actually I have another:
I was being chased by that thing from the old Bugs Bunny cartoons ....that big red thing that says "I will love him and hug him forver"....that was wierd too.
You dreamed you had my boobs !
Scary :O
Good thread!!!!
I dreamt I had sex with Jesse Ventura in my bathroom. I was horrified when I woke up. I never looked at him that way, but I admire his candor, and I like Minnesota too. (Trivia: he likes to razz BUDS tadpoles when he goes to Coronado to do motivational speaking. Very funny stuff.)
I dreamt a prophtetic dream about my dad getting sick a couple years ago...I'll never forget it because I was over 6,000 miles away and very busy at the time, but as clear as sunlight was a dream where he told me with a worried look on his face, "I'm sick, but I'll get better, don't worry." We thought he had cancer, but luckily he didn't. The dream was correct.
My dad was killed by a drunk driver when I was two.
About two years ago I had the most vivid dream about him; a man that I never knew and have no recollection of. I remembered every detail of the dream, which is rare, and when I woke up, I sat down at the computer and typed the whole thing out.
A couple of days later, I emailed it to my mother. SHe called me an hour later in shock - because the dream I had was so accurate (mind you, my mother NEVER talked about my dad) even down to the phrases he used to say. Very descriptive of this man, who I never knew. Very weird... I'll never forget that dream.
Silly Tig - the big red thing didn't say that...the big read thing growled - that was the monster from the castle. The thing that said "I will love him and hug him and pet him and hold him forever" was the abominableableableabal snowman.....Bug and Daffy ran into him when they accidentally turned right at Albequerquee.Quote:

But yours isn't that weird. Yours simply represents a fear you have. My own insecurities used to be represented with dreams of my teeth and hair falling out. I solved the problem with my hair by shaving it all.
I dreamed of being fucked by the devil, and I woke up cumming. :O
Mojo, that is so weird....
we have the same type of recurring dreams....
I am always dreaming that my mouth and throat are full of hair, all wrapped around the back of my tongue and the more I try to pull it out, the tighter it gets and I feel like I'm suffocating. Sometimes it's coffee grounds instead of hair. I always realize it's a dream at some point and try to wake up but I'm paralyzed (because I'm in REM sleep) and can't wake up. I HATE those dreams.
Sometimes I feel like there's something sitting on my chest, stealing my air. In European cultures, they used to call these Night Elves. In China they're Sitting Ghosts. In the Phillippines I think they call them Kapre. Does anyone else know this phenomenon?
Another recurring dream is that my teeth turn brown and crumble. Someone once told me that if you dream of your teeth it's because you're grinding them, and I'm not sure that's true (though I do have TMJ & grind my teeth at night...sometimes I wake up feeling like someone punched me in the jaw.)
Being chased by creatures is another. Usually snakes (very Freudian, I know ::) ) or big cats (tigers, lions, etc.).
These aren't my weirdest dreams (I have lots of those written down in various journals), just the recurring ones.
Last night I think I dreamt about StripperWeb all night! (The blue side, though ;) )
I'm not very familiar with this, but you'll see a representation of this (albeit more extreme - the creature is stealing lifeforce) in the movie collection of Stephen King stories called Cat's Eye, I believe.Quote:

Just to clarify for anyone who doesn't know a BUDS( Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL) tadpole is basically a Navy Seal trainee...it's actually quite humourous to see them running along Corranado beach with the telephone poles on their shoulders.Quote:

I used to have flying dreams all the time. This power in my stomach would will me to rise and fly. I'd fly to escape from something or to travel. They were really cool dreams but I was always afraid of flying too high, was afraid I'd never come down. I tried to keep my flying no higher than several hundred feet. Sometimes though I just rise and rise and I have to really fight to come down lower. weird, huh?
I've had the teeth crumbling dream several times too. Usually I spit into my hand and little tooth pieces come out. My dentist has asked me if I grind my teeth so maybe there's truth to that explanation, Nicolina.
A couple times I've dreamt I was underwater holding my breath and just when I thought my lungs would explode I slowly breathed in and instead of inhaling water I was able to actually breath air. I've always chalked that one up to...oh...what's that nighttime phenomenon called when people hold their breath while they sleep? I forgot. apnea
I miss the flying dreams though I wish I'd have another soon.
thanks for the link vaden. The other night I dreamt of rats and I was in the back yard destroying these little rat nests. guess I should clean my room, huh? ;)
Your welcome LSM.
I use to have dreams of flying too. I would start running really fast for about 10 seconds as if to gain the power and then reach out with both arms and up, up and away.........:)
Okay, this is a little bizarre... It's not the WEIRDEST dream i've ever had (I have oddball ones a lot, and i couldn't tell you the weirdest if i had tried).
I was in some building, i don't remember the context only the crazy part of it, and out the wondow i see something fly in front of the sun, then there's a crash. I look out the window and GODZILLA is out there throwing fireballs at that three headed thing he used to fight all the toime in those old chop-socky kaiju flicks. I'm standing there thinking "what the fuck?" And it's loud as hell, BOOMS and crashes are coming from outside. I don't remember anything that came after. It was a week or two ago...
Maybe i fell asleed with the sci-fi channel on or something...
So, Vaden, just what does GODZILLA signify in a dream? :D
Oh, when i was a kid i had a nightmare about being chased around a hospital by the Frankenstein monster. Scared the shit out of me (i don't remember how old i was, but i was pretty young). Scared me so bad i still remember some of it. Just came bubbling to the surface due to my previous post...
madcap when I was 8 or 9 I had a dream about Chewbacca chasing me around my school he wanted to intravenously inject me with DRUGS he even had a little tube it said "Edward's Drugs" on it. My dad was there and he was shaking his head saying, "I'm sorry, I have to let him do this"
it was horrible. :-\
I had a dream that I was being chased cant remember why but the people after me were going to torture me apparently so I took my own life ( I had a gun ) put the barrel to my head and blasted away (I heard the shot) then I was looking down upon myself kind of an out of body experience . I t wasnt like a heaven or hell kind of feeling actually it was like all the good and bad was gone very hard to explain , was actually a sense of relief . I awoke a bit freaked .
About a month ago, I dreamt that my right leg had died, decayed, and jellified (what happens to body parts that are in watertight bags). The greenish-pink jello skin/flesh broke at the ankle and all the way to the joint. Where the ankle joint should have been was metal teeth. I woke up at that point.
And that's when I stopped watching two episodes of CSI everyday on the Spike Network. *insane laugh*
I'm so sorry - that is hilarious!!! Just imagine that, your parent allowing a crazy hairy monster to dope you up on drugs. Too funny! :rotfl:Quote:

As I was waking up (not yet realizing I'd been dreaming) I was thinking - "god damn....I still feel like I need to pee." WHEW....turns out I did NOT pee during my dream. Why is that amusing? Well, it takes me back early in my relationship with my wife when I had the same dream...except when I woke up there was a soggy puddle next to me. Just a wee (pun intended) bit embarassing. Fortunately for me, since she's had three kids in her bed at varying stages, she didn't care and simply replied "cover it up and go back to sleep".
Mojo, I've had similar dreams where, instead of peeing, I couldn't stop myself pooing. It was the most uncomfortable dream. I couldn't do anything without taking a shit, and in typical dreamland, there were never toilets when I most needed them! Thankfully, it didn't actually happen when I woke up. Had that dream a few times, and I hate it.
ha! I almost did once, but woke up in time to clench!
