what's a slip guard
You put it on the bottom of your boot (so I hear) so you dont fall on stage.
There is a store here in Chicago that sells them. You can call them. Go visit their website at http://www.skyscraperheels.com. The grips are not listed on line, but if you can call them (or send them an email) they may be willing to ship them to you.
I've looked on line and the only "no slips" grips I can find are cleats...LOL...now THOSE will come in handy with the problem customers!! LOL
Well, I hope that helps!
Dr. Scholls makes them. Or visit a shoemaker/shoe repair shop. THat is where I get mine.
Some clubs are kind enough to carry them in the vending machine.
If you have a payless shoe store in your area, they carry them.
Thank-you ladies
Rubber cutouts with adhesive on one side. It increases the friction between the shoe/boot and the stage. It would be possible to make them yourselves. I see custume stores carry them, but they are way overpriced, for what is in them. It's like paying a dollar and a quarter for a quarter cup of coffee as a store's profit center and lead-in.
I suppose I could figure out how to make slip-guards myself.
Sorry of refreshing an old thread, but happened to recently trip across a site online that sells the slip guards and remembered this thread.
Anyway here is a link incase anyone still needs it......

Best of luck!
