There is a very interesting new website which gathers overseas publications' editorial views of the US, and translates them into English. The site offers an indispensable guide to how the world sees us.

Ha! I like the heading on the opening page 'A glimpse of how foreigners feel about the only superpower'. ::)
Seraya.
other good ones:
I'm American, but've lived most of my adult life overseas. Another phenomenon: alot of foreigners believe that they know at least as much, if not more about the US than Americans do, even if they've never even been to the place. gross stereotypes everywhere. I send links like this to family/friends for the same reasons you did probably.
and don't forget versus for two diametrically opposed views of every issue !
Aljazeera condemning terrorism in latest issue??? pretty interesting... We've got the Guardian as an Aljazeera surrogate over here...
I'm curious. Does the average person in other countries pay as little attention to the editorial page as they do here?
First off I just want to say interesting thread :)
Now..
The answer to your question is by and large, no. At least not in developed area anyway.Quote:

I don't know...I'm such a geek I actually read the shit...I think if the editorial headline says something like "The Downfall of America", or "The Evil American's did this that or the other" or something like that, then I think they do...gotta be a catchy headline right!
Tnt...you're very right. As an unofficial US Ambassador of Apologies in so many places, I've got my pat excuses down though... If you want to hear my inane rambling about it...
