Re: how close is too close ?
#1...ask your management... most places you have to be like 1-2 feet away if nude.
#2.. don't get any more money myself. topless with contact is easier for me to sell.
#3... just make sure that you are totally focused on the guy. constant eye contact..
always ask. "you want more" all cute like you expect a yes.
#4... yes and no. sometimes it can be sexy to dance for people you know. 9 time out of 10 though, not something that i would like to do.
Re: how close is too close ?
If I danced nude for someone, I raised the price outrageously, like 100$ a song. But the place I worked at was contact VIP. I figured if they wanted it that bad, money wouldnt be an obstacle, and quite a few times it wasnt.
Re: how close is too close ?
I work as a dancer in Australia. Our rules are a bit different.. but I find that the guy is most interested in touching and less interested in seeing...
I always upsell to a more expensive lap-dance room if they want to see everything... but most of time I find that they are more keen to get upclose and personal that to sit back and look.
Re: how close is too close ?
i have given lap dances before but ive never been completely naked while doing it ... do u get more money that way ?? how close can you get to the customer ? can anyone give me tips on lap dances....also, does anyone find it awkward if someone you kno buys a dance off of you ? any tips would be great !
I've only done nude contact lapdances at bachelor parties, that's usually been club discretion though. Otherwise it's air dancing nude or contact topless.
at private parties, nude contact: $40.
club, nude no-contact: $10-$20.
club, topless contact: $20 - $25.
club, bikini contact: $30.
Depends on your club. Oh, yeah, and those are club set prices [save the party one],
All together, I've probably made the most from $10 nude no-contact dances, as my club doesn't take anything from them. Just because I can go up to a group and do a lot, then move onto another group. Whereas with $20 dances, regardless of what they are, I can't sell as many. Also depends on the club as to how close you can be, at the last club a 6 inch rule was in effect, another 2 feet, yet another no nudity unless I was on a stage, thus a couple of feet away. Some no nudity no matter what.

That's my lapdance thread. Some of these things depend on what club you work at.
I've never had anyone I knew closely buy lapdances from me. Only people I've known kind of vaguely, like a classmate who I never spoke more than a few words to, or a former coworker. Those ones I didn't mind, was kind of fun. Someone closer I would find odd.

Re: how close is too close ?
Wow. All of the LDs we did were nude, with the standard charge of $25 (or $60 in the VIP with 3 songs). I've never done an LD where I *wasn't* nude that I can recall. With the tips I usually made considerably more money, though.
I, too, haven't danced for anyone that knew me personally, though I have for some I've met online and/or became acquaintenances before they came to the club (they found out I danced, and came to see me).
Re: how close is too close ?
At my club you can do an all naked lap dances, but i have figure out this.... I do a lap dance topless only. when they tell me to take my thong off, I say, I only dance naked after 5 lap dances, or I only dance fully naked in the VIP room. This way if they want to see everything, they have to pay more.
Re: how close is too close ?
My clubs were all topless and VERY low contact. The customers couldn't touch us and we could barely touch the customer (nipples grazing his face, etc.). The nude clubs in town had NO contact at all. Also, the nude clubs had no alcohol, while the topless clubs had full bars. I always thought the topless clubs got better dancers and we made more money, but that was mainly because of the drinking issue.
I've danced a couple of times at private parties for guys I knew. Looking back on it, it's NOT something I would recommend.
