High class clubs- what does it mean to you?
What do you consider to be a "High Class" club?
Which clubs do you consider to be high class?
For me a high class club offers lots of services like valet parking, a full menu , bathroom valets, shoe shine, airport limo service etc.
The dancers wear gowns & cocktail dress rather than just say bikini's or 10 inch long dresses. The dancers are ALL way above average in looks with many Playboy model types in the group.
The club is kept superiorly clean and has at least a min. of updated and comfortable decor and hopefuly lush decor like say Jaguars in LV. The DJ's don't speak too much other than to call dancers on stage. and the service is quick and poliet by wait and bar staff.
Dances and stage shows are done in a "tasteful" manner. sexy and seductive without getting into raunchy. By this I mean no sex acts or toys- basicaly no MBOT type shows.
Some high class clubs would be-
The Mens Club- N.C and TX
Gold Club in Atlanta (now closed)
Cheetah3 in Atlanta
Club Paradise in LV
Pure Platnium in Ft Lauderdale
Scarlett's in Tampa (now closed)
Rachel's in Orlando
Jaguars in LV
Delilah's Den in Philly
What about the rest of the board- your thoughts and opinions on what makes a club high class? Any clubs that you feel rate "high class"
Re: High class clubs- what does it mean to you?
I've enjoyed several of the clubs you mentioned, but I sometimes I feel as if all of those amenities are not needed, I'm going there to look at naked/near naked women after all, do I really need a bathroom attendant or a valet attendant? I also find that although you are treated well as a customer, many of the staff are a bit impersonal (if not arrogant), who needs that, strip clubs are suppose to be fun.
Re: High class clubs- what does it mean to you?
A high class club means to me "splurging, splurging, splurging" regardless of all the amenities. Have to go every once in a full moon, otherwise it's bankruptcy for me.
Re: High class clubs- what does it mean to you?
Your right Carlos, seems like money goes to quick in these places and it really is not as much fun.
Re: High class clubs- what does it mean to you?
as long its clean and has good looking women and high mileage and respectful mgmt then its high class enough. Who wants to hang out in a stuffy uptight place with a bunch of suits who don't know the meaning of a good time.
Re: High class clubs- what does it mean to you?
For me, class is when the owners want to provide good value, management treats dancers like human beings, dancers care about guys, guys respect dancers, everyone likes the staff, and all the regulars would be there for the bouncer if someone got out of line.... Class is when the place is clean, comfortable, and laid back with no promo junk. Guys of all races from all walks of life can have fun together, and if you tell a dancer it's your birthday, there's a spontaneous party within 20 minutes.... I know a few places like that, and none of them have valet parking. One of them has a #8 Bud Light NASCAR lamp hanging over the pool table and pitchers of beer for $3.
Re: High class clubs- what does it mean to you?
So called high class clubs mean nada to me! The corporate type clubs that people think about when mentioning high class, basically treat their customers as a number and not as people! And Mike, I know we have butt heads on here, but I have been to Delilahs in Philly. And for people to say that it is so high class, then they havent been around much, cuz to me it is just like any other bar. It reminded me of the Lace chain here in NJ, which is supposedly high class. Let me put it to you this way, if I can go into a club, wearing jeans and sneakers, and not feel out of place, and the dancers still come up to me, then it isnt as high class as people think. Cuz that is the way I went into Delilahs on a Saturday nite. Then when I was walking to my car in the lot, this black guy wanted a "tip" cuz he said he was keeping an eye on my car! Well, he chased me and my friend. So no high class ranking for me!
Re: High class clubs- what does it mean to you?
Money, that guy in the parking lot probably didn't work at the club, but was more likely just some schmuck trying to scam a few bucks off the drunk customers leaving the club. I see that kind of crap all the time - guys who are in no way affiliated with whatever business they are 'working' at, trying to get people to 'tip' them for the free parking!
Re: High class clubs- what does it mean to you?
Bridgette, dear, yes the guy was a hoodlum! I know he had nothing to do with the club! I was just being sarcastic! I have been all around Manhattan, and the Block in Baltimore and Center City in Philly, I am not just another pretty face! I know what is going on.
