Sex.
But seriously, I think there's no party (at least neither of the major 2) who really study issues, make a decision and stand by the principles of the organization. I don't mean passing issues,,,I mean core values like "Fiscal Responsibility" (once a core value of Republcans...now the leading debtor party).
Of course, I want MORE corruption and backroom deals (OUCH!)....just kidding
Nah....I just want the $$ needed to "become a contender" brought down, so REAL people with REAL ideas have a chance....
and term limits for congress ...oh and get rid of "seniority rules" and make it "most qualified" rules.
While we're at it, send me a an apple pie served on Catwoman's naked stomach (as likely to happen as the others).
I want HONESTY. No political party, except for the green party maybe, could satisfy my desires for this.
I want a government that doesn't trample the Constitution while it serves the interests of those within it. I want less bipartisan bullshit and more work to get done. I want an end to porkbarrel projects. I want the endless list of agencies to be drastically reduced.
Mostly, I want somebody to get our federal government back to the size it was intended to be when it was designed.
I believe the government we have now was the government we were intended to get, judging by the framers of the Constitution. They were the bad guys amongst the "Founding Fathers", by my reckoning.
The Constitution is working perfectly. The problem is, it is statist..
The Free City of San Diego sounds like a nice name for a city-state-nation.

The purpose of the federal government is to provide a single voice for the United States in international affairs, to regulate interstate trade, to protect individuals' civil rights through the Supreme Court, and to settle disputes between states. That's it.
The states are supposed to raise taxes and use them as they see fit. Education, gun control, civil law, real estate law, are issues that the federal government has no business trying to regulate. Social Security is bullshit. Where did they get the power to collect and distribute Social Security money? I see nothing in the Constitution that grants them such power.
I want to see the ATF, FBI, CIA, IRS, Border Patrol, and ICE disbanded. I want the National Guard to be back under the control of individual state governors, instead of being used as reserves for our federal Army under the control of the President. I want the federal income tax system eliminated and most social engineering programs and welfare dropped too.
Let each state decide what's good for it's citizenry through the democratic process. What works in one state might not suit another.
A little return on an investment in "contributions" would be nice. Democrats use to be all about the pork. The GOP is giving away boatloads of favors and not even being shy about. Besides a little ROI, I want them to fight to the death to stop this tort reform nonsense. It's downright unamerican.
Ahh yes, the commerce clause. Back in the 18th century, interstate commerce was far more limited than today. States had very distinct regional character and commercial interests. These distinctions are now to a great degree anachronisms. Agriculture is not the slave to climate it once was, nor is industry limited by transportation. Southerners like to hold on to their notions of the old south, but the reality is that Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, and Minneapolis are all pretty damn similar, as are smaller towns. Aside from the nicer weather and outrageous housing prices here. We all buy the same groceries, buy the same Chinese made crap at Best Buy, eat the same indigestible fast food, and watch the same crappy movies and TV. Interstate commerce is no longer incidental, it touches almost everything. Hence, for better or worse, regulating interstate commerce has become the rationale for most of what you complain about. Would you believe the de facto national speed limit is justified under the interstate commerce clause?Quote:

Making the masses as homogeneous as possible is highly profitable for large multinational corporations. Unit cost goes down, profit goes up. This embedded motivator is now far more than interstate. Mainland China has over a thousand Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurants. Its the new world order. In case you forgot who was really in power, it's not the puppets in DC, Sacramento, Austin or Albany. It's the puppeteers in Houston, Los Angeles, NYC and Atlanta. I've resigned myself to get down with the sickness.
I WANT A NEW PARTY!! The liberals suck. The conservatives suck even more. The NDP is lead by a man who reminds of Big Bird. I love the Bloc Québecois and vote for them but they can never actually lead the country. So we need a new party, a new fresh face; maybe we could start a reality show like "Canada's Next Premier" I would wait in line for that one!!
