I finally went to the BA Doc...
Ok guys, I finally worked up the courage to see a plastic surgeon.
So, I had my consult on a BA and a tummy tuck.
Tummy tuck was better than expected. I was expecting a full tummy tuck. He todl me I was the perfect canadate for a "mini" or a "Hollywood" tuck. Which incidentaly is 4 grand less! ;D
Now for the sad part:'( . The BA.
I was expecting a lot less than what he wants to do. Appaently I have what's called a type 3 sag. So now he wants to do an "internal lift" and 540cc co-hesive gell implants behind the muscle. The good part? No more sag and I'll have DD's. The bad part? The price and the time off of work. Almost 3 months.
Girls I'm so upset, and happy and worried and mad, and everything else too. I really want them done and if I do them I'm glad they are going to be gels instead of saline, but that's alot of time off and money.
Any sugestions or ideas? Or has anyone had an internal lift or co-hesives?

Well? Anyone had an internal lift or the newer silicones?
I am a little worried about the lift part.

It's the newer form of silicone implant. it's a thicker oily gel substance that has less of a chance of rupture or leaks.

My so's mom had an mini tuck, and she looks great in a swimsuit (5 months post op)
I never really saw her stomach before, but it wasn't too bad.
As far as the cohesives, you lucky lucky girlie! I wish i could have gotten them my first time around!
I didnt know a mini tuck was 4 k less then a tummy tuck? Tummy tucks are like 6, 7 k right?
What was your total price if you dont mind me asking?
Re: I finally went to the BA Doc...
I've seen two BA's where the girls probably should have had the lift. They had "topedoes" and then got implants. Then when they were done, they had this high profile implants and a bunch of natural tissue hanging underneath....and really low nipples. It actually looked worse.
Not that this helps any, but if you're going to spend the money, I think it's important to do it the best way possible, otherwise you are no better off.
Re: I finally went to the BA Doc...
Kitana, a friend of mine is having the gel's done. She heard they were the new best thing. Good-luck!!!!! ;)

Kitana,
If you're worried about all this, your best bet is to get a second opinion.
Check out the ladies there will be able to give you great advice. You can see photos of women who've had the same procedure done and talk to them and see what they think.
An internal breast lift sounds allot better than anchor or donut lift! Serious scaring on those two.
Re: I finally went to the BA Doc...
i second what emily said... no matter what, you're going to be spending a lot of money, so you may as well get it done right the first time, ya know? I have NOT had a BA (yet, hehe) so im not the best person to be talking, but i just wanted to second the awesome advice emily gave :)
Re: I finally went to the BA Doc...
I know that when women have regular lifts, it -usually- leaves a scar from the bottom of their nipple on down. But I highly doubt you would have a scar if you had an internal lift. That would be the better way to go since you are a dancer and people see yer boobies ;)
Re: I finally went to the BA Doc...
I totally agree with Emily. Also get various opinions from different PS if you can, & do a good research on the implant forum to see if any other of the girls there had the same thing done. That site's the best, I get really good info on there.
But if you can't do both, I guess do one procedure first then when you can get the other one done?
Whatever you do, good luck & best wishes. :)

I want those too! ;D
Re: I finally went to the BA Doc...
Thanks girls!!
Tampa, a little over 4 grand for the mini tuck, and A little over 8 grand for the BA and internal lift. Not too, bad but I don't think I'll get them both done at the same time.
Yeah, the internal lift won't have the same sacrs as a reg lift and that's what I was hoping.
He said basically that he would take my breast tissue and sew it to my muscule wall to lift it back up; then put the implant under the muscle.
I looked a little on implant fourm, and I couldn't find anyone who had had it done.

If you cut into a cohesive gel implant, you will get the same effect like as if you cut into a gummy bear.
