Serious poll for research project! #2
Okay the second question is this. If condoms, the pill and all other forms of contraception ceased to be available.. how would this change your attitude towards sex? Please take into consideration both pregnancy and disease. Please feel free to discuss this. Thanks!!
(if you didn't answer the first question, please do so at ).
Re: Serious poll for research project! #2
I would still act the same way with sex. I do a multiple of the above options given. If there were no contraception I would fight with my whole life to get it back. I believe its a womans right to protect herself from anything that involves sex.
Re: Serious poll for research project! #2
No change for me.
Still have sex in serious relationship.
Re: Serious poll for research project! #2
There is no option that says I would continue my current practice so I won't vote. If that was made an option, however, I would.
I'm sorry but your poll doesn't seem very well coordinated, maybe I am wrong, because it could be for a certain question. I would consider more options or a wider array of answers to the question.
Re: Serious poll for research project! #2
Contraception really isn't an issue with me anyway.
So it really wouldn't change anything for me at all.
With that said, I'm not voting.

Its only a preliminary poll so I know what 'works' when I come to the real thing. Its hard to get the balance between providing enough options but still actually having catagories which can be analysed! I've probably not made myself clear with this question though: if your practice wouldn't change, please pick the option which applies to you now!

Would you be in a position to elaborate on this? Does it mean you don't have casual sex or that you do but don't use protection? Thanks for all your comments and criticisms so far!
Re: Serious poll for research project! #2
It means me and hubby both went to the vet and got nutered/spayed.
He's clipped and so am I.
Re: Serious poll for research project! #2
It wouldnt change anything for me...if im not in a serious relationship sex seems pretty meaningless for me
Re: Serious poll for research project! #2
The main thing here for me isnt really the contraception...would std testing still be available? Id rather have a child unexpectedly than die from aids due to lack of condoms
Re: Serious poll for research project! #2
I didn't vote because I would use natural monthly cycles as birth control. i.e. have sex only the week after my period when I'm not ovulating
Re: Serious poll for research project! #2
I don't like the way it's worded. Are you using it to keep from getting prego or from catching something?
Re: Serious poll for research project! #2
My attitude would be PISSED OFF
First there has always been sex. Second, since civilization there has always been contraception in some form, often along the condom line, just nothing good before laytex condoms. Third I agree about the precise wording, is the purpose beyond avoiding conception? Fourth, oral sex is pretty nice anyway.
I think a better question is what if there were nothing available but condoms. Sorry, but I just don't have enough imagination for the original question.
Re: Serious poll for research project! #2
No contraception? I'd just masturbate. It wouldn't be worth it to have sex if I always ran the risk of getting pregnant. Besides, I really have gotten where I don't even feel like having sex at all so no big loss.

HAHA
Bunny- have you been dancing a lot lately?
That seems to happen when I spend to much time WORKIN it dancing, instead of WORKIN it in the bedroom!
As for the original question. If there was no BC available, it wouldn't be a big issue for me because I use my natural monthly calendar and avoid sex with my partner when I could risk getting preg. I did a lot of research in college and found that 99% of any sort of BC is bad for your body if you use it too long. Therefore being on monog. relationships is the only way sex with another person is acceptable for me. If I'm not, my toys get a good workout! I should invest in some battery stocks!
