Here on the Gold Coast... it is the other way around.. the warmer months.. from July until around the middle of January is the best time.
Glad to hear it- I'll be in NZ Dec-Jan (Auckland and Queenstown), hopefully it is busy there then too.

It is really hard to pinpoint prosperous times in this business.
Fall may or may not be better where you are.
Our economy is iffy in many businesses. Department stores are struggling and many aren't offering the designer clothing selections as in the past.
Expense accounts are scrutinized now.
The Religious Right is making adult oriented businesses illegal and shameful for men of means to be seen in.
My summer months were about a B+ based on my average earnings.
A lot depends on how the club is run, if they are able to advertise, if the amount of dancers is held in check, AND how well you are able to develop a rapport with local customers. You need a fan club.
And you need realistic earnings expectations.
If you were to add up how much you averaged after tip outs for the entire year, can you find several clubs to work at where you can average that much on a regular basis.
I don't see this fall booming any more than the rest of the year. Sure more customers will hit the hot summer locations like the Southwest, but it doesn't cool off there until around Halloween so it still will be hit and miss for another 5-6 weeks and then busloads of girls will add to the customer/dancer ratio.
You just have to try out numerous clubs until you find a few that "fit you" well and where you develop some loyal customers, and make sure to keep in touch with those customers and are always fun to be around when they are around you.

Don't worry sweetie, things will get better. I have my ups and downs here in Florida also. Take the good with the bad... that's the industry. I have learned that when I have a shitty night, it will be made up for on another night and then some... ;)

Wow, I expeirence the exact opposite that most of you guys do, business wise. My busy season starts in May and gets slower and quieter the closer to february. My highest months are June, July August, and Sept.
My crappiest months are Jan-April.
weird? huh.
Re: Since the Fall is near will this mean better money?
Paris, things seem to be really weird in Oregon from what I've heard. Don't you guys make most of your money off the stage (and not so much in lap dances)? And aren't the majority of the clubs just bars with a stage?
Maybe that's the difference.
