How to approach a customer for a lap dance?????
Hi I have recently starting this profession 2 days ago and I find it hard to ask the gentlemen if they would like a dance. How is one to start a convertation and how do you ask them in a way that isnt so forward if they want a dance? I am very shy on the floor where the lap dances are. But on stage and when I am doing the lapdance I am fine. I just have a hard time with approaching them. Do any of you girls have any tips on this??? If so please help............

Ask a customer if he would like some company.
When he says yes,sit down intoduce yourself and ask him how his evening( or day) is going. Make small talk about general subjects like movies or sports . Tell a dirty joke if you can or something else likely to make him smile or laugh. Then find something to compliment him on- make it an honest compliment or he will feel "played". Return back to small talk for a min. or two.
That should take up two songs , wait 3 songs max to make your move. There are number of ways to ask for a dance but one of my favorites was always " are you ready get me naked" or "how would you like to see my clothes on the floor" smile and be coy. If those lines are too "slutty" feeling to you go for the super classy version of " shall we dance" .
I know a fairly bold dancer who used to say to a customer " guess what time it is ?" and then return with " it's dance time" if someone is a really humorous type dancer , this can work well.
Hope that helps some. You might also check out the newbie section here on SW- it covers all this kind of stuff and much, much more.

make sure you smile and then ask how their night is going. ask if they have ever been to the club before, is so when was the last time they were there. ask if they live in the area, small talk etc. then ask if they are having a good time. if they say no, not really, then say 'well i can show you good time, how about a private dance?' if they say they are having a good time, then ask them if they'd like to have a better time on the couch (or wherever, if only chairs at your club then take them to a chair away from the stage) in a private dance. this usually works for me unless they are broke or just dicks.

Lots of good advice so far. Be sure and check out the Hustle Hut for more more ideas. Like Tigerlilly mentioned, you should try and work on your own approach, one that matches your own persona. What works for her or the fairly bold dancer, may not work for you. I once knew a dancer even bolder than the one Tigerlilly mentioned. She would actually point men out form on stage and say, "when I'm done here I'm coming back to dance for you!" Know what, she was very rarely refused either.
One thing you have to keep reminding yourself is that most of the guys there came looking to get a few lap dances. If they wanted to just sit and drink, there are other bars around with way cheaper drinks. I mean, it's not like they are going to go home and say, "OMG I went to a strip club last night and a dancer offered me a lap dance". Thats what most of them are there for. Of course every club is going to have its share of cheap customers that sit at the bar making two beers last all night while enjoying the free show on stage. And some customers you approach will be looking for a girl that has a different look than you. But most of the customers have come with the idea of getting at least a few dances. If fact, a lot of customers will actually leave the club with money in their pockets that they didn't spend. Don't believe me? Check out the results and comments I got from a little poll I took recently:

Make eye contact with your target. If you're inclined, touch his arm or leg in a sensual way. Sometimes pretending to trip and somehow ending on his lap does the trick just about every time.
