You didn't violate any rules. But none of the info is current. This industry has changed, not for the better in the last 10 years. Now anything with a vagina can be a stripper.
And I think even the vagina is just an option at times.
I'd recommend belly dancing to tone up your body. It will also get you used to dancing, and you can even work your way up to doing it in heels. You'll get a good workout, -and- you'll find yourself energized and ready to dance once you get on stage. Not only that, but you will have your own unique style and you can incorporate the belly dancing into your stripping.
Belly dance DVDs are probably the way to go, so you can work at your own pace. There are plenty of belly dance DVDs out there if you're just looking for a workout.
