I wanna hit the hell outta this girl...
Last night I walked into the club. and on the way to the dressing room I see a customer from last month who spent $500 on me last time. So I give him a little smile and say be right back with my sexy costume...
Come downstairs and just as I sit at his table the waitress brings him this huge steak for dinner. I knew he was good for a lot of dances, so I hang around for 30 mins while he eats his food and chat. Then, when he was done eating, he was like 'lets go to the vip'. We're standing next to the champ room doors, he has just agreed to do an hour, then this little bit*h comes up to us.
She has been at the club for about 2 months, looks very young, and is about 100 lbs soaking wet. She comes up to him and starts pulling on his sleve like a little kid, and she's like 'I wanna tell you something' and tries to wisper in his ear!
I'm like 'excuse me...' and then she says ' thats ok, we're friends, it's not business, I"m his friend. (later he said this was garbage)
She started whispering in his ear again, and I was so stunned that I just stood there for a couple seconds, then he said to her 'Look, you just lost out on a few hundred bucks, but I'm busy now, better luck next time'.
Then she starts whining about how the bouncer called the dj and she came down to look for him and looked for him all over. WTF??
Basically the customer told her to get lost, so I didn't have to (missed my first chance anyway). He said that once he had talked to her, but they were not friends or something. He said that she was Russian and he had recently visited there so she thinks they have a lot in common, but no, they are not friends. By this time my blood was boiling.
After the guy left I went,... um,... 'looking' for this girl. But she was already gone for the night. Which is a good thing, because I was gonna punch the fuck out of her customer-stealing-skank-ass.
New girls! Ugh!
Hope I see her tonight... tbc

Re: I wanna hit the hell outta this girl...
Oh, god, please don't hit her. You'll just get in trouble, and even if everyone thinks you are justified at the time, later on and for all time you'll be known as a psycho. (this isn't personal experience. One of my dancer roommates was robbed of over $1000.00 - not like, someone took her customer, like this other girl went into into her room and took it. She beat the hell out of her (the girl in question did take it by the way, there was no mistake) and everyone at the time said they would be similarly angry. After a while though, every time something went wrong or something bad happened, it was obviously her fault because she was psychotic. Even weird passive aggressive stuff that was completely incompatible with her reputation as a violent psycho. So, don't hit her.
But really. What a fucking bitch. Do NOT, ever, ever, ever approach a customer who is with another dancer unless one of them invites you. I don't care if it's your dad - okay, strike that. It's gross. If he was all that close and pally, he's be like "Hey - unnamed skinny girl! C'mon over and join us in the VIP!" If he didn't do that, he obviously is not longing for her company.

Re: I wanna hit the hell outta this girl...
I would have told her to get lost. I would have been very rude to her. I would have made her THINK I was going to whoop her ass, which is sometimes lots better than actually doing it. I would still make her think I was gonna kick her ass though. Better to have her afraid shes gonna get it for pulling that shit, so she wont come around you or your customer(s) anymore.

Re: I wanna hit the hell outta this girl...
Ok, any suggestions then?
Let here do it again maybe?
Go yell at her, then she just starts yelling at me... those are always fun.
-
Re: I wanna hit the hell outta this girl...
In the end you got the customer and she has probably annoyed him enough that possibly he will not show an interest in her next time .
-
Re: I wanna hit the hell outta this girl...
I have no suggestions - that's part of what makes it so rude, there is nothing you can do about it without doing something worse. But, hey, don't get the wrong idea. I know I'm not the boss of you and you are a grown woman. If you think the best way to handle the situation is by hitting her, by all means, hit her. On the other hand, it seems that the situation was handled beautifully (i.e. it came out in your favour) without you having to do anything at all - which is always the best way anyway. Or maybe I'm just lazy.

Re: I wanna hit the hell outta this girl...

I'll think about this.

