Question For Strippers with "Sugar Daddies"
Here's something that I sometimes wonder about: For those strippers who have "sugar daddies" i.e. guys who are spending major amounts of money on you OTC but whom you are not dating in a normal sense: What do you think the motivations for these "sugar daddies" typically are? My second question, is how do you feel about these sugar daddies as people? Are they objects of your contempt whom you are just try to milk for maximum money but whom you have no real feelings for or do you actually understand why they do what they do?
I've always found the sugar daddy/stripper relationship somewhat strange and can't really understand why someone would want to be a sugar daddy. Thus I appreciate any honest insights here.
Needless to say if there are real sugar daddies reading this board I would be interested in hearing about your motivations. No wannabe/posers though please!
Thanks,
RIL
Re: Question For Strippers with "Sugar Daddies"
Sounds like you're getting set to make the offer to that special dancer you've been contemplating asking out. Well offering her a SD arrangement might just cause her see you outside the club. It could work but are you ready for that? I've been a sugar daddy and it takes a certain kind of man to be able to pull it off and not feel like a total jerk day in and day out. You give this girl money to live on, to help her out and it's cool at first, it's cool when she's with you and squeezing your arm in public and you think people are looking at you like, wow, there's a guy that must be the shit. But really if the dancer you date dresses like a dancer OTC and is considerably younger than you, well that's not what they're thinking. Or at least that's what you start thinking they're thinking and it truly fucks you up. Even it things progress to the bedroom you start thinking about the money and you can't tell if things are real or faked. Like I say you have to either be so secure in yourself and really just want another pretty thang on your arm or you're pathetic enough to think anything is real about the relationship based on cash. Either way is a pretty shallow experience in the end. If you really like her it eats you up when she doesn't call you back and when she treats you less than a boyfriend and if you just want a pretty face around you start wondering why you're giving her money if she's not satisfying you in the ways a man needs. From your previous posts I'd say you were the kind that could not handle this kind of arrangement. It would eat away at your wallet and your soul. Why not spend the money on a few therapy sessions and try to bolster your self confidence and a few more bucks on a physical trainer and a few more on a fashion consultant and then go out and find some real connections. Then once you land a wonderful woman and marry her you can start going back to the SC's and I'm sure with the confidence and the ring you'll be able to score a great OTC session.

For one, why even ask such a question. That to me would be something just a tad to personal and it smacks of someplace I'm not willing to go. Like the nunyadamnbusiness area.
My two cents worth.

Well some SugarDaddies just get pleasure out of being generous to others. I find that to be pretty common among SugarDaddies actually.
Some are hoping to get laid and get off on the thrill of the chase.
Others just enjoy having some arm candy.

Take that advice man. It's not a healthy (mentally) way to live your life.

I suspect that there are a lot of semi-sugar-daddies out there, eg. guys who enjoy helping an attractive, personable, intelligent and hard working young girl get ahead in the world, and aren't looking for sex in return. I frankly don't see anything wrong with that. I've been known to do it myself.

Most are simply generous people who want to spread the wealth and make people smile. I see nothing wrong with it. That said, I will never, ever see anyone OTC.
Re: Question For Strippers with "Sugar Daddies"
RIL, I've had many-a-men pay me to do something or other that was not sexual in nature. As soon as they rubbed me the wrong way, I told them to take a hike. Asking too many questions, calling me too much in one day, a political view. Didn't really matter, I blamed them and broke their hearts. The thing is, I never hated any of them. I just couldn't see them as real people. They were people inlove with the idea of me, not me. So when I wasn't with them, I took my boyfriend on vacation, baught a new dress to go on a first date with someone in, bought a new vibrator, etc. You're setting yourself up, man. You seem nice. You should be in a 'normal' relationship. Perhaps you're attracted to a wounded bird? You can't save them. People have to save themselves. Go to the club to have fun, not to find love. It's hard for any of us to hold your heart in steady hands when we're thinking about money. Especially if you're the main source of income. Good luck with all of this. I wish the best for you.
