whats the job description of an exotic dancer?
the best advice ive read on here in the other thread i posted was to remember that stripping is a business and the only reason you are in the club is to provide a service for customers and nothing else. that completely opened my eyes to the #1 dancing mistake ive been making. i am guilty of sometimes making the club my social circle, and going to work and just drinking and talking with the other women and occationally giving dances - but not really hustling. in fact, sometimes im annoyed with customers who ask me for dances or to sit with them, because i would rather be in the dressing room doing shots and having fun with my friends.
i need to really adjust my additude, that stripping isnt a party its a job - and it could be a REALLY good one if i put some effort into it.
so whats the job description of an exotic dancer?
you know, the skills and responsibilites that i would have to keep in mind while im at work, to make working more lucrative for me.

A stripper must basically possess the same characteristics of a Catholic priest:
You must be willing to listen as we bear our souls and it wouldn't hurt if you fondled us from time to time.

You must be able to recite shakesphere, while contemplating particle physics.
Anything less... is uncivilized!

Simple babe - to make money. If you keep that as your focus you aren't gonna get distracted partying out back. ;)

Change clubs...that happens to me. When I get too comfortable I don't want to work anymore. I was actually talking to my friend about this. When I'm new I'll do well and hustle then after maybe a year the climax ends and I need to move on. I actually started at this new gown club and it is great!!! You should think about changing it up a bit.
EDITED TO ADD: I also try to keep my personal life and work life very separate. I've mixed the two together before and I dunno...then my whole identity IS an exotic dancer. Keep the personal stuff at home.
