How do you show your customers appreciation?
Just wondering what you all do to show appreciation to your regulars? I need some new ideas. If I see a regular walk in the door I always tell the waitress to send a drink over and put it on my tab. I also give my regulars free passes. I will also give my regulars Christmas presents...just little trinkets...and in their Christmas card I personalize it and really thank them for coming to the club to see me. I also put in five free passes.
I know some dancers don't like regulars...but I do, as they are my life blood. I am not the youngest, prettiest nor the highest mileage dancer in the club, so I need to make up for it in other ways.
Any ideas?

go more mileage for your regs?
Re: How do you show your customers appreciation?
Wow, it sounds like you are doing a great job of showing your appreciation already. Youngest, prettiest or highest mileage is not what generaly gets you regulars anyway. Making a guy feel special is how you do it. If you are busy when a regular comes in, try to stop over and say hello even if it's just for a minute. Maybe try and find out if he is in a hurry or if he can wait for you. I'm not suggesting that you blow-off a guy that you are already with, no regular should expect you to do that. Try and remember names, or what you talked about on the last visit. We come in to SC's to escape reality for a while. A beautiful woman who is glad to see you is about as good as it gets in the escape department.

Wow, DD, you sound like the dream dancer to any regular. That's pretty amazing, do anymore and I'm sure you'd qualify as full-on girlfriend material!!
No honestly though, Yoda is right, I always do the name thing, the attention thing etc and it works.
Another idea could be to wear an outfit for your reg if it's one that particularly drives him/her crazy.

What I do is if the customer gets a VIP with me,I won't charge them the $20 dance we had before we went up to VIP.I mean, come on now, sacrificing $20 in exchange for a $400 VIP is a no-brainer.

Thank you all for taking the time to answer my post....I really appreciate it and your suggestions are all wonderful...(except for uping my mileage...I will have to think about that one...LOL)
There is a dancer in my club that when she sees her regulars, she rushs to them, gives them a big hug and kiss and then proceeds to give them a 10 minute back and neck massage while they tell her about their day. Her customers are so loyal to her and have been coming to the club to just see her for years.

Also a great suggestion, my retired ATF had a black Gown that she knew drove me absolutely crazy. She always put it on before we went to the vip. I liked her so much in it I started asking her to keep it on longer....

I would have to disagree. From experience it seems that highest mileage is THE factor that keeps regulars coming back. For me it would probably be all three, though there are a lot of young dancers in my club who are in their early 20's. Also, I do give much higher mileage for regulars compared to first comers and that's why they like me. The other trick of letting go of the $20 before VIP is like a given to me. They'll return in with a tip anyway : )

I gave one of my customers this chart, because we're both geek-asses and I thought he'd appreciate it. He loved it.
Just little things like remembering them helps, asking after their kid or trip they took or whatever. You sound like you're doing great! :D

OMG CrescentLuna...that is so funny.
DancerNY.....Sadly, I think you are right. High mileage is becoming increasingly more important. I have been dancing for *gulp* 15 years and have never had a problem keeping customers until recently. The clubs have begun getting rid of the "open lap dance" areas and have begun installing the enclosed private booths...where you can only imagine what goes on. The price tag on dances went from $20 topless/$40 nude dance to $120(3 song)/$200 (5 song) dances in booths. That is a big increase for the customers so now they want a lot more for their money. It is very hard for me to keep a customer by just being nice, interested and giving sensous dances...especially when another dancer walks up to him, grabs him by the ding-ding and says "I want this in my mouth right now". I just can not compete with that. I am just happy to have my few great customers who appreciate the special, albeit low mileage, attention I give them.

One of my ATF's used to see me an go over and get the dj to play a certain song she knew I LOVED her to dance to. And on many occasions she would convince another dancer to change HER song from that one so She could do it right away. BTW the song was "A womans worth" by Alicia Keys,,,, so sexy,,,, ahhh the memories
Re: How do you show your customers appreciation?
Well, the other day I (accidentally, actually) made a customer feel special by leaving the side of another guy to come over to him. My reg hugged me and as we sat down, asked how I had gotten rid of the guy so quickly and what I had said.... Well, I told him, truthfully, that I had asked the man to please excuse me, but I had a date (we had prearranged for him to come in that night). My customer was so flattered he actually gave me extra money that without hint of a lap dance in exchange for the cash.
Interesting how the little things we don't know we're saying, make the buggest impression.
Re: How do you show your customers appreciation?
DD, I do some of the things you do. If I see one of my regulars come in I will send him a drink or I will order a drink for both of us and have it sent to the champagne room and I tell him our drinks are waiting for us in our favorite room. They love that. Sometimes for my regulars, I will tell them it's, "buy one get one free night". This works wonders and usually changes their mind about how much money they were going to spend. They say, "a free one for every one I buy?, well damn let's get started." I walk all of my ATF's to the front door and give them their "farewell hug".....;)
Re: How do you show your customers appreciation?
Well, I have thought about the gift thing or even just a Christmas card, but I don't want to be considered "girlfriend material", so I decided not to. I think it would be too personal.
I do say hello to the regulars and call them by their names, and when we do dances, it's a little more intimate then most of my dances. I don't mean extras, but because I feel more comfortable with them, there is more eye contact, and closer face to face contact (you know, like the kiss that's ALMOST a kiss, but isn't).