Re: I wanna hit the hell outta this girl...
First of all, doing or saying anything to the other dancer in front of your customer is a really bad idea. It's unprofessional and it ruins the rapport you have with your customer. When she said, "I just need to talk to him real quick...we're friends" you should have responded with, "Tell you what, I'll be happy to leave you two alone to catch up as soon as we're done having fun together." and left it at that. You should also be telling your club management as well. Having someone in their club this volitile is a really bad idea and sooner or later, it's going to come to fists either with you or somone else (preferrably someone else...you don't need that drama).

Re: I wanna hit the hell outta this girl...
Well, from the perspective of a new girl...I think that if you make her afraid of you in general without pointing out what for exactly...that would scare me and make me try to figure out what I did. If the girl asks you later why you are being mean to her tell her straight out, that she started it by being rude to you. I am very worried that I'll step on a veterans toes until I learn all the rules, but if I did do it. I'd appreciate someone putting me in my place. Mostly I suggest teaching her to just stay away from you...however you'd like to do that is fine (except maybe punching the poor girl, sounds like you'd f*ck her up pretty good anyway ;)

Re: I wanna hit the hell outta this girl...
The only challenge with this though Heaven is that you are under the impression that this girl has a conscience. She would not have done what she did if she had an ounce of respect for others or had any moral center. She did what she did completely on purpose and that intent was to steal the sale away from someone else. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. You have to realize, this girl KNOWS she's obnoxious, so telling her that she is won't make any difference in the world. If anything, she's probably just laugh at you and do it again. Girls like this remind me of the school bully. The bully knows they are a bully. Telling them to stop being a bully only makes them want to do it more. The best way to handle this is to let someone with a decision making ability in the club know that by having this girl around, it's bad for business, the customers are uncomfortable, and that she's a bomb waiting to go off. When they understand that it is a bad business decision to have her around, that is when a positive change will happen and not before.

Re: I wanna hit the hell outta this girl...
It sounds to me like this little girl went up to this man and didn't want to sit around and wait for him so she could make some money. Like, she was going to let him eat...whatever...and then try to get him later. Her bad. She also may not have known that the customer was VIP material...thinking that since she'd already spoken with him that night that he was "her" customer and she was just going to take him back when she saw him at the VIP room. Not acceptable...and if she is a very new dancer...she may not understand that, although the business is very competitive, what she did was absolutely and positively not acceptable. In any way.
I don't think that there is anything that you SHOULD do. If she does something like this again, politely and firmly tell her that she's over-stepping her bounds. Go tell management (actually, you need to tell them about the last time anyways). There are some customers that thrive on dancer drama...however, MOST customers do not like being in the middle (unless it's a 2 girl dance) of any dancers. This kind of behavior of the other girl will effectively chase the customers away...eventually.
Keep your hands to yourself. ;) Be polite...and deal with this issue in a grown up and responsible manner...any other way that you deal with it is only going to cause more drama.

DW is right, she was 100% outright trying to steal my sale and she was counting on me letting her get away with it. >:(

Re: I wanna hit the hell outta this girl...
Ok, this is a slightly different angle, but something that happened to me, so I'd like to get you guys opinion on it. I was in VIP with this guy for a few hours and he said he really liked me, some other girls came over t odance for him (sent from his friend) so I hugged him and told him I'd see him later. When I got back, they were still dancing for him so I just walked by and went on stage. WHen I was doing my set he came out and said to please come back and see him later that he 'loved me, I was his fav... blah blah, etc etc"
Well, when I went back some other dancer was with him, but just sitting, so I went and sat on the other side and we were all talking and he's like, please dance for me... so I was like okay and started dancing and I felt like a bitch to the other girl, but he had told me to come before...
what do you think?

