Your first
After seeing a dancer I know in a men's magazine this month, I got to reminiscing about the first couch dance I ever had (yes it was this same person) and what brought me in there to begin with and what made me hooked on this SC thing.
I also wondered what got others going to begin with and made you keep going back.
This was all about 4-5 years ago
Being the shy person that I was I thought hanging out in a place where I could meet and talk with attractive women in various states of undress would be a good thing. I must have looked out of place being by myself, not really knowing the etiquette, and not even drinking. It was early in the night and was a bit slow. I hadn't been there to long with this nice young lady asked if she could sit with me. Sure. I was still kind of watching the stage and trying to say a few words to her, but not really being good at small talk I didn't know what to say. She didn't seem to know what to do either and there were very long pauses between whatever comments were made. She even asked if I wanted a dance and I said "Not right now" (I know, how could I). After some unknown amount of time she excused herself because she was due up on stage. This wasn't even a line because the next girl up was her.
This is when everything changed.
Once she was up there dancing and in the moment she seemed like a totally different person. She really lit the place up (or at least for me she did). My first thought was "Wow, this is the same girl that was just sitting with me. How could I have said no to her". I also have to admit that this time on stage was the first time I had seen her without the clothes. Needless to say I went up there and tipped. I actually left that night without getting a dance. I really hadn't taken much money with since I didn't know what these places were like. I told her I would be back.
Go forward about a month or so when I went back and she was there. I didn't know it at first since I found out by her being called on stage. I think I almost sprinted to that front row. I was there before she even set foot on the stage. She smiled as soon as she saw me (good thing) and after doing some of her moves and dance she came to me for her first tip. She said, "hi Ken" (not my name, ouch!! :-/)
I must of had that hurt look on my face, because she started apologizing right away and actually remembered what it was on the second try. I asked to come over when she got a chance. She did and we talked (actually talked this time) for a while. I told her the other time was my first time and asked about the dances. I did get a dance that night, but only one (I really didn't have the money to be going in). She had the sweetest voice, softest touch, and really made me feel like the time I was with her that I was all that mattered.
I was Hooked on a dancer and it was my first time. (Sounds like the start of a PL anonymous meeting)

Re: Your first
The first time that I ever got a couch dance was the first time that I ever went to a strip club. This was many years ago. I went out with a couple of friends one night and later, for some reason, we decided to go to a club.
We sat at a table and eventually dancers started coming over to us. I wasn't expecting dancers to talk to us. When the waitress asked me if I wanted to buy a dancer a drink, I think I just said yes to be polite. I didn't know what was going on, but my friends were laughing. This was also the first time that I heard NIN's "Closer" (and now I hear it all the time :) )
The dancer asked me to sit with her at a couch where it was quieter and I agreed. I thought she was attractive, but she kept on doing some kind of "act". She kept on giggling and speaking in a girlish voice, which kind of bothered me. Eventually she started talking normally to me, and I found out that she was new to the club as well. She offered to dance for me, and I really didn't know that's what happened in the club. Anyways ... a few bucks later, I enjoyed the dance, but I was so surprised at everything during it that I was shaking. At one point, she stopped and asked me if I was on drugs. :-[
Anyways, I did enjoy the experience, but it wasn't enough to make go the clubs regularly. I didn't go to another club for a few years after that. But, I've never forgotten that night. :)

Re: Your first
My first strip club visit was nothing memorable, it certainly didn't keep me coming back for more at the that time, as a matter of fact it was much later that I started visiting SC's on a regular basis. I must have been in my mid 20's (I'm now in my mid 30's) and was with some friends looking for something to do, we all decided on a strip club visit, we ended up at some dive, LOL I don't know how we decided on this place, it had a stage on one side and a theatre on the other side showing porn, we sat stage side for a bit while one over-the-hill dancer after the next would get up on stage and earn our $1 tips, we didn't get any dances, we didn't really didn't even know about them and were underwhelmed by the talent anyways. After a bit we went to the other side of the place (the theatre) and watched some of the porn that was playing, we were a bit apprehensive about sitting for long as the floor seemed a bit sticky. All in all this visit creeped me out more than anything, fortunately I later visited some real strip clubs and got hooked, but you never forget the first do you?

Re: Your first
My first visit was 30 years ago. A bunch of us went to the Combat Zone in Boston after a Red sox game. I was pretty well buzzed when I got there and hooked up with an older lady who I thought was beautiful ( my freinds told me later that she was a dog and old enough to be my mother)
We sat at a booth having a drink and somehow the conversaton turned to pets. I told her about my dog (actually my K9 partner) She told me she had a cat that had short kinky hair and she always has it with her and asked if I wanted to pet it :o I was so Fu***** buzzed I had no idea what she was talking about. :-/ Before things could go any further, my freinds came a rescued me and got me the hell out of there.
You're right RH, you never forget your first visit! LMAO

Re: Your first
Two questions to add on here.
1. If your first experience wasnt the best, what made you go back for more (beside the obvious lure, or is that all it took).
2. This is for the dancers who may read this. Can you read us well enough to tell we were new at this? And did you treat us differently?

