Hey i keep seeing all you lovely ladies looking at my post. PLease will someone help me, i really want to start but want to feel reassured about some stuff like tip outs in Toronot, and what clubs are good for low mileage, or at least where i can say no to and still get my money. Please some one help me..thankssssss
As I'm sure most people will tell you, the newbies guide is a good place to start.
Here's some specific Toronto info. You'll need a license, which is obtained after a fee and a criminal background check at 112 Elizabeth Street (near Dundas and Yonge.)
The more two tony clubs are Brass Rail and For Your Eyes only, but competition to work there and make money is fairly high, although you can always find a niche. I wouldn't reccomend those to start though- what I would do is work at a smaller but still nice club, like Club Paradise, until you feel more comfortable with the business and then moving on, if you wish.
In terms of fees and procedures, most clubs you can just walk into and show your license, they will look at you and tell you whether or not you can work. Floor fees vary and are usually higher if you get in late or don't do shows, or alternately, you can get part or all of your fee back if you do shows. For example, at the Rail, you pay $20 before 9 and $40 after, and you get $10 back for every time you go onstage. I've never encountered mandatory tipouts and I've worked at least once at almost every club in the GTA. DJ's and bouncers usually do appreciate a tip though, especially if they do something nice for you or you use their music- naturally.
In general, the more tourists and the better looking the ladies, the lower the mileage. Mileage also gets lower the closer you get to the downtown core. There are exceptions but that's a good general guideline.

I think 'Just covered the basics fairly well especially the issue of contact . The clubs in Mississuaga etc usually dont need licences just some photo id, but they are higher contact from what I have seen. Better to start out lower contact than high i would think.
Thank you so much for the reply, as for your recommendation for club paradise...never knew it existed. So you said its a nicer small one to start in, well im going to go check it out tonight.thanks so much for your advice it really helped. Also, im assuming there is low mileage, do you know anything about the tip outs..who i should tip etc..plus the stage fee....thanks soooo much:)
I don't know much about TO, so can't help, but the manager/housemum at the club should be forthcoming with all the information you need. Just ask :)
No housemoms at 99% of clubs here and clubs have an 'every man for himself' attitude, honest advice is hard to come by from club employees and most usually have a hand out.
DJ Mike is right, seductions is a whorehouse and the manager Gary is well known to lend newbies $$ to get the pimping started earlly. Seductions has no private vip areas, they just do all the disgusting stuff out in the open.
If you don't have a licence and no money, and no car so you're limited to the city limits, you don't have to get into a 'loan / repayment' (pimping) scenario with any club. What you need to
do is find a Toronto club and ask them to let you work daytime without a licence until you have the money to get it. They know that vice only comes in during the night after 8 so most everyone will let you work days for a week or so without a licence, but they won't tell u unless you know to ask. A plus is that you could take the TTC home after if need be, there are fewer girls, and rarely a new girl so the regulars will try you out.
If you have transportation, I would say start at Whisky A-Go-Go in Vaughan, or Pro Cafe, also in Vaughan. Brass rail has money to be made but it's a fast hustle and right on the subway / Yonge st so you get a lot of rif-raff I think, tons of broke 'lookers' and time-wasters. At whisky and Pro, you do not need a licence to work at these clubs but you will need a ride.
All of the clubs have drivers, driving a car comprable to an airport limo, and you get a flat rate. I never liked using the drivers, many are drug users / dealers, many try to sleep with all the girls., etc. I'm sure there are nice ones, but I've only known 3 and they were all scary.
After you get hired somewhere, try to get them to let you pay your 'DJ fee' at the end of the shift on day #1. Just hang back and talk to a customer at the begining of the shift, and try to see what the other girls are doing with their customers in the dance area. I suggest this because some clubs are really raunchy, and all kinds of things are happening like bj and fingering etc. If you see something you are not willing to do, then just go put your clothes back on and leave, find somewhere cleaner, and you won't have paid the house $45 for nothing.
No costume rules in most places. If you are confident in your ability to talk to guys and you're looks are in good shape, I say try For Your Eyes Only. It's got a huge $$ potential, but it's large and gets busy so might be overwhelming to a newbie.
Hope this helps and good luck!!
