Re: Moving to Vegas
I've worked at the Rhino in Vegas, as I used to work at the Rhino here in Boise. THe old manager of the Boise Rhino is now the manager at the Vegas one. Very nicely run. You will make money.

Re: Moving to Vegas
It is high mileage and there are lots of girls, I found it easier when I worked at the Rhino to just stay on my own and do my own thing. Its open 24 hours so you will more than likely have a mid shift.. when I was there I worked the 3 am to 9 am shift.. I averaged about $500 a shift- there was one night that I did over 900, which isn't too shabby. I probably could have done more but I was choosy and very picky with the company I chose. Again, I had a good experience. Its topless and it is a good environment.

Re: Moving to Vegas
I worked dayshift at the Rhino this past month. I worked about 1-9, approximately. A few days it was so dead that I didn't make a penny for the first couple of hours, almost unheard of for me. You have to HUSTLE HUSTLE HUSTLE like crazy, there are plenty of girls out there.
They had sooooo many girls for nightshift during the week that they asked me to wait a few days. Its very hard to get into nightshift, even if you are superhot. None of the new girls that started when I did were allowed to stay, and we were all very attractive.
My suggestion to you is to sell those $200 for half hour VIP, and also the 3/$100 dances. Always ask the customer to tip you because the VIP guys will hit you up to tip them when you are done. Its far more lucrative then just doing the floor dances and were easy to sell IMO.

Re: Moving to Vegas
I'm interested in hearing more about the Rhino. My girlfriend started working at Striptease not too long ago, tried out at the Rhino and got three night shifts right off the bat, I think it was Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, 8pm-whenever, and even thought she did over 800 one night, over 1500 another, she came home with less than house fees a couple times, got discouraged and intimidated by all the other girls and went back to striptease where 500 a night is pretty good for her. Did she give up too soon?

Re: Moving to Vegas
When you are new girl or a traveling girl, you won't get a night shift or a decent shift at the Rhino in vegas.. they just won't do it. Kat is right about the 3/$100 and do watch out for the VIP guys.. they will hit you up for tips. I did good because I went during Nascar week, it was hella busy the entire time I was there and I didn't work a very good shift.. like I said, I worked at 3am to 9am shift and I was able to kinda pick and choose, the first night I worked was dead, but I got lucky the other nights that I was there, I got a guy each night that basically took care of me, my earnings after tip outs and everything for four shifts was around $3700- not too bad for never working Vegas before. I wasn't complaining and I'd go back. But, there are lots of girls.

Re: Moving to Vegas
Sounds like you need to work your way through law school down here Gynger. You know, and I point this out to my lady all the time, she makes more as a dancer than I expect to make when first starting out as a lawyer, and with all the other perks that come with dancing, I don't know why you want to give it up until you have to... too old, bad knees, etc, etc.

Re: Moving to Vegas
MD- I'm 34 and I don't look my age, more like mid twenties, but I do have some injuries.. way back when... LOL.... I used to do a lot of pole dancing and I fell off the pole, hurt my shoulder really bad and have arthritis/bursitus in my shoulder, and being on my feet all the time I've developed some mild arthritis in my feet as well... it is tolerable, and I know what you are saying, I could pretty much pay through school and be done and not have to work a full time job.
I am just tired of it. I've been at this on and off, full time for four years then I retired, then I came back after a long absence. Sometimes you just know when you are done. I like dancing on stage, but as for private dances, I get really bored, and I was getting to a point that I just wasn't "into it" any more. YOu know when its time to quit when you can't be positive about anything. And, I did take breaks, and I tried to regroup, etc.. I just think that this girl is finally done, unless something else changes.
