I have to agree with Katrine on this one. The advice is probably applicable to a small number of "very upscale big city show clubs". However this type of club is definitely in the minority, typically only exists in a handful of big cities, and typically only hires a very select few dancers who fit the very upscale image.
As Katrine points out, following this sort of 'business plan' in most clubs typically wouldn't work anywhere near as well.