Re: I wanna hit the hell outta this girl...
I need to say something about this. Did/does she appear to have only done this to you. I ask, because if you are very friendly wiht other dancers, you do (can) come across as an easy push-over.
I loved the company of CUSTOMERS, not dancers. Hello, and Bye was all they pretty much ever got from me. Alot of this is "pecking order" shit.
I highly doubt this girl would approach a dancer who intimidates her....really.
If you have in the past, don't be her friend, you are there to work. I seen many friendly veteran dancers get their ass in hot water with a new dancer coming along trying to steal a customer.
My policy was i WAS a bitch to the dancers, but Very generous to my customers, and the customers don't have to see this, eye contact to another dancer can very well mean "Back Off!"
If she does it often and to others, just chalk it up to her stupidity, and someone will kick her ass, you stay out of it. She's not worth you're job and battery charges.

Re: I wanna hit the hell outta this girl...
I your case PP I don't think that was your fault, as long as you just explain the situation. "Hey I'm back, should I come back later?" There are a few situations with someone sitting down with you where it's obvious the other girl is not trying to steal a sale, one is if the customer is a major regular known by all, another is moral support, and another is this one, being sent over. In these types of situations a lot of times the girl might even be GLAD you came to help her maybe so you both could get dances out of it.

Re: I wanna hit the hell outta this girl...
wow..i know that feeling of just wanting to punch a dancer for what they have done :) not a good idea thats for sure, but ya know it would feel good lol. dont do it.
im glad your custy stuck up for you to, concrete's in your mind he is worht the effort of waiting for etc.
tbh im getting sick of the new girl these days, coming into the clubs thinking the own the damn place a weeks after they start. i remember back in the days when i first started, the new girl sat their and shuttup to "older" dancers, the longer youd been there, they more you could tell the young'unsto fuck off.lol i rememeber how much it sucked for me, and now that im an oldie, therees no hierachy :(

If the customer ASKS you to come over...it's not "stealing" a customer. If you see a dancer with a customer and going to VIP and you walk up and try to edge in...that's a big no-no. Same rule applies to a guy who is sitting with a dancer. If he's actively engaged in conversation with another dancer...stay away.

Re: I wanna hit the hell outta this girl...
Don't do anything. Get over it. Its going to keep happening and you need to hold your head up like a lady. A girl tried to do it to me today. I was over it in 5 seconds. It will benefit you greatly all around.
Besides, you don't know what can happen when you fuck w a russian ;) j/k. That chick sucks, you are the superior dancer. Even your customer knows that. She made an ass out of herself and he probably isn't going to be spending much more on her in the future due to her behavior. You didn't have to do a thing......let the others dig their own graves......

Re: I wanna hit the hell outta this girl...
We have a girl jsut like this where I work. We do ONLY table dances and set our own prices, and management is absolutely useless. What this girl does (actaully there are 2 of them) is walk up to somebody you are talking to, start talking to them, and then undercut you with a lower price and/or extras. My standard pitch involves giving the custy a nice little backrub, so I get hit with this a lot, as the customers are facing away from me. These two girls do this to everybody, though. Any suggestions how to reclaim a sale from these little skanks without looking as bad as them?

Sounds like you need some technique other than the backrub, which, as you've identified, is leaving the customer wide open to be approached. Plus they can't see your hot bod when you're back there! You're softening the guy up but his radar is pointed out to spot someone else. Not strategically good.

242.. I’m glad you didn’t lower yourself to her standards although she could use a slap in the face… which by the sounds of it, your customers did that just fine!

Re: I wanna hit the hell outta this girl...
Hey everyone,
Last night I went in to pick up some $$ and I had another good look around for this girl. She wasn't there again.
Guess I'll see her sometime though...

Re: I wanna hit the hell outta this girl...
I say 2 lefts,a forward jab with the right, followed by an uppercut should do the trick.
hehehehehehehehh jus kidding!!!!!!
Its a 500 dollar fine for the girls here if they fight,we dont get alot of them.I can count the ones in the last 5 years on one hand, and still go bowling.
When we do have one,its a humdinger because both parties agree that its worth the 500 and generally they result in some purty good knock down drag outs from girls that are worthy of espn highlight reels.
