Only thing funnier than a collection of prude strippers are fat chicks ordering a supersized meal but with a diet coke
^ It's two double chesseburgers, large fries, a ice cream sundae, and a extra large diet coke.
Yes the pink side seems to be going through a lack of conversation or have all the dancers become prude. Prude being someone that who pays a great deal of attention to proper social behavior in a dissaproving manner. The conversations that have been going on there is even tamer than discussions on Oprah.
Wellllllllllllllll........................
A few months ago the ladies basicaly told all us estrogen challenged types that we where not wanted. That was followed up by a series of bannings and "site-wide ignores" or whatever the heck they call it. Ya want vanilla ya get vanilla. For a while I was spending a lot of time over there but lately it's been way too many "I need a new name" threads and not nearly enough honest interaction. I don't think that "prude" is the word I would use but boring certainly comes to mind. Oh well, all of these sights run hot and cold. The blue side can be a real snoozefest sometimes as well.
Yall just wait for the next Super Troll and thatll shake things up.....Wheres Princessjefflina the 2nd?
Well, the things that we consider prudish are the things that are actually legal in strip clubs generally.
Most of the dancers who are here take their jobs seriously. That's one reason why I'm here. I also take my job seriously, and I go to my own bulletin boards to keep up with things.
When I'm on my job-related bulletin boards, yeah, just like every job, there's shortcuts to take, or tactics to employ, or certain business practices that skirt the edge of propriety, or go away from it altogether. But we don't discuss those issues on a bulletin board that may be seen by the public. It would be unseemly.
So, no, you don't hear much about VIP blow jobs or dancers who encourage fondling, because when people take their jobs seriously, they don't want to get conversationally casual with the dirty laundry. When you have a job like stripping, when it's already not ranking terribly high in the public image, there's even more reticence.
That's my theory, anyway.
Extras dancers take their jobs seriously.
Horses for courses. I've always viewed the pink side as "dancer friendly" and the blue side as "anything goes". If on the pink side I trim my sails to the prevailing wind - it's simple courtesy.Quote:

If you extend that sample to the pink side, few of the dancers that do post will want to discuss things too bluntly - if so they've always got the option to come over to this side of the forum.
Phil.
I've received a few of those PMs myself.Quote:
Based on a few PM's I have received and on a few conversations I have had with dancers I know who read the site, some women are beginning to feel that expressing an opinion on the pink site is pointless if it means being shouted down or insulted by other dancers and then having a thread closed before a rebuttal can be posted.
The pink site is becoming increasingly sterilized.
yah, well 10 months or so ago i saw this coming. and when i was basically told that my way wasn't going to be accepted i stopped fighting it. im glad to hear that SW sucks now. congrats ladies. hope its everything you wanted.
Prudish fit what I was thinking of.
The "battle lines" things you guys are thinking of and talking about I never really noticed. I was really referring to prudeness the way it is normally used, except it's just more odd considering their profession.
yeah. The site seemed to have gotten really boring lately, but I thought it was just me...
Okay I first off I was surprised anyone answer this :) What I mean by prudish isn't lets talk about bj, hj, and anal sex in the SC or even their explicted discussions about sex in their personal lifes. I was more going for the common basic discussions going on there are lame 7 out of 10 posts and more tame than what is talked about on the View. I don't know if all of a sudden there was a flock of boring topics or more conversative posters. Even the posts seem to brink on the edge of having to be completely PC all the time to the umpth degree, well not even PC but what the "shot callers" over on the pink side feel is 'right'. A better adjective than prudish would be more bland. Yes the pink side has gone from fun and spicy to microbiotic bland.
Dolly: you have a great face for facials btw.
Two bets after I made that post: I will get hate PMs and I will be on site wide ignore.
Hmm.. I think I'll say thanks.Quote:

The ones who send you PMs are obviously the MOST prudish.Quote:

And another thing, the moderators seem to sometimes contribute to the overall boringness of the boards. As soon as things get interesting, ie topics begin to resemble realistic human interaction complete with conflicts, the discussion will be closed. >:(
I can't imagine you ever being boring Dolly....Quote:

Geez, considering that you all seem so happy over here there is some serious bitterness towards the pink side. All this "them bitches got the boring site they deserve for not wanting to hear about me eating stripper pussy" seems a little uncalled for. And, of course, I'm sure you haven't considered that maybe there are people in the world who might find unending repetitions of "Wow, Nameless Virtual Stripper, I'd really like to cum on your face" a little bland after a while.
Not me though. I find it interesting every time.
Oh yeah the sites gotten a little slow.
Sitewide ignores are ridiculous.... It's my choice whether or not I want to ignore someone. If the mods feel that a user shouldn't be on the site disable him and his IP addy.
Mods that believe only their opinion is valid are absolutely obnoxious! And when another person used some of their same posting tactics against them, and was deleted --- gone w/ all posts and comments wiped out--it gets a little scary, esp considering the political leanings of said mod. I'm almost afraid that said mod will send the FBI to track me down and pick me up.
But I don't think it's prudish. It's a stripper site and we talk about work, which is to create a fantasy for men. But don't confuse that we are continuing the fantasy for you on the site. The dancers aren't there to entertain men, so if someone is obnoxious, or wants to talk about sex, or just gives too many "male" opinions I can see why they wouldn't feel comfy.
It's like going to a strip club-- you'd expect to be treated like a king on the floor, but if you step into the dressing room, you'll get stepped on!
reminds me of a post I put on my triathlon forum asking about atheletes w/ boob implants-- how it affects time and training. All of the men posted --"Oh I hate big boobs" " Oh I love big boobs" "save your money and buy a bike" etc. The men jacked the thread w/ their comments, few of the women felt comfortable answering, and no one wanted the men's opinions in the first place.... They had nothing valid to add, because I didn't care about their opinion of my boobs, I wanted to hear women's experiences w/ boobs.
Dolly you crack me up. I'm glad you joined us over on the blue side. ;D
Oh, you critics are all terribly mistaken. We're neither prudes nor censors on the pink side. We've just learned all there is to know about the topics the blue side cares about. How to ignore the law and club policy, how to find dark places in the LD area, how to give long slow excruciatingly luscious BJs, how to up the level of extras to meet the competition, how to blot the kitty when we're getting so wet we're dripping all over a custy who's turning us on, how much we enjoy dicks being whipped out without warning, which condom - if any - is best for an OTC encounter, etc., etc. It's not we're trying to hide these tried and true methods. We simply know all that stuff since we do it day in and day out on EVERY frickin' customer.. er, I mean especially just for you. I realize those things make you boys hot just reading about it, but hey, that's old news for even the greenest newbie on the pink side so we're tired of talking and giggling about it. Guess you'll just have to go out and pay to observe these things firsthand before the cops overmoderate your local club. ::)

Ev, I know it was steeped in sarcasm, but your comment made me wonder. When dancers ask questions, why do other dancers post (sometimes over several months) everything except the answers? The Pinks need a designated Googler.Quote:

Let me tell you, sometimes I just wet myself with the excitement of topics like "My Boyfriend doesn't want me to strip...Woe is Me"
::gags::
I don't know if I'd say prudish, as I would say predictable. It like when someone asks a question up there, you know what the first three responses are going to say, sometimes verbatim. Maybe its more that some of us have been here to long and know the other veterans around here too well.
To be honest with you, I never really expected upstairs to be an entertainment venue for us blueballers, although I must admit that when I need a good laugh some of the stuff I read in Hustle Hut suffices for cheap comedy.
