Two things I don't understand...
I had a guy spending mad money on me last night.(thought of fishnet while I was with him actually LOL)
Well, at one point, he wanted to just social dance... not dirty dance, just kinda like you do in the 8th- 9th gade dancing... closer than an arms length away, but not grinding away either. There was nobody else downstairs so I figured, what the hell? It was fun and different, but I noticed the bouncer shaking his head at one point. Later, he wanted to social dance again, but this time there were two other couples down there with s and I said, let me just check and make sure it's ok. So I asked and was told it was not a legal thing because it's too much like dry humping and the name of the dances are table dances... the guy needs to be sitting down during them. I was like... ??? [what] Tell me it's too distracting to the other dances taking place or something along that line, but it's too much like dry humping? :o I don't get it.... does he know what we do during a table dance?(which does not,by the way, take place on a table)!
I don't get these rules... can anybody help me out?

Re: Two things I don't understand...
Ah, Amber, you're finally figuring out the absurdity of those SC rules which we all know and "love"!!!! [idea]
Of course those rules are absurd! Just as absurd as the fact that people say it's ok to basically dry hump in a chair for a lapdance but not ok to kiss. Or that it's ok to rub yourself all over someone and do fake moaning, but no ok to enjoy yourself! Or, that it's ok to kiss/lick/suck fellow dancers but not ok to do the same to customers. Or that it's ok to dry hump as long as you have one foot on the floor. Etc etc etc.
There are a lot of rules like these. A lot of them seem like they were invented by a schoolmarmish "rules fairy", or perhaps if you want to be negative about it, "rules witch". But that's just what you have to deal with. It's like dating "boundaries", or how short your shorts can be in junior high school. It's all the same.
However, not much we can do about em! Da rules is da rules! ;D

Re: Two things I don't understand...
Amber,
Have a talk with your manager. You'll find that most, if not all, of the rules that you find confusing have been implemented to satisfy particular local ordinances.
If a "table dance" is defined as a dance given while the patron is seated at a table, the club can define how how close the table has to be to the seat. If the Patron is standing, then hecannot be seated at the table, no matter how close the table is.
And so on...

Re: Two things I don't understand...
One phrase for you that can describe why you (personaly or the club in general) may be having troubles- illegal contact.
Are there any local elections coming up within the next year- year and a half ? This has a dramatic effect on enforcement of local ordinaces
Generaly table dances are no contact and laps are contact. Your bouncer telling you they suppossed to be table dances indicates that technically there should be no contact involved.
I realize from your posts that all/most the dancers do contact, I am not singling you out.
However you've mention that you are being singled out at work by others- sounds like its time to take stock of what contact you are or may be giving that others are not.......
Yes most of these laws and/or rules seem absurd on some level however not following them can get you fired or worse arrested.
The only way to fight these things is to follow your local politics and VOTE.
Do you know the state and local laws? You can't rely on the club or other dancer to give you the correct info either.
Call the police department and tell them you are new in town and a dancer and need to know the laws in regards to exotic dancing.
If your dances are legit you'll have the info to back that up when questioned by persons at the club.
If they aren't you'll have the proper info to get them legit if you choose.
There is no harm in finding out for yourself whats legal and whats not- only benifit. Good Luck.

Re: Two things I don't understand...
Yes, I remember you said the rules were posted, including "no mouths to private areas" and " no peeing in the wastebasket," among others. Doesn't seem that you have violated the rules at all, and it also sounds like it's OK for a man to touch your breasts if the two of you agree. Otherwise it would say no "touching private areas." Get a clarification of this. Maybe from the police department, but for sure from the manager to keep the other girls at bay. And I'd guess the man is supposed to sit down during your dances, although clarification on this from the manager would also be a good idea, just so you know and can tell your customers.

Re: Two things I don't understand...
Who is getting upset when customers touch your boobs? Bouncers? Managers? Other girls? Do they also get upset when it happens with other dancers? If so, it's a rule of the club and you should abide by it. Some rules are stupid but we have to follow them just the same. Concerning other girls, I responded to your thread called 'They want me out' with similar comments I'd make here. Don't sweat it too much. Besides, if the other girls get too out of hand, you can always move to a bigger club where you'll have less of that to deal with. I suspect you'd be successful anywhere you want to go.
As for the table dance thing, most clubs/managers don't want that going on inside the club. They generally say it brings too much potential for 'out-of-control' behaviour or causing a scene or whatever, but the main thing is, most of them just want an 'orderly' environment where the guys sit and the girls dance. If anyone breaks that mold, they're causing a scene, getting too wild, etc, and it's just unacceptable. It's a stupid rule, but it's virtually universal in the clubs.

