Alrighty...
I bought these boots because they were a steal. Only thing is I am unsure if I can dance in them! Do any of you dance on stage and/or lap dance with these on? Any tips?
Thanks!

He he...Sorry the pic is so big, better luck next time!
I have a pair almost exactly like that. The platform and heel is higher and they are black but other than that they are the same. I LOVE them. They are more comfortable than any other pair of shoes/boots that I own. I dance both onstage and give lapdances in them. The only thing is that they take a little while to really break in.
Yeah, bring plenty of foot powder and make sure you take the boots off a couple times during the night and "de-sweat" your legs. :)
The boots are great...super sexy and more support on your ankles. :D
Ugh! "De-sweat" is right!!! There is nothing like spending time in sweat filled shoes. If you wear socks, it helps a little. And if you wear stockings... oooh double whammy there.Quote:

I would wear mine all the time if I could. I feel invinceable in them for some reason. Wear them around the house to get used to them and to break them in. You could always practice lap dances with them on in your home for a speacial someone....Then when you wear them in the club you know pretty much what to expect. Have fun!
I've worn thigh high boots the whole 7 years that I've danced. Nothing is better than my boots. Customers love them, they protect my legs from bruises, and they make me feel sexy. The sweaty legs and feet are the only down fall. But they're worth it.
Dr. Sholls (sp?) sells a really good foot powder. You can get it almost anywhere.
Amen. Watching you girls walk around in those platform heels--suicide shoes is what I call them--makes me uncomfortable, and I have total respect for anyone walking around for 8 hours in them.Quote:

That said, boots are hugely sexy.
Two cents.
I like the ones that are fitted, all the way up the leg. Boots are great for fair skinned gals who bruise easily (me) when doing floorwork on stage - I love 'em.
I three pair of thigh boots... one pair is made of that cool lycra material so you don't really sweat as you would in regular boots or in the boots you pictured. If you do heavy pole work you'll have to get use to wearing them and the material's friction against the pole. Doing lapdances most men aren't into them but you can always find a way to take them off that makes it look sexy.
I have a pair that I love! I don't do a whole lot of pole tricks with them because they can be a little clumsy with me. When I haven't been able to shave, they're really great. I feel I can dance a little longer in them too and guys LOVE the way they look! Something about that little bit of skin peeking out at the top. There is a problem with sweating at times but baby powder always does the trick. I don't like wearing any kind of sock or stocking with them either - helps me have a little more control over my feet so they don't slide.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE my thigh high boots! Better ankle support, better pole grip, sexy sexy look. I use knee high socks with them and the sweating isn't too bad, they're a little loose around the top so my legs do breathe some above the knee. The long socks helps with the sweat/odor. It takes a little getting used to doing certain moves in them, but it only took me a couple rounds on stage and I was fine. Bending your knees is a little more difficult until you have them broken in.
Oooooooh! The best part of wearing boots is you can put in the really nice jelly sole inserts so your feet are more comfy and slide less. It's as close to stripping in tennies you'll get!
While we're on the subject, do thigh high boots have to like, fit around your thighs? I've been thinking about buying a pair, but i'm super super skinny (like the bones poking out everywhere type of skinny) and have always had problems with boots being too loose around the tops. i feel like I'm 6 again, trying on my mom's dress shoes! (well, not quite). Do they make different sizes, or is there any way I can compensate for this that you guys have heard? :optimist:
the boots really rock with cut off jean shorts, years of enterainment tobe honest bout it, they went well years ago and still do..........
