Grey hairs!
I have plucked out four grey hairs in three months. I'm sure this sounds anal-retentive, but I take good care of myself, so I'm wondering why I'm getting these. My brother has premature greying, but it's different for men, it actually makes him look better, more mature.
Ideas????

I found my first gray about a month ago.It was depressing as Hell.

Re: Grey hairs!
ideas why you're getting them or how to cover them?
I would imagine it's hereditary for you to get them prematurely like your brother. But you're right, it is different for guys.
I guess you could keep plucking them or dye them if they bother you. I heard you have to keep the dye on for along time in order to adequately cover grey though.

Re: Grey hairs!
I am fortunate in that I found the first one while doing my hair for a funeral. So I had to put it in perspective.....what a morning.

Re: Grey hairs!
HEH! I started getting gray hairs at like 21 or 22. Hubby is 22 and has a patch of gray already. Ours is hereditary though. No good trying to pluck them out though, lol.

Re: Grey hairs!
I started getting grey hairs at 17 or so... as did me brother. Hereditary. They seemed to lessen when I started taking a liquid calcium supplement and a flax seed oil supplemement... but I still have some but less now than in my teens.
Anyway, I use the demi-permanent Shades EQ (Redken) on them in a shade close to my natural colour. I just wrap in plastic/shower cap and sit under the dryer for about 30 minutes. It washed out gradually in a few weeks and leaves my hair healthy and shiny. It is a pro product but you can get it on ebay.
