Ever fell in love with a custy?
Last night was my first time. After my stage show, one of the guys who didn;t tip, asked me to come have a drink with him and his group of buddies. If they're not gonna tip me I'm sure as hell gonna take the booze. So I get over there and immediatly fall in love. He is the man of my dreams. Buff but slim, not too tall, long golden hair, bright blue eyes (kinda looked like Johnny Depp). The more we talk, the more I realize how much I love him. He's a firefighter (I LOVE FIREFIGHTERS), he's single, etc, etc... He tells me that we would be perfect together, and so on. I had to resist cause I have a man at home, and had to decline all of his offers.
Has this ever happened to you?
Re: Ever fell in love with a custy?
Yeah, this will happen all the time. Some girls never have feelings like this at work - which is the smart thing to do. But a lot of us do. I get crushes all the time. They never last for long, tho. I try to implement my money making skills with my crushes. I know we shouldn't have these feelings, but sometimes these guys are just so cute!
But be careful, I worked at a club where this group of guys would hang out at specifically to hit on all the newbies. They were very successful at it. These guys know just what to say. Sometimes it would be fun to sit there while it was slow just to be showered with compliments.
So just remember, there are guys that see a newbie, and know how easy it can be to get that tail.
Re: Ever fell in love with a custy?
yeah, I met my b/f at work.
Re: Ever fell in love with a custy?
It is fantasyland, and I don't think the customers are the only ones susceptile to falling into it. A girl at my club is thinking about changing the relationship between her and her regular into something real. Thing is, it would put a dent in her income regardless of outcome.
Re: Ever fell in love with a custy?
^ true to an extent. Regulars come and go. They do typically have a shelf life. Finding "the one" in the strip club has got to be rare as hell. I'm not even saying that mine is "the one" but maybe he is. Basically I'm just answering her title question, which in my case is a resounding YES :)
in your friend's case, Gerina, depending on his cashflow and intentions, being his girlfriend could potentially be more profitable. :dazzled:
Re: Ever fell in love with a custy?
I wouldn't call it love, but I ended up dating a guy I met while working.......and the ass lied to me, after 3 weeks of dating I found out the truth, he was married and had a little kid! Of course he told me he was single, blah, blah, blah.......I was so pissed I fell for his BS and never dated anyone I EVER met in the club again. No matter how sweet they seemed or whatever.
Thank god after that I met my BF of 4 years now. ;D We didn't meet while I was working. The hardest thing at the time was telling him what I did for a living. I would be very weary of dating anyone you meet while dancing. It's such an artificial world inside the club.

Decline the booze. I'd rather have the money. I would never date a guy who looks for love in strip clubs. I would never date a guy who asks out a stripper while she is on duty. I would never date a guy who is too cheap to tip.
This sort of thing happens on everyone's first night. Soon you will realize that you are working, not socializing.
Re: Ever fell in love with a custy?
I have been living with my b/f for 8 months or so now, and we have been together for a year exactly. And we met at the club while I was working. I asked him out! Good look girl!
Firefighters are hot!
Re: Ever fell in love with a custy?
Hmmmm...I'd "fall in love" with every single customer. LOL...it's how I kept the money flow up. When the money stopped flowing, I'd "fall out of love".
Of course, I have to say...I am very happy with my SO. But, I know a lot of dancers who are dating lots of customers...not because they'll make more money "doing extras" (which is not why) but because they "fall in love". The club, for the most part, is just a big fantasy land. You are not "who you are" and the guys are usually not either.
Can you meet your SO at a club? Sure...but, from what I've seen...the rare exception is that the relationship ends up working out.
Re: Ever fell in love with a custy?
i had one (drunken) incident of making out, but i wouldn't call it love. or even a crush really. mostly i just hung out with them outside of the club a few times because i was rebounding from an almost 2 yr relationship and my work schedule made it impossible for me to meet someone any other way.
but i worked with two girls who had signifigant others they'd met at the club. one was actually married to her's.
Re: Ever fell in love with a custy?
Yes, it happened. I got his phone number and didn't call him for 6 months. After I had everything sorted out, like kicking my old boyfriend to the curb, and never seeing this guy in my club again, I called him. It was so out of the blue and random for him, as he had forgotten who I was after 6 months.
We just bought a house together. I don't think it would have worked out if I had called him the next day. He doesn't come to my club and hasn't bought a dance since that night.
Re: Ever fell in love with a custy?
I've fallen in lust a few times. Never acted on it though!
Re: Ever fell in love with a custy?
Yes, I met my fiancee' that way, and we've been together 6 years. He was just out of town on business and was killing time in the club when we met.

me too! exactly like that! bastard. First and last time. I thought I was in love, too- I got SO played, which is really strange for me because I'm cynical and standoffish ;D
Sigh. I'm surprised at how common it is for girls to fall for cutomers! Now I think, "ew!".
But I'm glad it worked out for some.
Re: Ever fell in love with a custy?
Happened more often than I'm willing to admit---it's embarrassing because I was more deluded than even them. At least guys already walk into the club prepared for fantasy and if they score it's good and if they don't it's still good. I'd say have fun with it if you're really into the guy but more likely than not you're just another stripper he's trying to sack.
Re: Ever fell in love with a custy?
Wow, what a great variety of answers...
I don't think I would ever date a guy I met at the club either, mostly because I don't think I would want my boyfriend to hang out at a strip club 24/7... Most guys (this is a generalisation) who hang out at strip clubs, don't have the personality I am looking for.
The man, I "fell in love with" was everything I want PHYSICALLY.
Thanks for the answers
Re: Ever fell in love with a custy?
A little late as it seems you have received what you wanted out of this thread... however... whilst I have not fallen in love with anyone in the club as... like alot of people have said it isn't a "normal" environment and therefore I'm a little cynical about it all.... only once have I had "relations" with someone I met at work.
There was a whole thread about it in Ladies Only under "There is this guy...." (might not be there, you might have to search for it if you so desire). It was an LDR. It was lust pure and simple.... and I made it more than what it should've been.
We had time apart ("a break") and have since re-connected... we're not "going out" just having some fun (wink wink). I like it the way it is right now... I may not "see" him as he works on mine sites however we have enough fun (ie phone sex).
Otherwise, I generally do not see customers (regardless of how much they've spent on me). This is the only time I have given an exception to the "rule" (as such).
Re: Ever fell in love with a custy?
Yeah, "fell in love", got married, getting divorced.
