Polyamorous Friend- Breaking Benjamin
Audioslave
White Stripes
Methods of Mayhem, especially "Get Naked", and "Narcotic"--I've been meaning to start a thread on these guys for a while now.
The new Crystal Method CD (well, ok, almost a couple years old, lol). It's called Tweekend.
I'll post more later, I'm helping my girlfriend write a paper tonight.
"narcotic" by Methods is great! i especially love that tommy lee sampled his own episode of "behind the music" in it. "tommy knew the difference....he just didnt care" and yeah Tweekend was okay, though i still liked the first cd better. and the even newer one, legion of boom, was blech.
Heya Blade, heres some new stuff i posted about.Hope it helps.Get the new pappa roach!Quote:

Im nuts about Velvet Revolver right now.The new single Fall to Pieces is awsome when danced to by a pro.<swoon>

R/B is really booming right now.
I like the new destiny's child -Lose my breath.Very catchy, not to harsh, wont scare the old guys:O .
The new Nelly/Christina Ag-on nelly cd #6(forgot the name)But its awsome!!!Worth getting the cd on your way to work if you can dance to R/B.Perfect song!Gonna hit BIG,top 3 on charts before thanksgiving im sure.(you heard it here first;D )
OYE Mi Canto-NORE,nina sky, etc.Great spanish r/b sound.works perfect for the stage depending on your young latin demographic.I like the beat but its in spanish.
I swear, when the Britteny spears version of bobby browns My Perogative hits,im gonna hang myself from the rafters. This version sucks!!Its only gonna hit because its brittny, but hit big it will im afraid.
Whatever you want -christina milian is a great follow up single to move your body. Its not as good IMO,but topping that song isnt going to be easy.
Rumors-Lindsay Lohan is new and might hit well, its got a great beat to it and it crosses over into the top 40 dance relm well.
Lets Go-Trick Daddy.Harsh, hair pullin, ass smackin, kinda ghetto rap.Fuckin love it!Not for all clubs! They sample Ozzy in the song. His song -pull over that ass to phat, is better imo.
I have randomly tested these songs on dancers, they have all worked and liked, some even instantly "adopted" a few.
Got some new stuff im gonna try this weekend, will let ya know how they work!

i agree with most of those....with the exception of some of the slow r&b tracks which i just dont play. but as was mentioned before, Blade, im sure one of us on here has whatever you may need....just come up with some sort of list. oh and i have to ask something that bothered me about the new promo only, WTF is "Amber" by 311 on there for? this came out a couple of years ago! i know this because it came out when i was working at Ybor Secrets in tampa when it had first opened, right before i moved back to philly. so why is it on a new promo cd? oh and that NORE song makes me want to claw my eyes out. the nina sky girly part is okay but other than that i have a constant thread of "shutup.shutup.shutup.shutup.shutup." going thru my head the whole time.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one still playing Methods of Mayhem, of course my happy ass would play em anyhow cuz I love em...
Big you rock! that list went back to music I own already..glad to see some of it's still current(like eamon and frankee)
Readin this thread shows me I'm in better shape than I thought music wise. Thanks Guys and Girls!!!!
Hey, Blade -- I know the other night at the club we talked about Tool and how you like the earlier stuff from them better than later stuff.
Have you heard their album 10,000 Days yet? It seems to be a little more of a mix between the early "angry" stuff and the "epic"/Pink-Floyd-ish sound they got more heavily into on Lateralus.
There's one track on 10,000 that has the right sound to it, but (as with all their stuff lately) it runs a little longer than most stuff that gets radio airplay. It's titled the same as the album. I'll have to let you get a listen to it when you get a chance.
I used to dance to method of Mayhem... I've worn out the CD.. :)
My picks.. I got XM radio.. OMG I am in true heaven!!! I hear all sorts of incredible shit!
Panic Channel
Theory of a Dead Man
Breaking Benjamin
Scum of the Earth (they have a remake of We will rock you, done PORN style.. omg.. so good!)
korn- coming undone!, Word Up...
Kidney Thieves- Crazy
LACUNA COIL REMADE A DEPECHE MODE SONG... OMFG and its awesome... (I am in the process of planning an out of town trip ANYWHERE where I can dance..I gotta get a bug out of my system and the more I hear these newer songs, the more I want to go somewhere!)...
Tommy Lee's newer CD is good as well...
Wow, I forgot about this thread.
I never did come outta retirement, instead I got caught up in work.
