shape. So I can easily see certain stripclubs focusing on a particular look.. and one that just happens to be a look that looks best on blondes. :)

From what I can see from your pic, yea blonde works on you -- goes well with your face. I think polecat is correct - a lot of it has to do with your facial structure. Some girls look a little sexier as blondes, some sexier as brunettes, and so on. It is not a big deal either way of course, but you might as well maximize your profits.

Re:Why is "blonde hair and baby blue eyes" the Standard Look for Dancers??
Thank you Darren! So very kind. Blonde doesn't seem to be the colour going around here! lol. Seems i am the one who would love to have dark dark hair. But it looks like an ink spot on me. And i look so pale. Way light for dark. I pulled it off in the dark club, but when i hit lights......Oh shit!

Re:Why is "blonde hair and baby blue eyes" the Standard Look for Dancers??
I don't agree. Some guys like asians, some like spanish or black ladies, some like redheads. Different guys like different things. I like to wear different wigs sometimes. I have a long blond wig and a medium length dark auburn wig. I make good money with both hair colors. My real hairs is shoulder length strawberry blond. I make good money with that too. It's the overall look that guys go for not just the hair color.

Re:Why is "blonde hair and baby blue eyes" the Standard Look for Dancers??
;D ;D ;DI personally cannot stand glowing hair at the club, men do look at stupid stuff like hair color. Some men don't and that's good hair color should not dictate if a man should pay for a lap dance or a room for that reason. People are weird and espically at the strip club. >:(
