Competing with extras girls
Where I work, ther eare a bunch of very pretty girls who give nice, clean, legal dances. Then there are 2 extremely homely girls who have no personality whatsoever, but they give extras. Every time I dance for somebody after one of those girls does, it is a fiasco. Guys trying to take my panties off, put thier hands down my pants, grab my boobs, pinch, lick, etc.
OF course, when I correct them they always tell me "but the other girl let me!"
I do tell them the rules before I start.
What would you do?
And while we are at it, does anybody have a fun way to put a positive spin on the "rules"?
Re: Competing with extras girls
What to do? Nothing. There is an equation for every dancer which is something like looks+charm+action and either your equation adds up to more than theirs (theirs being the extra girls in question), or it doesn't. There is no way to force the customer to give 80% weight to the "charm" if he is currently giving it to "action." Just move on to the customers that weight it in your favour.
In terms of spin, the one I like is "Okay, how about we do it this way? You stay still and I'll move."
Re: Competing with extras girls
Or how bout you go tell mgt that these girls are giving extras, and the customers they dance for want you to do it also? I believe it would be the common sense thing to do, tell mgt?

I say funny and corny stuff like,"That girl was a 4x4.You can drive those through mud.Ferraris don't get dirty".
That works for me.
Re: Competing with extras girls
Get your coworkers fired if they are in the minority and hence of no political significance. If they are to close to being typical go to work for another club.
Re: Competing with extras girls
It's not just the not-so pretty girls that do extras... sometimes it is the pretty ones who don't really know how/want to hustle that do it. They always tell me, what do you care? it is not hurting you. They don't seem to understand the point you brought up... it makes customers expect extras from the non-extras girls who are following the rules. One bad apple in a club spoils it for everyone. Unfortunately, management often doesn't get it either.... until the club get shuts down maybe. If management does care, then it is so easy for a jealous girl to accuse another (falsely) of extras. This is why I always insist on knowing where the cameras are and doing all private dances in the most surveiled area possible if I can. I'm always suspicious of the dancer who goes out of her way to go to the least visible area of the club. Anyway, if I'm falsely accused (happens often) I always say, play back the tape. In fact I'll demand it. If management refuses then you know some kind of railroading is going on. Non-hustling girls will accuse us hustling ones of everything under the sun... extras... doing half price dances... drugs... even theft. What hurts is when management won't even listen to the truth. I've even been accused of not exposing enough of myself. (Instant new club 'rule'... just made up... never in writing.) So much for wanting to stay legal.... Another problem is that management doesn't want the girls to know what the law is. If they did they would post the statutes prominently. But they don't seem to know the law either. That's why I always carry around all state and municple laws and alcohol control board regulations and legal definitions. Just to prove I know what I'm talking about.
Re: Competing with extras girls
It annoys me when I dance for someone and I'm not letting them touch me and there is a very attractive girl next to me grabbing her customers hands and putting them on her boobs... not much I can do about it.

aaaah! too cute!!;D
Re: Competing with extras girls
I am definitely going to try that. I have a line I use now, in a similar vein: "Now that you are done kicking the tires on the chevettes, your Cadillac is ready for a drive."
Also, I have been thinking aobut this and have come up with another approach:
him: Can't I touch your pussy?
me: Is that the kind of dance you usually have?
him: yeah
me: OK, I understand. Listen, you are going to need both hands to hang on to your hat because I am going to give you a dance like you've never had before!
I am going to try that one out Monday. Any feedback?
Also, how about his one:
me: You can touch me anywhere on my body ecept my boobs and my g-string.
him: What's left? (Yep. I hear this quite a bit!)
me: Just let me show you!
What do you think?

Actaully, I am working on this one. One of the two extras girls has her few regulars and does not hustle, so she does not really concern me. The other one hustles like crazy, and basically tells guys she will give more milage than anybody else. The thing is, the agency I work for will not fire her and the bar will not fire her, each one says it's the other's responsibility and they do not see anything going on. I am constantly ratting her out, to no avail.
I have started a campaign among the other girls, persuading them that one extras girl in the club ruins it for all of us, devalues us, etc. Because I am persuasive and passionate about the subject, good to everybody, a good earner and basically respectable, they seem to believe me. Since I am the one who always has safety pins, hair spray, costumes to lend, and so on, they have more of an interest in staying on my good side than on hers.
This girl is ruining the workplace for all of us, and I am becoming desperate to get rid of her. Besides peeing in her bag (which has occured to me) I can't figure out what else to do! Any ideas?

yah, but what if nothing happens to them then you look like a nark.
Re: Competing with extras girls
Have you actually talked to the extra's girls? maybe if you talked to them and asked why they are allowing the guys to touch them inappropraitly you might get somewhere. If you say that she might be making a little money right now, but putting the whole bar in jepoardy, therefore theratening everyone's jobs she might be a little more discrete or move on to greener pastures.
I would handle it by paying the bouncer to enforce the rules on her. Tell him that everytime you see him correct her dancing style that you will pay him and additional $5 over and above his usual tip out. Get the other clean dancers in on this as well. He will watch her and her customers like a hawk, her income will plummet (what customer wants a bouncer breathing down his neck while he is getting a dance?), and the problem will resolve itself in a short time. If all the rest of the dancers are paying the bouncers to watch her, she won't be able to compete financially (pay the bouncer for inattention). This assumes that you have bouncers, that they earn tips, and that they care about making money. If that is the case this may be the most peaceful way to get your point accross. The girl who is breaking the rules will be forced to stop.
I hope that you get things taken care of. I would hate to have one or two girls ruin things for me in my club. Good luck to you.
Re: Competing with extras girls
^^^Paris, you are very intelligent and witty, i love the advise you gave...
Re: Competing with extras girls
Paris you are SMART. I really like the idea of dealing with it like that.
Re: Competing with extras girls
Actaully, I have talked to her. I have talked to the agent (manager) who has also talked to her. She insisnts she is not doing anything, and that it is legal and OK because they are not going under her clothes actaully it IS illegal in Illinois, and she IS letting them go under her clothes.) I have ratted her out to the bar staff as well, and pretty much admitted to being a big nark because I want to protect my working enviornment. I hadn't thought about talking to the bouncer, but I will give that a try. Trouble is, he only works thursday-sunday, and I work monday-thursday. I have considered bringing in a few of my friends to spy on her and complain to the bar about her, hoping that mass customer disgust will help them get the hint.
Besides that, I wonder how many times a person would need to get itching powder in their bag before they started looking for a less--ahem--abrasive working enviornment.

Re: Competing with extras girls
Just remember one thing, these girls are putting you and the damn club that may not seem to care at a risk. Next time you see any action....Get management NOW. Nark, tough shit, i feel i have saved my ass many times when a slut was giving head in VIP. TELL.

Re: Competing with extras girls
I just left my last club because I couldn't deal with the extras girls. I tried talking with management, telling customers the rules, etc...but ultimately nothing was going to change where i was. The club (i didn't know this till recently) has been known for heavy prostitution (which is on the decline, but there are still a few) and customers were coming in expecting extras. In addition, management turned there heads when certain high paying customers came in or when girls decided provide extras (it was making the club money.) I ended up having to find a club that is extremely strict with rules (or you get fired) so that I didnt have to compete with the extras girls (which was the majority).
It sounds to me like the extras girls may be in the minority. I could be wrong. I would go with the other girls suggestions. And as for the unruly customers I really like OTB's solution: "That girl was a 4x4.You can drive those through mud.Ferraris don't get dirty".
