Where do you advertise (industry related business)
We are looking to see where industry related businesses currently advertise and to see how we stack up. We have heard advertisers mention Xtreme Magazine, Nightmoves, and Exotic Dancer Magazine - do you advertise there or know of others?
Thanks!

Re:Where do you advertise (industry related business)
mostly online stuff, for my club www.clubexpose.net other then that, they hold promotional outtings at "Fiesta Island" and other party-going places in SD. Although (Re: "To model or not to model" in Strip gen.) they ARE looking to buy full page spreads in dirty mags.
Re:Where do you advertise (industry related business)
My club advertises in the local sex industry rag, lots of radio ads, lots of public events (our girls are at all the concerts, sports games, etc), and a website that is promoted in other venues. Oh, and a billboard.
Re:Where do you advertise (industry related business)
Used to have a billboard until someone stole it, a few magazine listings [Clubs in upstate NY sections] and a local 'zine type of one. We also have a website, and since our owner also owns normal bars we can hand out flyers and such there.
Re:Where do you advertise (industry related business)
My club does advertisment in a publication called "The Gambit" and taxi cab marquees.

We can't advertize at the club I work at due to the lawsuit settlement. We have had features at the club do radio spots before but that's the extent of it. We are also on website club listings, but primarially it's work of mouth.

The local adult services publication around here is called Night Shift. They publish editions in Kansas City, Wichita, and Oklahoma City.
Local clubs here generally will advertise through that, radio stations (usually rock or classic rock format), and one occasionally does spots on late night television (during COPS reruns ironically enough). Some have websites, some don't.
Re:Where do you advertise (industry related business)
well the clubs up here in Canada, well in Ontario primarily advertise in the trade mag that I work for, TAE Magazine. One or two use radio on an all guy type radio station MoJo Radio....
Once in a while they use the newspaper but seriously expensive and that has dropped off considerably, one or 2 ads a month maybe you see.
Out west they use the newspaper alot every Monday SUN papaer has a listing of all the girls and pix in their ad that are working there that week.
The Mag I work for also has a website for the adult industry which includes ALL aspects of it (ahem) but it is effective and gets a lot of hits.

Online www.knightmovesdallas.com
As well as indirectly on radio thru a Limo company that I provide entertainers for bachelor parties, that buys radio spots
Re: Where do you advertise (industry related business)
I dont think ours does... I did see them sponsor a puppy in a pet adoption mini newspaper once, but otherwise... I've never seen or heard of any ads for us. The website is still in its infancy and needs major updating.
Re: Where do you advertise (industry related business)
My home club was all word of mouth.
