If strippers ignore you, you're probably a bad person.
Sometimes strippers are lazy or have wrongly typed you and won't say hello. If this happens, I'm not talking about you. I'm talking about the kids who came in tonight.
The first set of kids made fun of the Chinese customers using racist comments normally reserved for the Japanese. I told them to fuck off. I'm mixed Asian and took personal offense. Because they were young and stupid and had no idea that "Jew" is not a verb, I sat with them for a lesson because the club was dead and I was bored.
They wanted a dance then told me some other dancer was prettier. They also though $10 was a little too much. I shrugged my shoulders and walked away.
They came to the stage to tip me. I acted like there was no one there. Since the club was, again, unrevivably dead, ignoring them was a double whammy insult.
Then, a second set of young punks came in. A cute dark-haired pretty boy approached me during my stage set. I did a little tease. He told me that I had to work harder for his dollar. He said he was from Dallas and the mileage is much higher for much less.
I then thought of the ladies of SW. Liar.
He asked me for a dance and would I do it for $5? What, could he not afford $10?
I ran to the dressing room to tell the other ladies because it was JUST TOO FUNNY. He had pulled the same shit on them. No company for him.
Oh and the Chinese men were from Hong Kong. They didn't buy any dances because there was no touching. Well, they bought one dance from an unfortunate soul and were sadly disappointed that they couldn't touch her boobs or finger her or stick a cock up her ass. The establishment is not a brothel; it's a strip club. We have laws as well as personal boundries.

Re: If strippers ignore you, you're probably a bad person.

Re: If strippers ignore you, you're probably a bad person.
Mermaidz, it's from the movie "Karate Kid".
Girl I hate it when they make remarks too. Especially ones that are really rude.
Just tell them to piss off.

Re: If strippers ignore you, you're probably a bad person.
Insulting another customer, and the bouncers didn't dribble them to the door?
Not to mention the ones who were being an ass to you.

Re: If strippers ignore you, you're probably a bad person.
I would have screamed at their sorry asses. This is where my anger stems from that a couple of people have asked, am I a bitch? No, not exactly, I just get pissed when men come into a strip club and act like they are holier than thou, and act like we are there to give them cheap ass dances, like who the fuck are you, thinking you are so friggin special that you can get a dance from me for 5$?! Do you honestly think you are that good looking or smooth talking or special?! Geez, dumbasses.

not everyone can be bothered learning a whole foregin language just for a few months!! most customers there are english speaking, but alos many with the big bucks arent. the agents say you dont need to know jap, whihch is all ass, but as ive learnt the agents lie about whatever they can to get a girl there.
it HELPS to know jap, but it definatly doesnt hinder all that much, nor is it a bad thing. many japs like the idea of being your japanese teacher, and like girls who cnat speak fluently.
sushi doll, its no big deal, just learn a few basic words that seem important to learn, if you can get a lil dictionary, that MIGHT help.
OH one more thing, i found this really useful.....get a lil note pad and a pen or two, that way you and your customer can draw the things you cnat explain lol, this one was always great fun :)

you worked and earned some money in japan right? how could you be so rude then?
-
Re: If strippers ignore you, you're probably a bad person.
I think that was a little harsh....Ive met some rude customers but DAMN!! I would have ignored them too. How hard do you want a naked girl to work for a F*CKING DOLLAR!! C'mon now!!! F*ck your dollar and f*ck you....maybe Im an ass but with any job I wonty stand there and let someone talk down to me...I dont care how much I get paid.
I would have told them to go back home and get a dance b/c thats not what we do here. I believe in trying to keep a postive environment in the SC....happy ppl = more money for me!
*Vabeach I believe she was shortening the name (Im not Japanese but sorry if you took offense)

Re: If strippers ignore you, you're probably a bad person.
vabeach what are you talking about? That wasn't rude, in fact, she was giving friendly advice to other people
-
Re: If strippers ignore you, you're probably a bad person.
OT: I believe what Vabeach is saying is that "Jap" is a derogatory term, regardless of whether it is being used as an abbreviation. Think WWII and Pearl Harbor. I doubt Mermaid meant it in a derogatory manner, but I guarantee it's offensive to most people of Japanese descent.
Back OT: Lizette, good for you for attempting to enlighten them, although I wonder how much of it they retained. Idiots :)

