Well, I am actually a Certified Pharmacy Technologist and I believe Pamela is correct. With a prescription, the pharmacist cannot actually refuse you birth control unless they don't carry the specific kind a person is prescribed. Even if the insurance rejects paying for it, you can still pay full price and there isn't much he can do about it. However, if he just does'nt like you, he can refuse to give you service which is what it sounds like to me. As far as physicians, I think the only reason they wouldn't prescribe is for some medical reason. Other than that , I think they have to as well if you request it.
