am i just having bad luck???
hey everyone,
i've checked out two clubs so far north of the perimete of atlanta and neither one are hiring. my question is this: are they REALLY not hiring or are they just not interested in hiring me? i can't help but feel a bit scared about it being because i'm not "good enough" even though none have said that. i suppose i'm just feeling a little perturbed because the clubs closest to my house won't have me.
anyone else having problems finding a job?
i'm trying to figure out the next club i should check out. i heard flasher's was not a clean place...don't know if that's true or not. anyone have any recommendations?
i'm 5'3", 135 lbs, 36D, light brown hair, fair skin, and am 19 years old. what gives??
maybe i'm just freaking out over nothing...but i figured it's be easier to find a club to hire me. damn....
PLEASE HELP!
Re: am i just having bad luck???
honestly and I am sure that I am gunna get slack for this but here it goes. Maybe you should call the club first and ask if they are hiring then when you go see them you will know for sure . It may be the way you look and am only saying this because almost every club will hire any number of girls " the more the merrier " Anyways I am not saying that you don't look good enough to dance but maybe these clubs you have gone to feel that you don't have the right look for their club . This also might sound dumb but when they say that they are not hiring if you really want to know ask them say you know I am new to all this and I haven't been having luck finding a club thats hiring any advice ?? Are you going into the club as a customer and drinking before you talk to someon ?? I am only asking because I have seen this and it always looks bad . Anyways keep trying if they don't want you you don't need them !! Good luck .
Re: am i just having bad luck???
Here's how I got my job at an upscale club that rarely hires:
1. Dress up pretty and classy. Bring your audition clothes.
2. Ask the doorman to speak with the manager.
3. If the manager's busy, ask if there is another time you may come in.
4. If you meet the manager, request an audition.
5. The manager will either say yes or no based on your look and the type of look the club needs. Sometimes, the manager will want to know if you have danced before. If you haven't, you might get turned down just for that. Lots of times, if you have the look they need, it doesn't matter.
6. Do not let anyone turn you away except the manager. Doormen don't know what they are talking about. Don't call. They deal with millions of calls for employment. Make sure the manager sees you.

Re: am i just having bad luck???
When I called about a waitress job at a club thay said " we are always taking applications" which means to me: come in and if you are hot we will hire you....I really dont think there is another way to read that...
Re: am i just having bad luck???
Yes I work at the Master so do about 3 other girls I have meet on this site. You have to audition for the shift you want to work so if you come in at night ask for sherri or tom and during the day ask for steve.
If you audition at night come in at about 9:00 pm and during the day at about 2pm
Good Luck