Re: Your first
My first experience was a bad one. For spring break one year in college my friends and I went to New Orleans. One night out on Bourbon Street we were all pretty drunk and a doorman talked us into coming in. All I remember was seeing one dancer on stage that looked like she was about 14 years old. She was very timid and looked like she was almost in tears. As soon as she got off stage she went to a table and started crying for real. My friends and I got a feeling we were in a bad place and left.
I was still in college when I made my 2nd trip. It was better. We had gone to Atlanta for the weekend. The hotel was next to a club called Boomers. Again I don't remember much of details, but looking back on it I think that is when a became a SCJ.
Once I got out of college my friends were not really into going into SC so my SCJ tendencies laid dormant for a few years. I had wanted to go to a club solo for a while, but I was afraid to try it( What would I say if I ran into someone I knew ?)
Eventually I made the decision to go out to a club by myself while out of town on a business trip. That trip blew my mind. I went to a club in SC that had one side nude and one side had a bar and topless. I know I must really have stuck out at that club. It was a blue collar club and I was dressed up. I was so nervous just setting there. I probably drank 3 beers in the first 15 mins. I was hoping to stay away from any attention. I just wanted to watch the stage. Of course before long I was approached by not one, but two dancers at the same time. I was terrified and probably could not carry on much of a conversation. The dancers were very kind and I think were amused by my naivety. That night I will never forget. I got my first heavy contact lds. I ended up spending a lot more money than I had planned, but I was well taken care of. Although the could have taken advantage of the newbie, I don't think they did.
From that time on I would try to make excuses to go back to that city. I still remember the original dancers and actually followed one them to 2 other clubs.

Re: Your first
It was about ten years ago. While on vacation I picked up one of those coupon books and low and behold there was a coupon for free admission. I'm all about free so I had to go see what this was all about. I fumbled my way to the stage and sat down. There were all these lovely women running around topless, I said to myself YES somebody up there likes me. Anyway this brunette with the longest tan legs came over to me and smiled and asked my name.. She had a tee shirt on over her school teacher outfit and said if I got a dance I could take the shirt off her back and keep it. I was hooked:)

Re: Your first
LMAO EH I love your stories...condensed but the point gets across LOL
My first was in a tittie bar in Indianapolis. Many of those bars are known for great mileage. I got talked into going by a friend of mine. Dummy me had no idea what I was getting myself into. A couple hours later I staggered out of the VIP room..sore..poorer..but hooked for life. That young lady made a lot of money off me until I met my ex ATF

Re: Your first
I had been involved with dance for 2 years prior to my first LD. I didn't even know what one was. I lived in Mass. and things were even tamer then than they are now. I just knew the one rule "You touch, you leave!" That didn't sound like a nice place to be, so I didn't! I didnt have the money to do much of anything in terms of exploring during that time.
Then a friend who enough money to do any kind of dance all the time, introduced me to Providence. He still apologizes jokingly to this day about it, because it was teh beginning of the "kid in the candy store" syndrome.
And I walked into the club and I couldn't believe the place!! Incredibly hot girls paraded in front of you and for a couple of bucks they grind on you after they were done with their sets on stage. And as soon as one was done, there was another! OH...MY...GAWD! Let's see now, what if I didn't put the kids through school or pay the mortgage...lol! :P :P :P :P [devil] [devil] [boobies] [frustrated] [frustrated]
My first dance was with a tiny little brunette cutie, who was giggly and full of play and you could touch and you could touch and you could touch and rub her butt and she didnt care how hard she ground aginast you and you could help her do it...lol.
And then reality sets in, shit! Fort Knox doesnt have enuf for as long as I want to do this and I ain't Fort Knox.
And then I started to make a few bucks....

Re: Your first
The first club that I went to (about nine years ago) was very uninspiring (although it felt kind of strange to be looking at the breasts of women who weren't my SO). There were three girls on shift, not a one above a '7" and after buying a drink I tipped them a dollar each. So my first club trip ever, I ended up spending only $6. The girls quit dancing here at 8:00, so I had to go to another club. Probably spent about $12 there, cover included. God how times have changed monetarily.
I had a co-worker who had recently gone down to a club in Topeka, KS with some of his buddies to get these things called "lap dances" since there were no clubs in Nebraska offering them. I didn't quite get the concept from his explanation, so a few days after Christmas, I drove two hours to check it out myself.
It was like a whole different world at this club. 25 gals on shift, as opposed to the usual 4-5 back home, and girls walking over every five minutes asking if I'd like a dance. It was very ego stroking to say the least. My first one was with a brunette named Nicole who was only about a '7' but wow could she grind! I had about six dances that evening and decided that this was where I was coming on spring break next year.
...and as Paul Harvey would say, now you know the rest of the story.
