Re: Negative Comments on SCL
Sorry hun - sounds like more Strip Club Drama... you wont get in trouble with it... anyone with a brain will know its BS and just people trying to upset you... dont let them win!
Re: Negative Comments on SCL
I know that its probably either a dancer or employee because I do complian about money with the girls I'm friendly with IN THE DRESSING ROOM. I'll also joke around with the other girls in the dressing room that its really hard to work sober but will never say that to patrons. Unfortuniatly management has heard me talking about those things (just from hanging out in the dressing room BSing with girls when its dead) so they know I complain about it so I wish I could let them know I never do those things with customers. Whenever a customer critisises another dancer I always reply with either a positive comment about them or say well a lot of guys do find her attractive because she does do really well here.
Re: Negative Comments on SCL
Everyone has their off days and Ill guarantee not one girl in that club has never bitched, moaned or complained about money, custys or other girls. Im surprised theyre making it into such a big deal... My manager always hears an earful from me when its a crappy night but to air dirty laundry is BS. You have a right to be upset about it but try to remember that its all politics... there may be something behind it like you make more than another dancer so shes out to get you... kinda like high school... i always compare the CS to HS...
Re: Negative Comments on SCL
in many cases SCL has now degerated to a 'surrogate dressing room'
Re: Negative Comments on SCL
all you can do really is blow it off. Somone posted how I could fart on command. I retaliated with " Don't worry, I promise to only use my powers for good, not evil".
Re: Negative Comments on SCL
uh, that club is nothing but drama. You can report that post on SCL. I think it takes a couple of days to be erased.
Re: Negative Comments on SCL
I've read some really mean comments written about my dancer friends (thankfully, I've never made it up on those boards). I know some of the comments are written by guys who are pissed off for not "getting what they want". ITC or OTC.
Chalk it up to a bunch of pre-pubescent boys who have nothing better to do than make themselves feel better. Eh, it's also written by dancers who are jealous of other dancers for whatever reasons. I don't even visit that board anymore. Too much drama.
Re: Negative Comments on SCL
individuals who are insecure about themselves are always the ones to talk crap about other people.. they aren't happy with themselves or their lives to they get some kind of sick joy out of spreading false rumors and accusations around the club... only you know the real you.... don't let these dumb biatches get the best of you......
Re: Negative Comments on SCL
It's one of 2 things. It's either a jealous/envious fellow/former co-worker, or a patron who didn't get the extras he desired. That's usually how it goes. Custoemrs who don't get extras, either bash the dancers, or fabricate stories about extras. Fellow/former co-workers often go on there to try to discourage customers fron buying dances or tipping. I look at SCL this way: If I see something bad written about a particular dancer, I usually seek her out next visit and talk to/buy from her. They usually turn out to be the better dancers. Someone posted a nasty note about my ATF on my club's site, and my ATF is one of the top earners and most beautiful girls there. I wouldn't grant it any more thought.
Re: Negative Comments on SCL
If you are worried about your reputation with prospective customers in the future, you can get the comment removed. i think it's like $5.00 or something like that. I'm pretty sure anyone can remove the comments, as long as you pay. Also, from some of the stuff I've seen, it seems like a lot of the negative comments are from other dancers 'posing' as customers on SCL.
Re: Negative Comments on SCL
I think that You should have to be registered on scl to post comments and such that way it will discourage negative posting.
by the way im new here... *waves*
Re: Negative Comments on SCL
Re: Negative Comments on SCL
SCL = www.stripclublist.com
There is a member site, www.tuscl.com (The Ultimate Strip Club List), however you only have to do a club review to get like a month's membership free. Something like that.
Re: Negative Comments on SCL
Thanks I was dying to go see if anything about my club was posted.... just some crap about drunk waitress,,,,
Re: Negative Comments on SCL
Well I went into work yesterday afternoon and was joking around with a couple of the girls in the dressing room about the comment (If it was a dancer that posted it I did not want her to know that it bothered me). The funniest thing is a few customers actually read the comment and wanted to meet me. Within a few minutes they realized it was not true and I ended up doing really well. I guess the saying is true "even negative publicity is good publicity" I agree with a PP where I think you should be required to register before your allowed to post (even register with a credit card so you can't use a fake name)

From the Tuscl web site:

Funny and true.
Re: Negative Comments on SCL
sounds bad, but look at it like advertisment, positive or negative your names up there, and if a guy who's never been there reads your name, he'll probably check you out!
Re: Negative Comments on SCL
All it does it raise curiosity. Everytime I see a dancer's (stage) ame called out on SCL, I actively seek her out. Usually she's one of the best. It's a jealousy thing.
Re: Negative Comments on SCL
Report it to the website management or, if all else fails, pay a lawyer twenty bucks to write a cease and desist notice to the website for you. They'll turn pale and delete that thing pronto.
Re: Negative Comments on SCL
The best thing you can do whenever someone flings a post out like that is to act like it's nothing. You want to appear to be the saner end of things. I would be angry, too. They had no right to say those things. But if you act like it doesn't affect you at all, then people will KNOW it's false. And it sounds like it worked out for the best, anyways, because people know who you are! Shake your money maker!
Re: Negative Comments on SCL
If they're talking about you, they're thinking about you.
Take it as a compliment in a very strange way.
If you notice, really only the top girls of any club are ever mentioned on SCL.
And if you weren't a top girl before, congratulations, you just became one.
Besides, who really cares what they say. As long as you're making money, that's all that matters. Guys vote with their $$$. And trust me, they know it's all bullshit. It's just fun for them to gossip as much as it is for us.
Your best reaction is to blow it off and makes some fat cash. ;-)

But why waste money on removing a comment when its presense has seemed to have had a positive result monetarily speaking? I know if I were reseaching a club and saw some comment that "Dancer X is a bitch", I'd be even more intrigued to meet the gal.
Anonymous defamation aside, most SC customers don't know SCL exists, and those who do are pretty well aware that the comments section there is a crock of shit.
And Alexis can dance for me anytime. ;)
Re: Negative Comments on SCL
btw, I believe that club owners/managers can have the comments removed for free. I know my club can.
If comments ever get out of control, try that option.
Re: Negative Comments on SCL
Sounds to me like someone who probably works at the club you work in who doesn't like you posted the negative comments. Just ignore it. If you're a good dancer, then the management knows it and they'll ignore any bull that some loser felt the need to post.
