frankenboobs (WARNING Scary!)
ok here are some pics of my post-op naked breasts. they are sorta scary, but not really if stitches dont bother you......
these first few pics were taken on my camera phone (some difficulty with the other pics).....
the first one is my torso (tried to get it like in my avatar, but I am still wearing my bra sorta)
Re:frankenboobs (WARNING Scary!)
Wow,they do look better. The scars don't mean nothing right now.You look great!!!
Re:frankenboobs (WARNING Scary!)
LOL Ami.. Frankenboobs.. This title had me cracking up!

Re:frankenboobs (WARNING Scary!)
thanks otb.... and they are barly even scars yet, I still call them my inscicons or cuts, will be 2-3 more weeks before they start scaring.....
Re:frankenboobs (WARNING Scary!)
thanks rhia..... they are all stiched up so they remind me so the title worked nicely... :)
and yes its sooooo much nicer not haveing them sag all over my torso, that was so uncomfortable, I used to tuck my shirt up under them to relive that, (I hear some women get ulcers because of that sagging)......
Re:frankenboobs (WARNING Scary!)
They look perfect....an old ex of mine had a reduction....she was so much happier after she finally healed(about 6 months to be 100% back to normal)
I wouldnt worry about anything that looks weird now....just keep all the scar area's fully greased up with vitamin E oil ALL THE TIME.
Re:frankenboobs (WARNING Scary!)
They look great!!! The scars will fade so much - I've seen post op scar pics before and it's amazing!
When I breast-fed my son I had huge boobs and it was so uncomfortable - you just reminded me of it! I used to have to put deoderant under them in the summer and always wear a bra to stop the skin chaffing againt skin, so I know what you mean!
Re:frankenboobs (WARNING Scary!)
They look great! The scars will fade. Rest those boobies! ;D
Re:frankenboobs (WARNING Scary!)
What a relief for you, huh?
They look great! Make sure you take really good care of them now...had a friend who didn't take care of hers and she ended up having all kinds of problems with infections...which only made the healing process more painful and last twice as long...
Congrats!!

Re:frankenboobs (WARNING Scary!)
They look really good. congrats.
Re:frankenboobs (WARNING Scary!)
Your doc did a wonderful job - they look great! I've heard dermabrasion can help with scars, and I've seen this to improve peri-areolar scars:

Mederma or Vitamin E can't hurt, either. Again, you look fantastic!
Re:frankenboobs (WARNING Scary!)
thanks everyone......
aussiepunkshocker: sucks doesnt it? I hate that chaffing thing, but now they are all perky ;D, I dont even have to pick them up to put them in a bra anymore.....
venus: how did she get infected? there are really no open wounds anymore. and they put on neosporian when they removed the stitches. I have just been washing them every couple of days, I am scared to put anything on them......
adina: the link you gave went to a Micropigmentation/repigmentation page. I dont think that would work on me since my skin is so light anyway....
my boss suggested that i use the regular gel neosprain now to prevent scars, but its not really an open wound right now. the left nipple is really closed up nicely, and the right has a decent scab over the one part, so I dont really see how that will work..... I think once its preaty well healed up (mid sep or so) I will get some of that silicone stuff to use on it, I just want some that doesnt have adhesive like the neosporain scar soultion since I have a problem with adhesives, and one that doesnt cost too much like the rejuveness stuff......

Wow! They are gorgeous! Really purty! I can see past the stitches and incisions and those pups are going to be TO DIE FOR! Congratulations!
Re:frankenboobs (WARNING Scary!)
thanks Brooke, I just think its nice haveing perky breasts again. my husband seems to say the same thing you said, and that was the first time he saw them when they were worse then that. the above pics were taken on day 15 so they had some time to heal, and there arent any tubes in that pic.....
Re:frankenboobs (WARNING Scary!)
wow, they are going to look perfect now!!!
So gad you got the surgery and it was PAID FOR!!! WOO HOO
Re:frankenboobs (WARNING Scary!)
Congrats Ami ! I love your perky boobs, they're so sexy !
Be sure to take care of yourself.
Re:frankenboobs (WARNING Scary!)
Thank goodness. I was afraid there were going to be bolts coming out of them. LOL
Re:frankenboobs (WARNING Scary!)
They really do look great! You must have had a areola reduction also, judging by your avatar. If so, let us know if you loose or have lost any nipple sensation.
At some point in the future, after I have my implants removed, I'm going to want to get a lift, but I'm really scared about loosing sensation with an incision that goes completely around the areola. (I had an areola incision with my first BA, and I lost some sensitivity on my left side, but most of the feeling returned within a year. Even so, it's only about 95% returned.)
Re:frankenboobs (WARNING Scary!)
nope no bolts, just lots of cuts and stitches (although I got the rest of them removed today, the stitches not the cuts :D)
yeah the areaolas were reduced slitly, however my nipples were never compleatly removed, they had thier blood and nerves intact the whole time. right now I can feel them, even when I touch them through my shirt, I am actually kinda afraid of hypersensitivity. I have been able to feel them since I first tested a few days after surgery. I would like to note though that this tends to be the trend with me. (warning, kinda gross story, no details) I had my little toe cut off when I was a child, they reatached it some 6-10 hours later. it also had not had its main blood supply severed (although the bone was cut), they told me I would prolly loose sensation in it. however, now it is much more sensitive then all 9 of my other toes. and more flexible to boot.
I do hear that there is a chance of loss of sensitivity, I also hear that it useually comes back in anywhere from sevral weeks to a year. on the other hand some people get hyper sensitive, and still others have no change.
since you lost some sensation last time there is prolly a chance that you will next time too (this is just my guess). but since it came back last time, it would most likely come back next time. just make sure to get a good doctor and take your vitamins. (vit B helps with nerves, also increases pain tolerence, not to mention blood flow)......
