the return of FRANKENBOOBS (rated R)
the return of FRANKENBOOBS
rated R
for
grossness
and mild nudity
[hr]
ok, I am getting a little carried away with the title. but here are the rest of the pic I had to get off my camera. they consist of before, marked, day 8 (with tape, tubes, and blood), and day 14 (with some stiches). I might add some later since today is day 20 and I got all my stiches out yesterday.
and for refrence I am 23, I weighed aprox 129lbs before surgery, I wore a 34DD bra.
My measurements were: 39"over breasts, 29"under (around ribs), 28" waist, 38"hips. I am about 5'5" or so.
i had my surgery on august 4th of 2004, between 11am and 1pm.
I just put together a collage of before pics to give you an idea, they were taken in feb, march, and july of 2004....

Re:the return of FRANKENBOOBS (rated R)
here are my breasts marked....
the bottom right pic is a guess at what they would look like after.
the dot near my neck is a refrance point for my nipples.
-
Re:the return of FRANKENBOOBS (rated R)
ok, now the gross ones.....
this is my breasts on day 8. the day before I got my tape, tubes (ON-Q system http://www.askyoursurgeon.com/onqsolution.php), and a few stiches removed....
-
Re:the return of FRANKENBOOBS (rated R)
day 8 still, right side....
the red arrow points to the on-Q tube.
the green arrow points to where the tape holding the tube was (I took it off because it itched), it had marked me, and eventually formed a scab
-
Re:the return of FRANKENBOOBS (rated R)
day 8
you can see the bruising
-
Re:the return of FRANKENBOOBS (rated R)
day 14
left nipple and breast, only minor bruising....
the blue arrows are just the residue left from the adhesive. I was scared to scrub too hard to get them off...
the green arrows point to more paper tape problems
-
Re:the return of FRANKENBOOBS (rated R)
day 14
green = more tape marks
red is the place where the on-q tube was
where the vertical meets the creasent (near the green arrow), its not as bad as it looks in that pic, my skin was just peeling, well it still is...
-
Re:the return of FRANKENBOOBS (rated R)
day 14
my right nipple
you can see better in this pic where my doctor tried to remove the stich (day 9) but it didnt work too well and he just left it. he did remove it succsesfully on day 19, (yesterday)

Re:the return of FRANKENBOOBS (rated R)
OH Ami thanks for sharing! Did you have much pain?
Pamela

Re:the return of FRANKENBOOBS (rated R)
thats awesome that you documented it like that....probably will help a lot of people.
Have you lost any feeling/sensitivity in your nipples? or is it too early too tell?
-
Re:the return of FRANKENBOOBS (rated R)
I didnt really have much pain at first. I do think the on-q helped though, as well as the loritabs. I am starting to detest those stupid pills though, they made my face numb and my nose itched. as well as I started getting sick from them....
but no, not much pain, some people compare it to the tenderness that some get before thier period. they made me use the 0-10 rating system at the hospital, in revovery I told them 6, with much nausea. after I was compleatly awake (about 5-6 hours out of surgery) it was down to about 3, by the next morning it was .5 on my breasts, 1 on my iv. I did not use the push-button-pain-killer at all (demerol), which one nurse was surprised at, the others were pissed. it hurt like a bitch when they took out my drainage tubes the morning after surgery, I requested some pain killer then, they gave me perks. the on-q tube removal felt like pulling a hair through your lips. it was werid, but didnt hurt. the iv hurt, but not as much as the drainage tubes, and a lot more then the on-q tubes. I didnt want to take off my bra for the first week. I had to though to wash it and take a shower. the bad parts about that were: the compression felt good, free was bad. and they were leaking a bit at the seams so they would get stuck to my bra and that made it funny to take off, the first time I couldnt do it at all, I had to have my husband do it very slowly. the first stich removal on day 9 hurt really really bad, I kept screaming and growling at the doctor, then the thing happend to my right nipple and he decided to stop and wait for more healing, the 2nd removal (day 19), hurt at times, but not any where close to as bad as the first time....
really it was more of a loss of movement then pain, but if I had tried to move normally I would have been in pain. any jolt that would bouce my breasts hurt for about 4 or 5 days. I had to sit down very carefully, walk very slowly and without bounce. it kinda sucked, but not that bad..... today (day 20) I feel some tenderness from the stich removal yesterday. and there are occasinal shots of pain, i hear this is normal.
I dont think I will lose any sensitivity, infact I think I might be hypersensitive now, which is just as bad if not worse. my nipples were never compleatly removed from thier blood supply or nerves. I can feel them through my shirt even. but it is kinda early now, my breasts still will settle in over the next 6 months to a year.
before my surgery I did a lot of research, and I couldnt find much in the way of pics. if I did find a pic it was a doctors pic and there was a before and an after from 4 weeks to 14 months later, no in-betweens, no right after, no timeline. I would put up a whole ami's br site, but its hard to find a free host that will allow naked breast pis, and gross ones at that, plus doing all that html is a lot of work. but we at sw dont seem to mind topless pics. ;D and hopefully someone will find this info useful.....