Re: Two things I don't understand...
Amber, there used to be a strip club about 20 miles south of yours that offered "sweetheart dances" like what you described.... Nipple munching and boob touching are probably the two most common consensual acts of rule breaking in contact clubs. If they weren't against the rules, they wouldn't be as much fun. Risk-taking is a BIG turn-on. Outside the club, some dancers have to make believe the bouncer is watching.
-
Re: Two things I don't understand...
i disagree sporty. i personally dont like the risk...i enjoy boob touching a lot more at GGR than i do at providence clubs, because i can enjoy it without worrying about getting myself or the dancer in trouble.
-
Re: Two things I don't understand...
Come on, Sandy. If it's consensual, the worst you get is "watch your hands" from a bouncer who lives off her tips.
-
Re: Two things I don't understand...
Amber if that girl says anything else to you, just smile ever so sweetly and tell you're so sorry, you didn't know it was against the rules since customers get to play with other girls' boobs so much! Stupid jealous bitches! ;)

that would be the worst case scenerio IF breast contact were legal- which in many many areas it is NOT.
worst case scenerio would be more likely getting yourself and the dancer arrested and possibly the club shut down causing everyone to be out of a job, all investors losing their money, manager, owners being refused liquor and cabaret licenses for any future business and so on......
So a risking all that is whats fun huh?
sick, cruel and selfish is more like it.

Re: Two things I don't understand...
ok mike, thats the extreme extreme worst scenario. what sporty called the worst scenario is basically him describing the "most likely" scenario should we be caught. you are right mike, that would be the worst scenario, but soooooooo unlikely its not what im worried about. the worst thing that could happen would realy just be me getting kicked out, her getting fired/suspended. but thats enough to make me do it very little....in otherwords, making sure we dont get caught. but then i dont enjoy it as much cause im not focussing on her/us, im focussing on everyone else in the club.
-
Re: Two things I don't understand...
Sandy yeah I gotta agree with you on the most likely and the extreem descriptions.
-
Re: Two things I don't understand...
Next time a dancer grabs my hand and says "feel it," I'm gonna tell her it's "sick, cruel and selfish?" I don't think so.

Re: Two things I don't understand...
[email protected] Sporty!!! I guess i'm too easy! I always let 'em put my hands anywhere they want. ;D

Re: Two things I don't understand...
this will be todays last post as my last
leg of my flight home is boarding shortly 8)
but anyone who is unable to see that putting not only yourself and your dancer at risk for arrest but putting everyone involved with the club at risk for losing their jobs, investment both present and future etc.
as being selfish and cruel is either devoid of human compassion or probably does not have an IQ over 70.

i wouldn't worry about it,SW2. you'll probably get a judge with the temperment of the average SW poster and all you have to do is tell her a little sob story and shed a few crocodile tears and the charges will be dropped.

check this one out.

This dancer offered to met me outside the club and being new to that city and not having been laid since moving there I accepted. She said she needed to grease the manager's palm so she could leave so I gave her a fifty and she disappeared.
Anyone else want to share an ROB story?
gee, i wonder was this in Vegas or Amsterdam? and yet

Yes it was in LV- but before I knew it was only legal in certian areas outside the city.
and yes I go to legal areas when partaking - for all those reasons.

Here we go with the incorrect labels again.
IT IS NOT A DOUBLE STANDARD- yes I feel it her actions were indeed selfish, I also got the feeling she did too-thats why she felt badly about it.

when did they start offering official outcall services at any stripclub? do you just make it up as you go along? pardon me, if i find your explanation incredulous for someone who likes to talk about legal issues. first of all, you stated that a "STRIPPER",not a "PROSTITUTE",offered to meet you outside the "STRIPCLUB". Secondly,i would think that most people think of word "BROTHEL" and not "STRIPCLUB" when thinking of legal prostitution in Nevada. even the most uninformed indiviual with a submoronic level of intelligence knows that there is a difference, generally speaking, between the two....

Is it because you are interested in her as a person or that you just want to screw her? If it is her personality go ahead and ask her out, the worst that can happen is she says no. If you just want to do her, don't bother just order up an escort instead.
ok. so maybe they wouldn't know the difference. BTW,did the dancer who offered to meet you outside the STRIPCLUB work at a contact or air dance club? at least try to make it sound believable this time around.

Mike..
I happened to notice that you responded to a post quoted by sixfigures...
Makes me wonder if you're using two screen names?
Amber
two? i think it was at least four or five at last count.

Re: Two things I don't understand...
Mike, please do tell, what are the penalties associated with Libel? Also, would it not be "sick, cruel and selfish" to make up stories about a dancer pertaining to alleged illegal incidents in a club? for couldn't those allegations lead to increased scrutiny by LE and therefor put all these people out of business? whos the biggest hyppocrit of them all? you.

Re: Two things I don't understand...
no,it is no hypocrite. it is just pretending to be something it's not. it's like when a man posts on a messageboard pretending to be a woman. women know something seems strange but they can't quite put their finger on it. <read between the lines>

Re: Two things I don't understand...
Amber, the idea is that you be in control of the dance. If you let the customer have free reign then all sorts of abuses can result. The point is, that you have someone to answer to - the club. If you are acting out of character and if someone complains about it then you have to answer to the club and its management.
If the customer gets out of hand then who does he or she answer to , besides the bouncer?
Don't worry ,if the person is deserving I'm sure you'll put a good show for them. If the customer doesn't like your show ,then they don't have to return to you.
