Is it Golf Season Yet? Atlanta and Myrtle Beach
I need to get out of town. I was thinking of doing one week in Atlanta at the Cheetah and another week in Myrtle Beach at Master's or another club.
There are lots of threads already on this. I know that in Atlanta the license is $350 and you have to wait one night. Do I have to have a license before I apply at the club? What is the audition like at the Cheetah?
Does anyone recommend any other Atlanta clubs? I know that the law requires a strip of pubic hair, how wide?
Does Myrtle Beach require a license? Here is a list of events I found, which of these are good?
http://www.sunnydayguide.com/myrtlebeach/events.html
What is the audition like at Masters? Does anyone have any recommendations for other clubs that may be smaller but equally busy?
FINALLY.......
Who's from the area or is interested in coming with me and sharing a place to stay, or can recommend cheap lodging......
If it works out, I am looking for leave in about a week.
Thanks ladies! :D :D :D

Re: Is it Golf Season Yet? Atlanta and Myrtle Beach
SusanVA was recently in Myrtle Beach, I believe, and can tell you what's going on there. I'd love to head down there sometime.

Re: Is it Golf Season Yet? Atlanta and Myrtle Beach
Myrtle beach is busy from feb-may. I have been there twice once in march and once in may and did very well. I worked at masterd and crazy horse pure gold. They are the two best clubs ( most upscale and busiest) but there are several other smaller ones too. I was thinking of heading up there to in the next few weeks maybe.

Re: Is it Golf Season Yet? Atlanta and Myrtle Beach
I don't know if ATL is going to work out, that license if awfully expensive. Perhaps I'll do either right before or after Jazzfest, depending on tickets...
Anyone in, Susan, Michelle????

Re: Is it Golf Season Yet? Atlanta and Myrtle Beach
This is my first season working in Myrtle Beach, alot of girls I work with head down every spring for golf season so it's definately worth it. You don't need a license to work there. I work at Crazy Horse and really like the club.
I was down the week of Easter and it was horrible. Talking to one of the managers and he said it will be bust until Memorail day weekend then it dies down for the summer. I've had a couple of girls say that Bike Week is fun but that most bikersjust want to party and not spend $$. I'm headed back the week of 4-11, maybe I'll see you there!

Re: Is it Golf Season Yet? Atlanta and Myrtle Beach
I am also in the process of getting a permit to work in ATL. First and foremost you have to be hired before you can apply for the permit. When I went for my audition all they did was look at me naked and gave me the info I needed to get the permit. It takes 2 days not one, so if you don't live there like myself that means two days of sitting around doing nothing.
The first day you must take a money order of $50, fill out paperwork and have your finger prints taken. When you go back 2 days later you must have a money order for $300. If there are no arrest warrants the permit will be issued and if there are I guess that lady gets taken to jail (not that that would be an issue with you).
If you don't know your way around you should call a cab as finding your way to the building that houses the permit unit is very difficult.
As far as Myrtle goes you never know, the money can be good but there are so many girls that show up all thinking that they are going to bank. Some girls do and some can't even pay for their hotel rooms. It is a great place to go if you want to just get away and go on vacation and work a little on the side. If a girl goes there in dire need of money it's a large risk to take, depending on how far she comes and how much it will cost for her to get there.
Masters and the CrazyHorse are good places to work compaired to the others. However, The CrazyHorse makes you sell stuff every hour and does the whole buy one get one free dance thing. I have found that many guys just wait on that to get dances. Selling features is very time consuming there. Also there are a ton of girls.
Masters does about the same thing but it is a better deal for the girls I think. It usually consists of one table dance and 1 item, I cant remember the price. One thing about Masters, It is the the most nasty place I have ever worked during golf season. The problem is not the house girls but girls who come from all over. If this type of thing bothers you then I would recommed you not work there. Myself, I act like nothing is going on and do what I came to do.
The Crazyhorse can be nasty too but they resreve that for the upatairs VIP rooms and not the regular couch room so its not in your face and other guys don't wonder why you are not doing the same thing to them.

Re: Is it Golf Season Yet? Atlanta and Myrtle Beach
I forgot to tell you that the permit office in ATL is only open from 9am to 2 pm. I am not sure what days they are open. Please make sure to check before you just drive up there. The number to the permit office is 404-853-4470.

Re: Is it Golf Season Yet? Atlanta and Myrtle Beach
Hmmm........doesn't sound like ATL is going to be happening this spring.
Are there any Myrtle Beach clubs that are good and DON'T make you sell crappy fucking merchandise? I hate doing that sooooo much it makes my blood boil. Strippers on this site who have worked with me before can attest to that..........

Re: Is it Golf Season Yet? Atlanta and Myrtle Beach
I've been wanting to try the carolinas too!
Michelle, you are in the Tampa area, right? Maybe we could drag Elle with us and meet Katrine there :)

Re: Is it Golf Season Yet? Atlanta and Myrtle Beach
Belle, Iam in pinellas. Around 30 minutes from you guys. I worked at masters twice I liked it better than pure gold which I thought was dirtier. Though back then I was working at no contact clubs so it was dirty to me but compared to here in florida its similar. But the clubs in mb are topless only.

Re: Is it Golf Season Yet? Atlanta and Myrtle Beach
Oh I forgot. I also likes masters better because they do less reviews than pure gold. I wouldnt advise any other clubs there katrine I went to pink pony and derieres and they were trashy but I saw 1 really pretty girl at pink pony doing well.

Re: Is it Golf Season Yet? Atlanta and Myrtle Beach
The small clubs can be ok but in many of them the girls are very territorial and violence due to jealously is quite common. I heard the Doll House is ok but you have to wear gowns.

Re: Is it Golf Season Yet? Atlanta and Myrtle Beach
Michele - I was gonna PM you this but your box is full. Heh.
Hi Michele, I read in the Myrtle Beach thread that you'd think about going if you could find someone to watch your daughter.
I have a huge travelling bug (stuck in Iowa at the moment) but have a 20 month old daughter. I am actually going to AZ for two weeks at the end of this month, and am taking another dancer friend with me. We're going to alternate nights working/babysitting the little one.
Was wondering if you would ever want to travel to the same spot as me, share a hotel, and we could alternate babysitting both girls? Something you'd be interested in?
love
cali

Re: Is it Golf Season Yet? Atlanta and Myrtle Beach
You girls please be careful.... Myrtle Beach is known for it's hellacious crime rate. There are tons and tons of assholes who live there who are looking to prey on hottie dancers.

Re: Is it Golf Season Yet? Atlanta and Myrtle Beach
erotictonic...I don't know where you got your information, but it isn't bad at all. I have had no problems with Myrtle Beach, and I have been here a bit over a year. It all depends on who you associate yourself with...as in any walk of life.
The only problem I have found is deadbeat boyfriends that prey on dancers to support them. lol...

I lived there for 9 years. Crime rate is awful. Don't you ever read the Sun News?
Check out this link : Myrtle Beach is named the #1 Worst Medium-sized City for Crime :
Worst Medium Cities for Crime
1. Myrtle Beach, SC
Myrtle Beach has the highest total rate of crime in the nation, due to a high rate of violent crime and the nation's highest rate of property crime. In particular, the rates of assault, burglary and larceny are particularly high.
And yes, tons of deadbeat guys there (especially musicians) to hook up with.

Yea, N. Myrtle is better.... but does pull some criminals out from Atlantic Beach. Anyways, a local psycho followed me around there for years, literally trying to make my life hell. Be careful with who you get involved with. The locals are just mad.
