Re: Vegas, Dallas, NYC????
I'm from Dallas and I love it but its not for everyone, maybe you should try taking a small vacation to each location before picking one of them.
Re: Vegas, Dallas, NYC????
I have worked in all 3 cities and in my experience, New York is very hit or miss money-wise and the cost of living is HIGH...But that's not stopping me from moving there.I love the city....I didn't care for Dallas and I didn't make too much money there. I found it to be a disappointment...In Vegas ,the cost of living is fairly low and I consistently made a lot of $$$$ every time I went to work.People go there to spend and to play...and even though a lot of girls do "extras," you really don't have to to make money. You do have to pay for a business license and a sherrifs card which will cost you a couple hundred bucks but it's well worth it.
Hope that helps.Happy stripping!
Re: Vegas, Dallas, NYC????
I have traveled to work a lot and recommend that you maybe first try Dallas. You could rent a full kitchen suite at Intown Suites there (www.intownsuites.com) for under $200 a week. Try it for a month, and then you could try Vegas by renting a monthly extended stay suite in the fall.
The cost of living in Dallas is good, and is cheaper than Vegas, especially housing wise. Dallas is a city of over 5 million people and Vegas 1.7 million. There are lots of clubs in the Dallas Ft. Worth area and no licensing is required.
Staying in each city a month or even 2 will give you a good feel of the lifestyle and income before moving everything there.
I have no experience with New York but obviously the lifestyle and cost of living is not something to experiment without a lot of financial resources.
Re: Vegas, Dallas, NYC????
nyc has really high house fees.. if you can hustle you will do EXTREMELY well there... a lot of girls go but its just not for them... i did well and i love it over there... vegas is a lap dance warehouse but not worth all the paperwork... try it out...

There have been 3 threads within just the last 2 weeks about Las Vegas with current info:

I live in NYC now, don't dance anymore but am familiar with the scene here. And cost of everything is very high. High house fees at decent money making clubs and cost of living is very high as well. At it's cheapest it's more expensive than anything in Las Vegas or Dallas.
Re: Vegas, Dallas, NYC????
Knowing clubs in all three cities as well ...
A. Manhattan clubs are indeed a 'feast or famine' situation. If a dancer 'clicks' in a top shelf Manhattan club the income potential can be truly amazing. On the other hand, if a dancer doesn't 'click' right away, the relatively high stage fees and extremely high local cost of living can leave her with less 'take home' earnings than are available in many other cities.
B. Vegas indeed isn't worth the 'paperwork' IMHO unless you're planning on making a full time dancing effort for several weeks at least and you don't mind high contact.
C. Dallas has some extremely decent clubs. My favorite is the ClubHouse. My only major complaint about Dallas, and about Texas in general, is that local LE can be unpredictable.
Re: Vegas, Dallas, NYC????
Depends on your appearance, where you get hired Roxanne, and where you would fit in/get along best. I've done private parties in Vegas, made $$$$, never did the clubs but I heard there's money to be made if you can hustle. Worked in Texas, not Dallas, wasn't as much of a hustle-easy money. Maybe not as big, but quality. I agree with Melonie, I have heard a lot about raids in Dallas. And if you're going to work in nyc, think about where you plan to work, where you plan to stay, how you plan to get around, and what you're going to do if things don't go as planned. 'Cause it's going to cost you more than all the other cities and trust, getting hired at Penthouse or Scores isn't your ideal situation unless on a scale of 1-10, you're a 9 or a 10 and you hustle at 11. Good luck babes.
