Re: Approaching Movie Stars?
In the event of a famous person I've found that it's better to cut the time to like 5 or 10 minutes to let them unwind.Other girls won't hesistate and celebrities are somewhat used to being approached quickly. I think the key is locking them in to your personality because they are not your typical guy who has never been in close proximity to so many hot girls,so just being cute and sexy isn't enough- in my experience celebrities hardly ever stick with one girl for dances or VIP for thier whole visit but they will develop a "buddy". Usually the first hot girl who doesn't kiss thier ass, doesn't want to talk about thier movies or hit records all night and is charming anfd funny and will pay them to stick around. This happened to me with an actor he stayed for about an hour and a half and he got about 300$ worth of dances from all different girls including a few from me but he bought me drinks, had the girls dance for me and broke me off with 500$ when he left.
Re: Approaching Movie Stars?
fuckin ignore them, let the other girls fawn all over them.
While the other girls are tripping into each other to get next to them, you should be aiming at the rest of the crowd, the guys the other girls are ignoring.
When the "star"see's you,if your what he wants,he will come to you,no need to be involved in the line up.
Most "stars"are a pain in the ass imo,Charlie Sheen and Kato Kalin top my list with Bruce Willis and Rusty Wallace running close behind.
Inside the walls, its your world, not thiers, act like it.
Or act like all the other girls, and all thier other groupies act.
Stars want the hunt to.
Re: Approaching Movie Stars?
Yeah, I agree, ignore the star. I've wasted my time on celebrities a few times. Let the other girls waste their time and get all the guys who are trying to get the girls' attention. Usually they'll spend more 'cause they want to show you they can be vip just like a star can. It's like the battle of who's dick is bigger, but they use their wallet.
Re: Approaching Movie Stars?
yeah i ignore any famous people that come into my club. Had a player from the Lions(yes...i know they suck) but anyways, had a decent player come in there and all the girls were crowding around them. I just said hi to one of the guys with the player and walked away. A few minutes later, the player was coming to find me because he wanted to get to know why i ignored him.
he was an ass anyways and i ended up walking away and spent time with the guys downstairs that were willing to spend money.
i'd rather not run into "stars". too much stress on us girls and the other customers in the club.
Re: Approaching Movie Stars?
Why would you ignore a customer "star" or not? Thats the same as ignoring a guy because he LOOKS like he won't spend money. I agree acting like a groupie and fawning all over them is ridiculous but a customer is a customer and should be approached as such, if he's an ass keep it moving. Simple as that.
Re: Approaching Movie Stars?
Most "Famous" people I've met in the club are asses. I'd rather sit with a regular customer (they come in more often... mathamatically more sound) then some guy who is visiting. In my experience, most "famous" people don't tip that well to deal with their overwhelming egos.
in all fairness, I've met a few that have been really nice, but those have been the people that I didn't recognize and onlly found out who they were after I either sat with them, or someone else told me.
Re: Approaching Movie Stars?
I agree, I know the environment and the truth is, when they know YOU know they have cash, no matter what you do, they think you're after the cash. Period. so they're tight asses about. Just act like they are any type of customer. Truth is, trying to hard with ANY customer has its draw backs.
Treat them like they are poor cause unless you're exactly what they are looking for, they'll probably spend like they are.
I'm sure showgirlchloe said something very good to read, but I can never read all the way through her posts cause I get distracted :/ :D

In my experience, ignoring the star is fine. You ignore them because about 99% of the other girls in the club are all crowded around them and their friends holding their hands out. Put yourself in there and you have about 1% chance of actually making bank.
I agree with BGMnM...let the other girls of the club all fawn over the star...and while they're there with dollar signs blinding them...make money off of the rest of the club. It's been done before...it's happened...and I've actually walked out with more money than the girls who were all over the star that came in.
Re: Approaching Movie Stars?
if you really DO want to get one: Pure's post #2. just don't overdo it and annoy - backfires.
Re: Approaching Movie Stars?
While a few celebs prefer to have their ass kissed and be fawned over, most do not , well in my experience anyway. Never ask for an autograph either. They came out to party- not work.
You get farther with a celeb if you treat them like any other high roller customer.
Re: Approaching Movie Stars?
I've only had one celeb customer be an ass to me..most are really nice.We get alot of bands in my club because we are highly sponcered by a local rock radio station. We're a smaller club so they normally buy dances from all the girls and just pick a few to sit with them.Just treat them like you would any other customer.Introduce yourself, don't make a big deal about who they are or what they do,if they are part of a band don't go on stage and dance to thier music,Be calm, don't be starstruck they are a person just like everyone else.If they are an unbearable ass walk away...there are plenty more customers around.
Re: Approaching Movie Stars?
/\ What everyone else said.
"Stars" are used to getting everything for free. Attention, drinks, you name it. Clubs encourage their freeloading behavior because they know that it's good PR for celebrities to be in attendance. I have personally watched Sean Pean and his posse, and Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee sit in a club, not spend a dime, and have girls swarm all over them. Clooney is known for being a cheap bastard too.
Re: Approaching Movie Stars?
Ignore the stars and make the money making average Joe's feel more important than the stars. Mmmm, neat trick. ^-^ Will use.

Re: Approaching Movie Stars?
I've had MUCh better luck with the "has-been" celebrities than the current hot tickets. During Superbowl, we had some current hot celebs come in, and they weren't the best custys. But one 80s "has been" guy came in and I was the only girl who recognized him...after a few minutes of "wow..you look like this guy'...and chit chat about his career, I just turned the convo around to regular stuff I'd talk about with any custy. I got quite a few dances from him, but no friggen TIP!
Then we had a current hot celeb in while he was filiming a movie in town....a bunch of the girls fawned all over him and he left, saying he didn't like the attention and had just wanted to lay low.
But then today we had a guy come in, and the DJ was the only one who immediately recognized him. He was in a HUGE 80's band....and looks SO much different today. He ended up sitting with one girl all day, and I'm fairly certain she made good money from him. I noticed him tipping her well on stage, and they went to VIP for awhile. But nobody in the club knew who he was for the longest time.
So from what I've seen, the celebs want to sit back and relax, no different from any other custy. They don't want their name and face plastered all over some gossip magazine, so the star gazing treatment can turn them off.
