one of my favorite slow songs to dance to is "fade into you" by mazzie star. for some reason it puts me in a sexy mood.
Love Bites-def leppard, she talks to angels-black crows, do you love me-nick cave, close my eyes 4-ever-lita&ozzy, all time fave "Rosanna" by toto...overdone I know, but the beat for my style works oh so well...I know there's a bunch more, I'll post them when they come to me
sounds wayy too hard!
i always dance extra fast!
I don't normally dance to slow songs, but a couple I like that I've seen done well are #1 Crush by Garbage and Addict by K's Choice.
You can leave your hat on by Joe Cocker.
Stripping is SUPPOSED to be slow and sensual. One of the biggest mistakes newbies make is confusing club dancing with stripping. If you're stripping FAST ..it's usually because you're nervous. Oh ...yeah Stripping FAST usually equals LESS MONEY.
I disagree. Lap dances are supposed to be slow and sensual. The stage show is supposed to be an attention-grabbing performance, however you manage that.Quote:

Stripping = Dancing. OMG yes .. playing all slow songs would be soooo boring ...just like playing ALL FAST SONGS is soooo Boring. Ya gotta MIX it up. Variety is the opposite of Boring. My line from the booth whenever we play 2 slow songs back to back is ... "Pass out the pillows and blankets ....here comes another ballad".
The most effective STAGE technique I have seen is the Swoon and Swoosh. Dance FAST around the stage until you choose the next guy you're going to dance in front of...... then Slooooooooow dance for him ......then Swooooosh away to the next guy. Unfortunately many dancers can't change their tempo like this.
knockin boots by h-town
black by pearl jam.....sexy sexy sexy song

Great songs suggested! I find that the songs you choose should be somthing the customers want to hear too, and super slow songs like Fade Into You, are good here and there, but customers will walk out if there's no energy in the club.
Some good slow but hard songs I like are:
Type O Negative-Summer Breeze,
Type O Negative-Love You To Death,
Deftones-Be Quiet and Drive,
Deftones-Digital Bath,
Deftones-Passenger,
A Perfect Circle-Orestes,
Alice In Chains-Would,
Led Zeppelin-Kashmir
These songs all have the benefit of being slower, more sensual, easy to dance slowly to, yet, hard enough to keep the customers awake, and for you to be able to be versatile if you feel like it. Hope it helps!
Thanx Az i'm always looking for new songs and I didn't knew most of the ones you posted . I downloaded them and they are all good !
slow songs are great. I love a perfect circle, enya, whatever my genius dj comes up with. I prefer slow to fast because it allows me to be sexier rather than spinning by in a whirl wind. I also dance to frank sinatra and i do his fast songs...
