Lazer hair removal - recovery time and other q's
I am thinking of having my pubes lazered off on this coming Monday, but I have to work on Wednesday.
Can anyone tell me how long it took to be ready to go back to the 'grind'?
Is there irritation to being with right after it's done?
Does the hair fall out in the session or later on?
And how long does the hair need to be for this to work right?
Would it be ok to have it done on Monday and work on Wednesday?
Thanks!!

That Same Day. You just can't expose that skin to the sun for i think 24 or 48 hours.

Yes but it dosen't last long about an hour. You'll have bumps, and it might irritate you.

at the session.
And how long does the hair need to be for this to work right? You can be shaved completely. They'll probably shave you anyway

Yes

You basically have to stay out of the sun and no sunless tanners for at least 2 to 3 weeks before and after treatments. I get them every 10 weeks so it's pretty much NO sun for the duration of the whole thing which is 5 to 8 treatments 10 weeks apart so basically no sun for over a year. I did mystic tan in between though. It's just got to be faded by the time you have the treatment.
it's a little irritated right after but it goes away quickly. You canshave before and after, just can't wax. My hair took like 2 weeks or so to fall out. You can shave right before you get it done.

thanks for replying
how many treatments did u both need?
Re: Lazer hair removal - recovery time and other q's
I only got 5, it was a package deal they had at my gyno's, and since i'm such a faithful patient, i got a discount :-)
Re: Lazer hair removal - recovery time and other q's
5 was enough, that's it forever?
Re: Lazer hair removal - recovery time and other q's
no you may need more, but i only got five, i still have one more to go. I definitely don't think its forever though, its more like permanent REDUCTION, which means for a while it might not grow back but eventually with time you'll be growing hair but hardly any.

Does it hurt? if it does, how bad does it hurt? :P
Re: Lazer hair removal - recovery time and other q's
I have had 3 so far and hardly have to shave but still get hair. It hurts worse in some areas than others. I think there are more nerves in certain spots down there or maybe less fat to pad the zap of the laser. I just know a couple spots hurt pretty bad and most of it was not bad at all. All in all it's no worse than a brazilian wax really though.
