most strippers say they wouldn't date a customer. Im just curious.
It's highly unusual but my latest guy I met in the club while I was working. This was 3 years ago.
It's a respect issue. We don't want to have that thrown in our faces one day in the heat of an argument.
how can you throw it in someones face. they say something about you dancing, you can easily make them feel worse for being the desperate moron giving them tips. A semi intelligent man knows you dont try to put a woman down. They will always win that argument.Quote:

It's that whole, "don't sh*t where you eat" thing.
Wow,what can I say other than I agree whole heartedly with you.Quote:

If they're telling you that as you're trying to ask them out, that's just their way of 'letting you down easy'.
However, for most women who specifically say they'd never date a customer of their bar, it's a respect issue: They can't respect a guy they see as desperate enough to have to pay for feminine attention.
these were people i was friend with telling me how they would never date a customer. not someone i have asked out. who would ever reject me. LOL j/k
I'm confused... Does that mean ...Quote:

Don't shit in your mouth,
Don't eat someone's asshole,
Don't shit in the kitchen,
Don't eat in the bathroom,
???
Strippers won't date someone who's breath smells like shit.
Strippers won't date someone who eats in the bathroom
Strippers won't date an asshole.
?????
This is too codified for me....
Some dancers, they wouldn't date customers because yeah, they see them as desperate. Some wouldn't because becoming romantically involved means losing a regular, ie, money. Some won't because a customer has only known the 'stripper you' and not yourself - a lot of girls lie about themselves, you can't become close to someone you've lied about yourself to [at least, it is a lot more difficult]. All depends.
I'd have to agree with this reason which is one you'll hear in just about any workplace (not just strip clubs), etc. I had one friend, even back in college, who wouldn't date guys that were in the same class as her. "It would create too much drama, " she used to say. It's just the way it is sometimes.Quote:

but myself
my parents
my grandparents,both sides.
I have to agree. I won't date girls in my program at school...though considering my relatively recent dry spell and a lingering attraction to one particular young lady, I may break my personal rule.Quote:

I've been married for 10 1/2 years to a previous customer.
Total bliss!
We both respect each other for being "individuals."
Don't knock something unless you try it. You may end up being surprised. ;)
Damn!Go head with your bad self!Quote:

And would you agree that the odds are stacked against something like this working?(from the amount of relationships like this that you have seen)
Did you meet him in the club you worked at?
Im not doubting you,and I really wish you the best, but i gotta tell ya,your a rare case.(a welcomed rarity IMO)
Are you still working in a club???

Actually, this is my third marriage. The first two lasted a a couple of years a piece, at the most. And occured when I was 18 and 22. I married this last time at the age of 30.
Yes, I do know a few others ... interestingly. However, we're all in the "older" category. Thirty-five and above.
Yes, I would agree that the odds are stacked against anyone who doesn't believe it can happen. It takes a lot of confidence in yourself, your other half and your relationship.
I met him in a club I worked at ... he was a regular Sunday night customer for a few months before we even spoke. I always shot the shit with his friend. And never paid him any mind, actually.
I'm currently a 40 year old, stay at home mom to a six year old boy, I have a 21 year old daughter and a beautiful 7 month old grandson.
Since I am at home and not one to just sit around, I am making clothes for the girls in the local clubs and sell on the weekends. I also just expanded to the internet. :) I am in strip clubs every weekend, though.
I am actually a certified computer tech and hold two certifications. Why am I not doing that? Done that, found it boring.
Do I still dance? Yes! When I go to one particular club that I used to work at, my "home" if you will. I always get on stage.
Does this bother my husband? No! Why? Confidence in who we are together and as individuals. ;)
Well if i was 21 and my mom was a hot 40 yr old and could still get up and dance i would be the proudest son in the world while i was kicking the sh*t out of every guy checking my mom out LOL
