I've been looking for a few good pairs of shoes from the few sites that are listed but I have a few questions still. From what I understand there are certain things needed in your shoes especially if you don't want to be called a newbie. Please let me know if I'm right or wrong in any of the things I say, I welcome any and all advice & opinions. Thanks
1. You have to have the height. I was thinking a 6" heel would be okay for me since I'm 5'4". I don't want to be over 6' because many men feel uncomfortable around women that are taller then them in my experience just day to day. Also, I haven't worn over 4 1/2" yet, I'm afraid I'd break an ankle. Is that size okay of should I try shoes with the cone heel, or do those just scream newbie? The thigh high boots that I'm looking at getting are only 5" heels though and I can't find them with a platform heel that doesn't look "chunky." Anyone know if a heel can be added on later by a shoe shop or if that would be safe? Here's the link to them....Sexy Vinyl Spike Thigh High Boots. That's the site that I like the best but the cheapest version of the same pair is at Dressed2play for $43.95. (Snaz75- $47.99, Sexyfootware-$54.95, Mydivascloset-$55.00, and the link above Sexyshoesiren-$69.95)
2. You need a few pairs. I've heard many of you mention having more then one pair simply to match the 3-4 outfits that you need as well. What colors do you generally have on average? I was thinking a clear pair without any straps, a black pair with a thin ankle strap, then the pair of boots. Does this sound reasonable?
Sorry to be so specific but I want to make sure I get the right ones the first time since they are a bit on the expensive side. I was also curious about the manufacturers & which ones were cheap & which ones were strong & will last awhile. Thanks, you ladies are great.