Re:the return of FRANKENBOOBS (rated R)
it's looking really good. You must heal fast huh? have you accidently end up waking up on your stomach after a good sleep OUch!!! I am a fellow breast lift/reduction patient so I feel your pain or know it very well. Keep up the good healing.
-
Re:the return of FRANKENBOOBS (rated R)
I dont think its healed that fast, but it does look preaty good for only 3 weeks. I never really slept on my sleep anyway so that hasnt hapend yet, I do on purpous sleep like this / kinda on my side but kinda on my stomach, been doing that for some time now...... really they dont hurt all that much. my husband even lay back on me the other day and rested his head on one without thinking and then relized it and asked if he should move, but it didnt hurt, not really anyway. today I even ran a little on accident. they feel weird sometimes, and occasinally I get shooting pains, but thats about it. I prolly could lay on my stomache, but I am kinda scared to right now.....
anyway updated pics:
these are from yesterday, day 20, they are shiny because I put vitamin E oil on them.

Wow Ami, they look GREAT!!!!
You must be happy with the results, right? wow!

Re:the return of FRANKENBOOBS (rated R)
Wow Ami! You look great!!!!
I have a local friend who went through the same process over 2 years ago, and your scarring after 20 days looks substantially better than hers after 2 years. That's one talented surgeon you've found there!
I also can't express how happy she has been since her reduction. She can finally SHOP tops, dresses and outfits at just about anywhere. Her wardrobe capability has improved 4x, and she can hit thrift stores now and comfortably "fit" so much nicer summer fashions... it's just been a godsend for her.
I'm so happy for you ami! Congratulations on your really super-duper reduction! You look fantastic!

Re:the return of FRANKENBOOBS (rated R)
thanks,
I really like how perky they are. I watched discovery health's plastic surgery before and after the other day. they had a girl on there that went from a 34F, to a 34C, and my after looks better then hers! her after just didnt seem as perky.
I really would like for the scars to not look so red, but I know its only been 3 weeks and they should go down a lot... I have been keeping them absoulutly drenched in my lotion since tuesday (the day after the last stiches came out) and my breasts are sooooo soft :D.....

Re:the return of FRANKENBOOBS (rated R)
I think they are healing beautifully!! Are you going to use the silcone sheeting for the scars?

Re:the return of FRANKENBOOBS (rated R)
Wow, they did such a great job on ya! They are healing perfect! :highfive:
-
Re:the return of FRANKENBOOBS (rated R)
thanks,
I was gonna use the silicone, but I cant find any that I can afford and doesnt have adhesive...... so I am just smothering them with my vitamin a and e lotion, and occasinally some vitamin e oil....

Beautiful, Ami! I had my areoli reduced, and they are about your size with C/D breasts. Isn't plastic surgery great? I'm very pleased with my results--I have scarring, but I'd much rather scars than misshapen breasts. And the scars aren't that bad, so. Yours came out gorgeous. It's probaly easier to move around and stuff, too. Enjoy your new boobs! :boobies:
