I came up with Rose as a stage name because well....I like roses. Nothing too exciting about that, and "Delight" is a candy that I love. My name is not that funny or interesting.
But a dancer that just got hired at where I work is called "Tequila".....I always get such a laugh out of that.
You want funny? I had a newbie call herself hard candy(no offence H.K.)... we couldn't announce her anywhere without laughing
my (now ex) mother in law came up with my stage name. How's that for classic family dysfunction?
Cowabunga Larzen!! Hot huh..yea I though so too JK!! hahahahah UNSEXY very unsexy
Pokibelle...THATS hilarious!!!!
I think I've heard them all. Mercedes can be a real name, but not Lexus generally. Foxy, sounds good but not very real either Sativa is a potato. Of course there are some real names that would sound really bad in a strip club...Prudence, Dolores, etc.
I wanted to be Jane Doe for a while... when I go back to work I am totally going to be a Prudence.
There is a Gwen at my club. That name to me sounds so very un-sexy and grandma-ish even tho' the girl who uses the name is :hot:
i danced with a girl who called herself serria. everytime the dj announced it, i thought of psoriasis. ewww.. not sexy!
There was this new girl at the club who wanted to be called Silver Cherry...the dj told her it sounded to porno and refused to say it lol
Hmmm...maybe I should go back with the name Goddessia...LOL ;)
My name was a "regular" name and I liked it...it fit me. I think a name should be a reflection of what you want to portray in the club. I wanted class and sophistication...exoticism...so that's how I got my name.
I used to dance with a girl who's real name is Ingrid (sp?) and that's what she danced under.
We have a girl working with us who used the name "Patience" for awhile. She recently changed her name to "Porsche". A good move, I think.
I remember a girl who was featured in the Exotic Dancers Alliance film "Live Nude Girls Unite" who went by the name "Octopussy". :O
Another name that I've only heard used once by a dancer at a club I worked at in the early 90s was "Ariadne".
How could I have forgotten?
We had a Russian girl who danced under the name "Olga".
Dont know how that one slipped my mind.......
I love Pepsi's.."Holiday Spice" soda...I was standing in line at the grocery store the other day and looked down in my cart and  I was like..hey!...omg...I could use that!!!..lol I felt really naughty in line.
Lol!Quote:

A girl i use to work with went by the stage name pussy. When i introduced on stage i would say here comes pussy.Kind of awkard calling her to check sound,i need pussy to the booth.
Based on the formula, I would be Caboodle Ticonderoga!
Knew a HollyWould once. Fugliest dancer ever, hands down. We called her HollyWeird.
My male friends say that my stage name sounds grandmaish, but I like it because it has an air of sophistication and refinement. I am neither sophisticated nor refined.;)
heres another wacky one UH-OH.
Ezmeralda
mmmmmmmm.okay heres another one TOP SECRET.Whats her name its top secret.
ok i dj in the inland northwest so we had a girl went by snow.
how about big'un? I almost died when I heard that one.
We had a new girl (not newbie) at a club I worked at and I almost keiled over when I saw her name on the rotation...Oxdoon!!! Another good one was a 40+ dancer named Hummer. Some people I swear.
most clubs i have worked at put the old veto smackdown on really stupid names so i havent had to deal with too terribly many.(and thank god for that). one girl wanted to change her name to "Pepsi" though. oh and i recall one audition coming up and saying something like "hi, i'm Like Buttah". to which my MOD and i replied in unison "no, you're not". and then the laughter started. puh-leeze.
