Scrambled with American cheese is the best. But when I do scrambled I like to use a little yolk in them, not much.
Re: Any egg lovers in here?
I love eggs Vy.
I have a great deviled egg recipe if you like them. ;)

Sure will! ;D
Re: Any egg lovers in here?
I always add a Tblspn of cold water too, it's supposed to be good in scrambled. I like sharp cheddar cheese. This makes a nice light supper.
Re: Any egg lovers in here?
Ok Vy,
A little different from the normal Deviled eggs....
In a separate bowl I mix the following: Mayo - I prefer Miracle Whip - some spicy mustard, squirt of ketchup (not too much, it'll turn it pink or red), couple dashes of Worchestershire sauce, some sweet pickle relish and then salt & pepper, then I keep tasting it until I get it right like I want it.
In another bowl, mash up the egg yolks with a fork real fine. Then add a little of the mayo mix at a time so you don't get it too runny. You want a nice consistency. Then put into egg half .Then sprinkle paprika on tops.
:yummy:

When I was little I used to make Birds in the Nest:
butter both sides of 2 pieces of bread
use a small cup to cut out a hole in the center of each slice
place bread in pan
break an egg into each hole
fry on medium heat for a minute or two
flip and fry
viola!
Re: Any egg lovers in here?

Damn girls, sounds all good to me. Thanks!! ;D
Re: Any egg lovers in here?
Also tasty in deviled eggs... Try using pickled garlic chopped up fine in place of the relish. So very delicious.

Re: Any egg lovers in here?
I love Waffle House's cheesy scrambled eggs.
Re: Any egg lovers in here?
what i like even more then the eggs.... the protein i get from the eggwhites!!!!
Re: Any egg lovers in here?
I have egg whites every morning!;D
Re: Any egg lovers in here?
Try mixing different mustards in your deviled eggs. (I like spicy horseradish) Also try a little ranch dressing. I make the most FABULOUS deviled eggs! And yes, definately go with Miracle Whip.
Re: Any egg lovers in here?
Poaching is a good way to cook an egg sans fat or frying. Boil water like you would for Ramen noodles, but slip the raw egg in near the surface of the hot hot water. It'll turn out soft-boiled-like in five to ten minutes.
Re: Any egg lovers in here?

Re: Any egg lovers in here?
Oh, if you beat some eggs...with a little bit of skim milk (or whatever milk you prefer) and then add some cheese...in a non-stick baking pan (like a round pie pan) put the eggs and then bake it for 10-15 minutes until thoroughly cooked through, you will get a nice fluffy, baked omelet. Nummy!!
