Bad News is Good News By Robert Kiyosaki
Bad News is Good News By Robert Kiyosaki
The Quadrant I want to focus on for this article is the Investor Quadrant. Why focus on the I Quadrant? The reasons are because, today, most of us need to be investors and because the person who is successful in the I Quadrant is often very different from the people in other Quadrants.
Why is the person in the I Quadrant different? Because the true I is a person who looks for bad news, not good news. A true I, a person like Warren Buffet, is most excited when times are at their worst. When times are good, they move on – looking for bad news in other sectors, searching for bargains, investments with high value low prices, and a trend that is about to take an upward turn.

Also, it seems Robert is about to release another book.. this one for teens! Shame I found all of his books so late.. but better late than never right?
I like Robert because he teaches more about the philosopy you need to have for wealth than the actual steps. I have Ed Burton for the actual steps I need to pursue :-)

I like him too...have you tried his cashflow board game? My ex's dad had it. It sounds hokey, but it was the first thing that really drove home the basics of investing for me.
Re:Bad News is Good News By Robert Kiyosaki
Yes.. I invested the money to purchase that game awhile ago now. I like how I can play it by myself as I don't really know too many people to play that game with as it isn't like Monopoly (which no one takes seriously).
I take it seriously in a fun way.. I just try to reduce the time it takes me to "get out of the rat race". I was even thinking of purchasing Cashflow 202 - the addition to the game.
Re:Bad News is Good News By Robert Kiyosaki
Where can u get his game?? I read about it a while ago but haven't been able to find it! Thanks!

From his website https://secure.richdad.com/Default.asp
If you're not from the USA or Canada.. you'll also find places that sell it to your country from that store.
For Australians.. you have to buy the game thru Pow Wow @ http://www.powwowevents.com.au
The specific address for Australia:
http://powwowevents.com.au/site/1/bo...=1&batchsize=0
For Australians.. it isn't cheap at nearly $300. Therefore you must buy it if you are genuinely going to use it.. if you wanted to buy it cheaper try a search on ebay.
I found one copy (the auction ends just over 1 days time) for Australia... many copies available on the ebay.com (usa) site.

;D Financial Brain Teaser
The 'Rule of 72' is...
A- 9 x 8 = 72,
B- Every 72 months economies experience a period of huge growth,
C- If you divide 72 by an investment's annual rate of return, you'll get a rough estimate of the number of years it will take your investment to double in value,
D- 72% of all investments lose money?
I got the answer correct - which option will you choose?
;D Goals are Great… if they’re SMART Goals
We hear lots of talk about goals and goal setting… especially as one year draws to a close and we set our sights on the year ahead. Mid-year is a great time to take a hard look at the goals you’ve set for yourself – personal goals, family goals, career goals, health and fitness goals, financial goals… to name a few – and assess your progress and celebrate your wins.
