First night report
so last night was my first night dancing, and on a friday too! i only had 1 outfit (sexy french maid, even though i am asian) but one of the girls lent me one of hers, so i switched between the 2 all night. the 7 hours went by sooo quickly. after tip outs i ended up with 196 but i figure, hey, it was my first night, and this is only a midwestern college town so maybe there isn't that much money to be made.
i think i ended up doing 7 chair dances total, especially more right before the club closed. :cow:
so i am really grateful to this board for all the useful info and tips i've been reading! this job is definitely more fun than working in an office. thanks to everyone.

Re: First night report
Wow $196 is good money for your first night (actually I'd be thrilled if I made that now, gotta love Florida in the summer). Congratulations and the best advice to give is put that money in the bank. You'll never know if you have a slow week when rents due :)

Re: First night report
Congratulations! That was a good start.
Many girls who have danced for years experience nights in the $200 range regularly, and you did that your first night. Great!
Just remember, that even when you learn the ropes more, and gain some selling skills, that money varies from night to night based on the clientele, and amount of girls you are working with. Some nights you may not even make $100, and others you may make $400+. Don't get discouraged. Understand that business has ups and downs.
Accept that fact, approach EVERY customer, and FOCUS on spending the time talking them into buying dances, rather than walking away from every no, and you'll do well in the long run.
