Detroit Clubs
The new regulations of the Michigan Liquor Control Commission, effective March 1, 2003, will require all topless dancers to be at least 18" off the floor and 3' away from the customer. No contact at all. This is the beginning of the end of lap dancing in Detroit. I've even suggested to one club manager that he have a big party on Feb. 28 that will end at midnight. The Last Lapdance Marathon.

Re: Detroit Clubs
But March 1st came and went and nothing changed. It looks like lap dancing will still be around in Detroit, pending the outcome of litigation. So I was wrong--again.

Re:Detroit Clubs
i have worked in detroit for over five years. there are already laws in place that regulate all of these things that either are not enforced or enforced for political gain. it will always be this way. thank you to all of the lawyers that keep these politicians at bay.
