Room full of people...and who to talk to?
Im very very curious about this (forgive me is this topic has ready been posted) ....I have worked many weekends and all that time I was wondering was "who do i talk to?" :boggled: Are there guys that you should approach over others? Is it the way they look, dress, with or without anyone...the smell of money JK. When I worked those busy Saturaday nights where that ONE girl was making 800-900 that nite where everyone else was making 300-500...I evied here so much but always wondered how she picked the GIANT WALLETS (for lack of better words)?????? :banghead: :thanx:
Re:Room full of people...and who to talk to?
i have one of those girls who work at my club too, she is the top money maker in our club, she has been there a while and even if there are 2 guys in the room she can get one to spend money on her like crazy, she is the one everyone wants to be.
Re:Room full of people...and who to talk to?
confidence. You have to "ooze" sexuality.
lol.. i guess?
Re:Room full of people...and who to talk to?
Okay, so I'm not a dancer, just a guy who spends a lot of money in SC's.
Who to talk to? Easy. When you walk out of the dressing room, STOP. Look around. Who is making (and keeping) eye contact with you? Smile at him. Walk over there, introduce yourself. Chat a bit (1 song tops, maybe 2). Ask him if he wants to go play. He will.
Lather. Rinse. Repeat as needed.

Re:Room full of people...and who to talk to?
to be fair, a lot of times he's not making eye contact. You have to make them catch your eye and see how he responds.
Anyway, I think certain girls know the customers because they've been there long enough or possibly have people that tip them off. This assumes all else being equal (looks, hustling ability, determination, what she is providing, etc.)....of course, we know these are not all equal among every girl
Re:Room full of people...and who to talk to?
Talking on a Saturday night? In a crowded club?
That is your first mistake.
Walk out with a sexy gait, swiveling hips, and confidence. Start with the first older single guy. Give him a line, a quick one, but something that says, let's dance NOW!
If you are hot, it won't take long for you to reel one in....
Also, don't be afraid of bachelor parties. Go right in and find out who the bachelor is, then point to one of his friends and inform him that he is buying his buddy the next dance.....always a good start. Bach parties are rowdy, but you usually are in and out of there quickly and they don't expect much mileage because they are going for quantity that night......
DO NOT hang out longer than 1 song with anyone. If there is money in the club, its up to you to get it!
My $.002

First off, Emily..LMFAO at your signature line.
Let me give an example of what I am talking about. At my main club, we have two blonde dancers, roughly equal body type (one a Latina with DD enhanced boobs, one a white chick with D-cup enhanced but more fitness-type). Both work the same shift. Both are similar in mileage as well (I know this first hand).
The Latina walks out of the dressing room, looks around, spots someone practically jumping out of their seat at her, sidles over, sits on his lap, and 1-2 songs later, she is gone to the nude or VIP room. She comes back out, same thing. Again and again. Always personable, always moving, always making each guy she is with feel like he is the only reason she worked that evening. At the end of the night, she always has at least 60-75 nude laps (@ $40/song) on her dance check-off sheet (yes, I do see those from the floaters).
The other blonde comes out of the dressing room, chats with the DJ for up to 15 minutes, goes back into the dressing room, comes out and walks like a robot past people firing flares at her. No eye contact, walks right by at least 15 people who would probably buy a lap from her, if only she acknowledged their existence. She'll pick a guy sitting in one of two spots on the floor; if he says no, she'll continue her circle of the club, ignoring everyone else, and go take her spot on the fireplace, talking to the other girls there. Then she'll go back in the dressing room. End of the night, maybe 20-30 laps, mix of nude and topless. I've known her to complain to some of my regular dancers how she doesn't make money and the club is dead (even though you can't find a seat).
Guys go to nude clubs for the laps...they have to because no alcohol is served (at least in California). If you don't look for customers, then you ain't gonna find any. It's really as simple as that, all other things being equal.

Re:Room full of people...and who to talk to?
So this formula is just as 1-2 limit + flirty convo + flirty touches + asking for the sale = MONEY???? wow i didnt know it was that easy? Thanks for who replied so far. The bach party guys are cool just hard to break up when their in a groups... i know theres a separate topic on that one. Yea I could say one thing is in CA theres no need to limit youself to WHO to talk to.
Re:Room full of people...and who to talk to?
First - My regulars
Second - Those making eye contact
Third - I believe in the "Shoe" theory..(8 out of 10, this is true)
Fourth - I talk to everyone and hustle my ass off!
Re:Room full of people...and who to talk to?
Don't leave ANYONE out. If you only appoach the guys in the suits and ties you will be missing out on a whole lot of money. My club runs about 40-50 girls on weekend, I average about 700/night. I will talk to every single guy in there if I can. Just b/c a guy looks like he has money doesnt mean he will spend it. One of the guys I have made the most $$$ off of (around $650 in 45 minutes!!!) was a nasty looking dirty stained smelly old man who happened to be in town to invest a mil. in one of his friends oil companies just to help him out. A lot of guys will save up for several months to have a couple of hundred dollars to spend at the club but they cant get anyone to come over. Talk to everybody.

Whats the "Shoe" theory?
Re:Room full of people...and who to talk to?
1. Chat for 2 minutes.
2. Flirt.
3. Get a dance.
4. Milk for as many dances as possible.
5. Repeat.
6. If customer says no, do numbers 1-5.
Re:Room full of people...and who to talk to?
Exotica, LOL - that's great..
Stripperella, the "shoe theory" is that for as long as I have been dancing, certain shoes tell quite a bit about a man's wallet and or spending ability.. Many dancers I know also swear by this.. For instance, I find that the one wearing sandals/flip flops tend to spend a great deal of cash quickly and that of the leather business dress shoes. I find that the guys who are wearing boots/ragged out running shoes tend to be tight wads.. That is how it usually is at my club anyway. Other clubs may have a different shoe chart..LOL ;D
Re:Room full of people...and who to talk to?
Ive never heard of that "shoe" thoery....now I have something to look down for.....a scenario such as walk up, look at shoes, look in eyes, look at shoes again...goood shoes stay and bad shoes leave...jk though.:)
Re:Room full of people...and who to talk to?
Hmmm, the shoes theory is something to try!
Re:Room full of people...and who to talk to?
I guess your question is who to talk to *first? * Start with the obvious and work down from the there...the shoe theory sounds good..I'll have to try it. If you keep getting turned down, just keep trying though. Talk to every guy if you have to, you can always be surprised. Guys I've thought weren't my "type" of customer have bought from me. Once a guy was actually scowling at me. I was almost a little scared to walk up to him, but when I did he bought a dance right away, then another right after it. You never know.
If you do ask every guy, though, don't go from one table to the next. Stagger it out, so every guy feels like you're approaching just him. Do a table on one side of the club, then a table on the other side, then go to to the dressing room or bathroom for a second, then try another table... keep moving so they can see you! You're like a billboard for yourself.