Re: If strippers ignore you, you're probably a bad person.
I always go out with asian guys and am very sensitive for those subject.
I have worked in japan, like she did. money wasn't fabulous for me, but I do still love Japan and especially had a japanese BF so.. took offence.
*yes, Tigersmilk I guessed it could be shortening the name (those highlighted in brown)
but the red one I don't think so. shortening could be JPN/JPNS...nope?
thanks for understanding.

Re: If strippers ignore you, you're probably a bad person.
MermaidNZ lives outside the US, so "Jap" may not be offensive where she lives. Whereas in the US, calling someone a "Jap" is a bad, bad thing, like "Spic" or "Chink."
-
Re: If strippers ignore you, you're probably a bad person.
This Chink thinks "Chink" is a VERY bad word.
-
Re: If strippers ignore you, you're probably a bad person.
I hate the "I'll make a deal with you" guys. There is this one very irritating guy right now, he'll follow me around to talk to me. Anyway, he was like "so, how's about a $20 dance?"
me: "Dances are $30."
him: "No, no, no. I said $20."
Me: "If you'd like to come in on Wednesday, when dances are $30, you're welcome to."
him: "I'm talking about today. Think about like Vegas, what you make is between you and me, and -"
blah blah blah, I swear he argued with me for like ten minutes over it. I sold him two dances a few weeks ago, normal price, he spent the entire time arguing with me over what he could touch [nothing]. Then when I got done he asked for a hug, so I gave him a hug and he groped my boob. Not even like "oh, accidental brush" like "squeezy squeezy!" GRRR. >:( And he's one of those regulars the manager will buy drinks for. >.<
What jerks, and I hear you about clubs that don't do anything about it. Some clubs are just like "eh, they're buying drinks, oh well."

Re: If strippers ignore you, you're probably a bad person.
Ooooooooooh, this irks me so much! I've encountered so many racists customers over the years it is just sad. I don't really know what ethnicity they think I am supposed to be, or if I should just laugh at their disguisting comments, but its come to the point where I have no fear about telling them off then and there, THEN having them booted!
Funny thing, the racists never ever buy any dances or tip either, at least from my experience! Ladies, stand up for yourselves and what you believe is right, let them know that they can't get away with that! I let it pass FAR too many times under the guise of trying not to stir up trouble, but there's no point! Best of luck to everyone in this situation, it really sucks!
-
Re: If strippers ignore you, you're probably a bad person.
I hate guys who try to haggle over dance prices. And THEN, when you can talk them into ONE, they don't tip. I'm sure they tip the person who washes and waxes their car, but the won't tip the girl who just got naked and danced for them??!
Younger boys (and yes I'm gonna generalize here) don't seem to understand that racial terms are still derogatory. Hmm...I think I may have spelled that wrong...oh well. At any rate, they probably also have black friends who call each other the "n" word so...using terms like Jap and Jew seem OK. I had a little 18 year old call me a Jap once so I called him a corn fed cracker....in "real life" I would never say something like that but, when it's really offensive, I say fight fire with fire.

Looks like mermaidnz was using the term "jap" as slang, not a racial slur, in that post, vabeach. Remember, slang is different on the other side of the world than it is here in the US...;)

Didn't you know that if the manager buys a customer drinks that they get to grab you and break all the rules?? Oh, yeah, don't forget the price break they get for being a VIP...goddammit some people are just cheap idiots...

yeah that's what I figured. Like saying Brits, Aussies, Turks etc is just shorthand here.
-
Re: If strippers ignore you, you're probably a bad person.
^ Did you call us "Aussies"?! We are "Australians", thank you very much! I have never been more insulted...;D
Racists are pond scum. There is few things more satisfying than hearing that a skinhead(s) got the beatdown because they insulted the wrong person.
My mates (and people that I've introduced myself as a chink to) can call me a chink, anyone else does and...