Thank 242_Fair, i appreciate the help. I was thinking of starting at treasures in Missisauga or at club paradise..at christie/bloor. I heard that one is smaller and better for a newbie...plus i heard that all clubs in sauga are dirty..but that treasures is the least and money potential is good there. Where exactly are the ones in vaughan because im going to to check them out...u said theres no need to get a license so when i go in should i call before...and just have all my stuff ready...let me know..thanks agian for the good advice.
oh and one prob with finding a club downtown that is open during the day is super rare...except th rail...everything else seems to open at like 4-5pmish....does anyone know any clubs in to open during the day...thanksss
You can find addresses on stripclublist.com. I don't know what you consider 'dirty' so you will need to visit a few clubs, either as customer or dancer, and pick on that you think fits you.
I know a lot of dancers in TO and we all talk about the clubs. I have never heard of Club Paradise. I don't necessairily think that working at a smaller club is the best idea for a newbie. In toronto, in my experience, the smaller the club, the more extras and managment bs goes on. Why don't you try to start at the top? Go to For Your Eyes only, and work a few early shifts, like 5pm onwards. Try to talk to some customers and do a few dances and just see what happens. You can leave whenever you want, tho they like you to stay 4 hours minimum.
Why go to a crummy club and then maybe get disgusted with the local customers all beer drinkers and no big spenders.
Go to a club where you're going to meet men in clean suits and not dirty mechanic uniforms. ya know>??? Downtown financial district guys, etc. Or suburban philandering husbands, as mel says. But don't go to a small club in a bad part of town, like Jillies or something.
What do u think of treasures..im kind of short on cash right now so i cant exactly afford the 300 dollar license...i was reading on naked truth...that treasures is pretty good...and that theres a higher end clientele...and you dont need a license...what do u think?
OK one friend of mine works there and she likes it. She says that most guys buy 3-4 dances and she always makes at least $500 a night. There is a lot of east indian guys and arabs etc. because of the location. Yes high rollers too, it is a very plush club. You might make all your $$ off a single customer, i.e. tell him your hourly rate is $350 or $20 / song (or whatever their prices are up to now), and tell him as long as you are naked the meter is running, then keep him occupied with dancing and talking 2 hours = $500-700. It's not a 'wanna dance' club, you have to talk them into the vip.
I can't say anything against the managment there because they they might kill me, and I'll leave it at that.
Just try to be very polite to managers, and it at all possible do not let them photocopy your id's or take your sin # or anything like that. After your age is verified, all they need to know about you is your stage name. This goes for all clubs. The more information about you that stays in the club, the worse it is.
Example: One girl I know worked for a club in 1999. They had her initial application on their files long after she left, in 2001. in 2004 the club got closed for back taxes and the bailiff locked the doors. Revenue Canada came in and took over the files and audited all the girls whose names were in the files.
Treasures Re Hiring / auditioning, I know that they do not accept any new girls after 9 pm. If you're hot there will not be an audition.
I also know that when I pick up my friend at midnight from Treasures, the parking lot is rammed with nice cars and there are drunks all over so that probabally = $$.
Ok good luck. I think u should bring a mini-dress as well as a lingere set because I don't know what they wear there and you want to be comfortable and fit in. I believe their tip out is $50. A cab ride to Treasures from downtown will cost u about $35+ each direction, so if you live downtown you need to make $120 per shift to just get you out of the red. Food for thought = the first 6 dances you give are basically for 'free' to pay your fees ;-(
um, okay thanks for the awsome advice....question...i thought tipout was 40 dollars....isnt each song 20 bucks.(just cuz at the end you said your first 6 dances would be free) to pay out...plus can i bring my on music, and if not, what music do they play?.....do you know if its possible to take like a bus or go or something to get up there just so its cheaper when getting there...thanks again, i was thinking of not doing it for a while because i was okay fro money but i know now that im not at all, thanks for the advice about id thing, do they need 2 pieces because i lost my passport, and only have one that just expired recently...and my healthcard is one of those old ones with no pic...thanks sooo much, so im gonna do it..starting probably thursday...thankss
Tip outs + Taxis = about $120
That means that you have to dance 6 songs before you have 'made' a dollar.
You should call the club with any other q's.
